Two early goals have unsettled the Rennes side, now they need to attack. We must be careful and try to score another, because they may be saving their attack for the last minute.

Even if you are not an arsenal fan, you are still very sentimental in your thoughts...you suddenly feel man utd needs overhaul because they were beaten by arsenal?

You forgot the number of injuries that team sustained. And the few that were introduced during the arsenal match were unfit players. Do you think arsenal could have beaten the normal man utd team?

I expected that match to be draw because arsenal won't like to collect another 1:3 at their own backyard in one season, All thanks to Fred and his penalty. He will soon go back to bench shaaa. The players are recovering gradually...

It was their fighting spirit that helped them against psg, which they lacked totally against arsenal...

N/B for a good analysis, you must point all these out and not shouting the team needs a total overhaul because they lost to arsenal...wen I know very well, arsenal cannot beat the normal man utd team...
Absolute rubbish. Loaded with blind sentiments.

Which team is not injury ravaged. When United beat Arsenal, they were on injury crises.

What happened at OT?

Accept defeat with pride.

Now this is a better way to pass across your ideas and not resort to throwing insults around. Good one.

I still don't agree with you that Auba is top notch. He is a level below the likes of Aguero and Kane, Auba is too wasteful and not impactful.
Go and re-watch the Kane goal against Dortmund recently in Signa Iduna park in the UCL, that's how decisive strikers play. They win matches and make the difference for their team, week in, week out. Auba is not that kind of striker.
Lacazette is even worse. I disagree that that both of them would feature for the very top top team, Auba was literally begging Madrid to come get him, and they never went for him, infact, the only reason we have Laca and Auba is because no other top club was interested in them. We all know that Arsenal don't win transfer bidding wars against top teams.
With wasteful strikers Like Auba and Laca, we would always come up short.
Auba misses chances we know. In fact I was just going through a list of strikers with most misses, and Auba tops it. Another Interesting observation is that Mohammed Salah is second.

Which validates my point, that you can only miss if you are there. If you are there, you are already a top striker. May be not the best, but top at least.

Secondly, not all strikers are the same mould.
Some have pace, some don't.
Some can dribble, some can't.
Some will hold and guard the ball, some won't.
Some are good in the air, some aren't.

Years back the best strikers are big and strong, these days they are small and stout.

But they are all STRIKERS. And should be appreciated not castigated for seemingly lack of a particular skill, so long as they do their primary duty of ruffling the net.

It is left of the manager, to buy and use according to what he requires.

And in your narrow mindset , your opinions are superior and you know football better.

I swear, the kind of people roaming this forum are funny beings.

What's the point being there if you are going to miss them? Shouldn't this be common sense?

What lots of goals has he scored this season?

Mr man, I would advise you stick to analysing points and stop this childish uncouth behavior of throwing insults around. What exactly is wrong with you lots, if someone don't agree with your own points, if you want to quote them, then bring up better points to counter them.

By the way, not everyone has to play professional football or whatever to know the game, and you don't even know me to start with. There are many good coaches/managers who never played the game at top level, its not prerequisite to having good grasp of the game.

We all can't see the game from your own perspective, learn to deal with it.

Auba is wasteful and overhyped, that's the truth. Lacazette isn't any better too.

Arsenal lack good decisive strikers. The days of Van Persie and Henry when Big chances get converted to goals and made to count for Arsenal are gone . You don't need to be a Maradona to know this.
Common sense also tells you that you cannot score unless you are there.
The hardest job of being a striker is the ability to position oneself exactly where the ball is going to be, in other words being at the right place and right time. Converting it is another thing all together. That is why they top goal scorers despite missing a lot of chances. Even Aguero has his numerous misses. For someone to castigate Auba for missing chances despite his foal tally is being ridiculous.

Lacazette may not be as prolific or may not have the better positioning, but he has his own strengths. He can hold the ball and bring others to play, even as a lone striker.

These two will feature for any top club in Europe. Criticise them when they play badly but don't rubbish their talents just because it doesn't suit you. It's annoying.

I swear,Aubameyang is overhyped.

A striker that can't take on his man and dribble through defenders is no striker.

He can't dribble, his passing is poor and worst still, his conversion rate in front of goal is pathetic.
Clearly not worth his weekly wages.

I would rather we got rid of him and got a winger. Chukwueze,Cengiz under, Pepe, etc are out there.

The less said about Ozil, the better .
You no know ball.

That's all I can say after deleting my initial comment.

He can't dribble but he scores lots of goals.

He misses chances but he has to be there first to miss them.

If you have never played football, (real football not monkey post) at least watch with some sense.

Congrats for qualifying for the QF, but PSG only needed the right mentality to avoid being beaten. They were the better side but probably underrated United which has been their problem in recent years. A problem of poor mental preparedness caused by the kind of league they find themselves. The competitiveness of the PL makes English teams hard to beat despite their poor displays.

United winning this year's CL would be a great miracle. They would easily get knocked out by a rugged team like Porto, all the same enjoy the show.

That said, the point really is that for United finishing fourth would be by miles the easier route to playing CL next season. Especially when you compare that to Arsenal winning the Europa. Hence the assertion that more pressure would be on United when they play Arsenal on Sunday.

Whatever makes u sleep at night olodo360. So it's Arsenal that has hope of winning the Europa? U couldn't win it last season with only Atletico as the major team standing in ur way but u want to win it this season with Chelsea, Sevilla, Inter and Napoli in the competition? Lol.

Arsenal that has to play in France and get back to London to host United in the space of 3 days, and currently 5th on the table aren't under any pressure.
But United that are 4th, on the back of a good win at PSG, and an impressive away form especially at Old Trafford Annex are the ones currently sweating and under pressure.

What a load of BS.
AdeMuMu my friend, pressure is on you after spending so much, not being in the CL for a club of magnitude as United is a Grande failure.

Arsenal is down already, we fear no fall.

We are still restructuring.

Building.

Either EL or fourth place will suffice. Whereas while you should be up there with City and Liverpool aiming for the title, you are fighting for fourth place, off course completely hopelessly hoping against hopes to win the CL.

The fact is that the pressure on Sunday is on United.

They know they aren't gonna win the UCL, so their only chance of making CL next season is finishing 4th. Unlike Arsenal and Chelsea who have the luxury o FB the EL.

I knew the moment lukaku scored very early, I knew PSG was in deep shyte. I tried to watch but swift just useless. The little moment I watched I could see PSG had difficulty playing from the back as man u pressed from the front. That PSG team has mental issues. Lyon is better. Neymar should leave if he wants world best. The coaches were never the problem. Speaks alot for a team that won a first leg by 4 goals to go and lose the second leg 6-1. grin
They didn't not prepare well for the game especially mentally. One of the disadvantages of playing in a monotonous league.

All they needed to do was keep the ball with a siege mentality.
