Congrats for qualifying for the QF, but PSG only needed the right mentality to avoid being beaten. They were the better side but probably underrated United which has been their problem in recent years. A problem of poor mental preparedness caused by the kind of league they find themselves. The competitiveness of the PL makes English teams hard to beat despite their poor displays.

United winning this year's CL would be a great miracle. They would easily get knocked out by a rugged team like Porto, all the same enjoy the show.

That said, the point really is that for United finishing fourth would be by miles the easier route to playing CL next season. Especially when you compare that to Arsenal winning the Europa. Hence the assertion that more pressure would be on United when they play Arsenal on Sunday.

No, not this season for me. While he is a talented, energetic and a good central box-box midfielder, he is still young, fragile, inexperienced and new to the EPL to bench either Torreira or Xhaka. Lol. Sky sports is a sports website and not the organizers of the competition. ESPN, BBC and others may have Xhaka but it would have meant nothing if the official competition recognized someone else. The official MOTM from Uefa is Xhaka.

Ironically if you look closely at the sky sports rating, Xhaka scored the same 8 points that Guen had. However, on Uefa he does not gather more points than Mustafi and Litch worth more Xhaka. Maybe you should say according to sky sports.

My point is that at least one reliable rater awarded him MOTM. Why would you or anyone regard him as no starter? Why should I accept your rating as against that of Sky Sports?

Xhaka, Mustafi and Litch made the team of the week and I don’t see Guen. So I don’t know which MOTM award you are speaking of, except I am missing something.
