Moyes had the best record after early games compared to LvG and Jose. It's name that is just keeping Mou up till this time. |

raumdeuter: First that wasn't Pep Bayern that was Juup Heynckes Bayern
So in the history of football for over a 100yrs has there been any coach who wasnt beatable?, Or you mean there have been no exceptional coach ever in the history of football.
If you mean that there have never in history been an exceptional coach then is Pep God that he should be unbeatable? Winning Laliga or Bundesliga with teams like Barca and Bayern possessing such calibre of players is only doing the obvious. Any average coach can achieve that. So without counting those, an exceptional coach is one who is the major reason for his team's success and who does that consistently at least over a period of time. In other words, one must do EXCEPTIONAL things to be an exceptional manager. Sir Alex Ferguson was an exceptional manager, especially in 1999. Wenger was an exceptional manager in 2004, same as Jose. I absolutely have no reason to view Pep as an exceptional manager so far UNTIL IF HE CAN WIN THE TREBLE with Man City at the least considering the array of talent at his disposal. Had he been unbeaten in the league, I'd say OK let him win it just as Arsene did in 2004, but that has been defeated already. No doubt he is a very good manager, but as yet he hasn't done anything exceptional. |

This morning I was just thinking 'how many fans in the world would love that Ozil-goal?'.
I am pretty sure two people wouldn't- Kroenke and Gazidis.
It would cost them £100k more every week from next summer and a 'shut your mouth' negotiation with Ozil's agent.
Sign up Ozil or die niccurs! |

raumdeuter: Probably because Pep deployed superior tactics something Wenger, Pellegrini and other Barca victims in the past were not able to figure how to do Maybe you have not considered personel in your analogy. And by the way, Wenger has defeated Barca and Bayern some few times as well. |

raumdeuter: spy360 and co will form like they didnt see a Pep coached team outplay and outshoot Barcelona yesterday I think Pep is a brilliant coach. We should just not over-rate him. He lost last time, but this time he won against the same team. Similar to when his Bayern won at the Emirates 3-1 but lost at Alianz 0-2 to Arsenal. He is a very good coach but not exceptional. Right now there are no exceptional coaches, everyone is beatable. We only have a class of very good coaches, and Pep is there. |

mystikal: I think I would join join my opinion with the opinion of those who think Giroud and Ramsey need to be starting from the bench. Our attack blunt small today. Our cause was helped a bit by the fact that Ludo has a terrible defence. This team against spurs might struggle.
How long is cazorla, walcott and bellerin out for by the way or was it just precautionary? In as much as I also would prefer Sanchez upfront against Spurs, I cannot judge a team based on just two players playing a CL away game far away in Bulgaria. A game which they both contributed to the victory. Na wa o. Make una cool down now. |

kokaneprodigy: So cos Ramsey had an assist means we should endure playing with a blunt attack. Those guys are better from the bench abeg, Better from the bench true. That doesn't mean they are useless when starting. This was like a second team performance and they handled it well. Take away the shaky start (which can happen any where) they had a brilliant performance. They showed great character and tenacity to come from 2goals down to win the game. |

kokaneprodigy: Oga leave this epistle, I'm not looking at the goals I'm looking at the overall performance. Our attack was really blunt this is not the Arsenal I'm getting use to seeing jor. Is it until we lose y'all will C this? We couldn't even string nice passes in their box, kept losing passes here and there. Wenger had better not start those two on Sunday, I go vex gan. This was a CL away game in BULGARIA, that could give you malaria. Abeg free them. They made their contributions. |

kokaneprodigy: How about 4-4-2 diamond, just wanna see a possibility of accommodating both players upfront. I don't enjoy seeing Giroud as a lone strike, defences tend to play with a high line cos of his lack of pace. And we don't hoof the ball we are not Yawnited. Diamond midfield means no Walcott. But I think it should be ok as it will accomodate Ramsey and Cazorla with Ozil at the tip. Sanchez can equally drop into midfield if need be. Nice formation. ...................... afrodoc2: So Conte is now playing Kante as B2B? I remember when we said Kante's qualities were better utilized as just that rather than as a holding midfielder. Kante actually switches the role with Matic. They seem to work seamlessly. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 5:42am On Nov 01, 2016 |
kokaneprodigy: That was what he played when he introduced Giroud against Sunderland. Hence they were confused on whether to play a high defence line or deep one. 4-4-2 will be hard for Ozil. He can't defend plus we have many play makers that selecting only one will be useless. Again whoever is at DM must be very disciplined. Better shift Alexis to wing. He can be making runs from there. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 4:42am On Nov 01, 2016 |
kokaneprodigy: Manager Arsene Wenger said Bellerin, fellow full-back Nacho Monreal, midfielder Santi Cazorla and forward Theo Walcott all stayed home to recover from minor injuries ahead of Sunday's crucial North London Derby against Tottenham. Bellerin finally gets a rest, looking forward to who plays the role and how well he does.
Spurs match is more crucial than Ludogorets. Jenkinson at RB. Wenger is suggesting playing a 4-4-2 with Giroud back. What does that mean Ozil? AMF, LW? |
