KevinDein: Luis performance is very epileptic. One minute he's world class, almost Canavarroesque, the next he is commiting schoolboy errors ala Titus Bramble. His better performances usually require the presence of a top defender with leadership qualities (like John "the asssshole" Terry, Thiago Silva). Sadly, we lack these sorts of defenders at Arsenal at the moment and the whole Arsenal system of play that is devoid of defensive structure would expose him even further.
Your last sentence, as much as Mahrez is a top player with excellent techniques and dribbling abilities, I'd say we have at least three players similar to him in the team (Ozil, Mhiki, Wilshere) so he isn't a top priority. You are right bro. Also Luis can be that DM we darely need. |

KevinDein: Guys, do you think it's a cool deal if we gave the Chelshit scums Giroud in exchange for David Luiz...
Cc Spy360, edi287, sod09 Very cool. As in very very cool. We really need a defender, and David Luis despite having the tendency to be rash can be a good addition. He is good at free kicks too... Also as a defender we would get more time from him then Chelshit will get from Giroud. Na did kind deal I dey like.. |

mystikal: Hate to see Giroud go, but if it's inevitable, then I'd want him to go to Dortmund to help seal the Aubameyang deal! Chelsea can jog on.... Seems Chelsea would be heading for Llorente, Dortmund for Batshuayi. So we get to keep Giroud. This will be an ideal situation, that his head might become crucial at some point in the season. |

KevinDein: You don't get it. I meant they got around 20 million pounds from the Walcott sale, which compensate for the Auba purchase hence my earlier assertion that 35.5 million pounds would be the NET spent. Oh yes, net. Meanwhile, I don't like we losing Giroud to Chelsea. I just got a bad feeling losing players to rivals. |

KevinDein: It will turn out to be a fantastic window if Arsenal replaced a soon to be out of contract, Sanchez and Walcott, who isn't really a first team player these days with Mikhi and Auba, all costing the club around 35.5 million pounds (essentially what we got for the Ox). Arsenal is paying €65m for Auba actually. But it's worth it. |

sod09: you they mind them ..... Imagine mumu360 still kicking the man's ass But true true wengay get small point cos I watched spurs and LFC today those two no get hope of silverware at all You too don dey get small sense, Besides na me dey push Kara make the old man commot for this club. Klopp confuses fans with winning big games because of his pressing and counter attacks. But in small games he loses control. Poch will always get close enough but never there. May be due to lack of depth. Wenger always finds a way to cushion the disappointment of the season by either winning the FA cup or finishing top 4. |

You see why I said you are stupid And why can't we compare Arsenal to Liverpool and Spurs? They are in the UCL, Arsenal is not. In fact both are above Arsenal on the league table. Both even have arguably better players. Another reason why you should accept you are stupid. |

KevinDein: Four cup finals in five years for Arsenal, won three, potential fourth in the offing. Finished outside the top four once in the last 21 years, all along spending much less than The Manchester clubs, Chelsea and even Liverpool these days.
But of course according to the media, Arsenal are crap and wenger should be lynched and worse, some so-called Arsenal fans are buying the narrative While this may be true, it also masks real challenges and failures the club is facing all due to poor decisions. |

Roland17: It's time to credit Monreal for his massive contribution to this team since his return from injury. He is scoring, assisting and more importantly, he has brought some stability to the backline. He has also brought leadership, helping to rally the team at a time when things could easily go south. |

Why the Mkhitaryan deal is great.
1. We just got a replacement for Ozil, whose loss would be more disastrous if he doesn't commit.
2. If Ozil commits, we would have created one of the best assists combo in EPL history.
3. As good as Sanchez, every Arsenal fan knows how he halts some brilliant attacking moves with his selfish hold of the ball, most times losing it leading to a counter attack. Mkhi would bring a more direct approach to our attacking play.
4. Mkhi speaks both German and French (and off course English), this would make a seamless blend with most of the playing staff at the club, especially his partners Ozil and Lacazette.
5. Having become another Jose stat for broken chords (eg KDB, Mata, Sallah etc), Arsenal fans should start singing haleluyah praise. |

Arsenal got a very good attacker in exchange for a player who would walk for free in 5 months So who got the better deal? |
