Emaprince: Roland17 is actually right. Spy360 is a pure example of how an arsenal fan thinks. Average performances calls for celebration as far as he is concerned. All of you forming 'prima' all celebrated that goal if you are honest. People celebrate equalisers, especially coming from 3-0 down. I don't see how things have changed biko nu. Me I am honest o. As at 30mins 2-0, I was still hopeful of a win. As at 65mins, 3-0 I was praying and begging for a draw. God answered my prayers 92mins and you say I should not be happy? #Waka! |

raumdeuter: Wenger is also unique, He needs players who are born losers, mental midgets, Players with no drive and desire in life aside to be mediocre. Not bottom of the class and not top either, players who will equalize against Bournemouth and spend the next week taking selfies. Players who on one day you will think they are absolutely world class and for the next 6 days be wondering how they became footballers. Players like Walcott, Giroud Ramsey.
Typical Pep players wont work under Mourinho , Klopp type of players wont work under Wenger etc
Klopp will vomit with Pep type of players, Pep will get a migraine with Klopp type of players while Mourinho will personally murder Wenger type of players I took away your initial paragraphs because I agree with them. The quoted are some jokes right? Because Wenger is a type a manager that works with anything. Wenger plays a similar style with Pep but does not require big names to do it, hence your 'mediocre' list. That Wenger actually uses those players you mentioned proves why he has my rating. By the way, on the Bornemouth game, we didn't celebrate for drawing, but for not given trolls like you a chance for a New Year Party. And I believe that is why you are UNHAPPY. :p |

Roland17 and Kokaneprodigy
You must look at it based on context.
Having to draw with Bornemouth is a bad result for Arsenal not worth celebrating.
But coming from 3-0 down with 20mins left is worth given a thought.
You are I agree that game was lost until Giroud's header.
If he chose not to celebrate makes him unique. If he decides to celebrate shouldn't be a crime either- based on the situation. |

TRendlona: Man City isn't a team that fits Guardiola' style of play. We all know Guardiola likes plays from the keeper to the defenders, to the midfielders and then launches the attack with the forwards. He likes it when his players pass around and maintain possession. Players like Fernando, Fernadino, Kolarov, Sterling, Stones etc aren't really good at this style of play. If Arsenal appoints Guardiola I know he'll make a very great change because there are players in Arsenal that can easily adapt to his style of play.
Players also contribute to the success of a coach not just the coach's ability to change the team. We are slowly getting to an agreeable point. Pep's tactics are difficult to play. This is because you need players with specific skill set (eg ball control, leg work, movement off the ball, etc) to accomplish it. Such players are usually of the highest calibre eg Messi. But a coach like Klopp has his own tactic, high pressing which is energy sapping. You need donkey-players to do it. Mou needs extremely disciplined players. Pep's problem is imposing his style on players who can't cope. Pep needs big players. That's what I try to let you and Raumdeuter realise. |

TRendlona: Yea I know he mayn't be living up to expectation for now but u can't just use half of a season to judge the whole career of the guy. It's usual for every coach to face tough times. I know I shouldn't judge him for now. I am not judging him, just saying that we are waiting for him to convince us. Deep down I know Pep is a great tactician. A manager that believes in himself and is not afraid to try things. But then you guys use his many titles to condemn others who are equally trying (like Klopp or Poch) as if everything ends on titles. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by Spy360(m): 7:36pm On Jan 08, 2017 |
Personally, I do not rate coaches simply based on titles but rather on how they manage resources. Mgt101.
Take for instance, a coach takes a team like Hoffenheim who by their standard should be battling relegation and helps them to 5th place. I rate such a coach over the one who leads Bayern to Bundesliga.
Not that the Bayern coach isn't good (might even be better) but coaching Bayern isn't a test at all.
The fact that Bayern buys players from Dortmund (who should be their closest rival) and other top German clubs is a give away on who should win the Bundesliga.
In England, for me top managers are Klopp and Pochentino. Arsene comes next. |

TRendlona: If any coach can be in those clubs and be successful, tell me why Martino failed in Barca, tell me why Benitez failed in Madrid.
The only coach to win the sextuple in football's history, you still say he's overrated haba! . I did not just say he is over-rated. I am saying he has not lived up to his rating. He still can- by winning the EPL and UCL. Martino and Benitez did achieve 'some' things. Where they are now suggest anybody can do 'something'. |

Eruditor: No bro. From the point Giroud scored to when he went back for the kick-off was exactly 19seconds. That's what Keky is alluding to and I agree with him. (You can use the match time to calculate it).
In other words, the celebration did not take a significant amount of time from the clock. Besides we came from 3 nil down with 20mins left. I don't know why fans can't handle objectivity. Yes, the ideal thing to do was to run back to the centre circle. But considering the pressure, shame, and that trolls had already flooded social media with hate. Celebrating a 92nd min equaliser after going 3 down is not madness. |

How long did it take Bayern to move to a tier 1 club in Europe. Your history of repeated winning makes you a tier 1 History of repeated winnings? That's why I said he is hype. He wants to coach Barcelona, Bayern, PSG or Juventus. These are clubs that any manager can win with. Repeated winnings? There is always a starting point. And for City that point has come. He should start winning or bleep off. Let him win the EPL or UCL and I will forever sing his name. |

If you say players, there is no doubt that City has them. He also has all the resources to get them. Worse still, he shouldn't be depending on players. If you say titles, then Pep has to win them. That's why he is being paid, to win both the EPL and UCL. Pep's excuse is unacceptable with all the hype as the world's best tactician. |

raumdeuter: Allegri turned Juventus into a CL finalist and last season lost to Bayern in extra time. They can stand with Europes elites now under Allegri while under Conte Bayern beat Juve home and away, even Galatasaray eliminated Juventus
The fact is Juve in Europe has been better under Allegri than under Conte Conte laid the foundations. The players, tactics, team structure, and dominance. What Allegri did was to continue what Conte has already done. That was what he was employed for. That doesn't mean Allegri is less than Conte. That Juve went to UCL during Allegri's time does not also equally mean he is better than Conte. As a matter of fact, with what Conte is doing at Chelsea, he has my highest rating. Allegri has yet to prove himself. |

Pep's recent comments about City is becoming nauceating.
Calling City a second tier club and subtly asking for more time to make them an 'elite' club onnly goes to prove my ascertions that he is mere hype.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against him. But it seems the media hype got at him too. |
