Xhaka and Elneny's combination on Sunday is definitely one that Wenger should seriously consider this season.

While it may lack the creativity a Ramsey/ Xhaka brings, especially with Ramsey's intelligent runs inside the box, it provides the balance on defense and offense the latter lacks.

I would definitely love to see the more of the Xhaka/ Elneny combo this season.

I too would love to see Elneny blossom, but Ramsey is a better all round player when you consider both defensive and offensive abilities.

Take for example that FA cup final against Chelsea, Ramsey's runs from midfield made all the difference while still providing defensive support for Xhaka.

Add his work ethic, he is a perfect foil for Xhaka.

If Wenger succeeds in keeping Sanchez by the end of the summer transfer, then January may be Wenger's target for all three players ( Sanchez, Ox and Ozil) depending on Arsenal's position on the log.

If by miracle we are in strong contention for the premier league, I think Wenger risk's it by keeping all three until the end of the season, however, if we are out of contention (as usual), he trades 2/3 to the highest bidder. That being said, I think Ozil stays irrespective.

In my opinion the 2017/ 2018 season is Wenger's last season because his 2018/ 2019 season would be overshadowed by his contract situation and succession plans/ agitation which has been a distraction for this team. If anything good would happen, it must happen this season, but with the current situation that seems unlikely.

With the geometrical rate of increase in transfer fees, letting quality players leave may leave the club short of key personnel.

Since money is not q problem, having made the mistake of not extending the contract of Ozil and co I support Wenger's decision to let their contract run out.

Any fee we get from them would not pay for similar quality. So we keep them and see how far they would lead us towards winning the title next season.

Lool Wenger is the reason we are debating on average strikers like dz, The issue is Giraud's inability to run,dribble, manoeuvre his way in tight corners,threat defenders,dazzle us with skills amongst many others frustrates me a lot..

Even if he isn't that endowed, atleast be a Costa kind of striker that just wants to score and win rather he looks relaxed and having fun on pitch...

Welbeck will trouble defences and even create chances but will never score.

Man City was not the problem when United paid £89m for Paul Pogba. They were not the problem when United paid £90m for Lukaku. The market is the market and you have the windfall in TV revenue to blame for this.

Lacazette was tagged at £55M only a season ago when Wenger inquired. This season he came cheaper so Wenger paid. Sure, some coaches are more desperate than others but they are not the one's carrying out the negotiations.

This same Lemar because of whom Monaco just turned down €50m from Arsenal could depreciate in value this very season. Wenger and AFC should have offered this same money 2 months ago and Monaco would have accepted.

It is clear they are playing hardball now but it would not last because the player in question wants to join Arsenal. To add to that, they know Wenger has more than met their valuation of the player. They just want to see if they can milk the process more. Who does not do that?

Some say only Marcelo was more impressive than Mendy last season. Some others say Marcelo and Sandro. The question is, how much would you pay for Marcelo in today's market?

You make some sense. More money in the EPL is driving the market. But just as Roland said those spending astronomically had better win the league or face serious backlash.

For me Wilshere should stay but Gibbs can go. Lemar will replace the likes of Walcott. Welbeck will compete with Giroud and Lacazette.

Lemar deal now close. Wenger going for more attacking options excites me.

One has to agree that City made the best improvements in th EPL. They made great signings in areas in which they were weak, kept all their good players and offloaded most of their poor ones.
It does not automatically translate to online success but they have won the EPL transfer window so far.

It is easy to improve a team when you have all the cash in the world. See how he is overspending.
