Roland17: Wenger displayed tactical intelligence by sticking to Sanchez as CF against Watford who play 3 at the back. Constant, and unpredictable movement of our pacy forwards has troubled Watford's back three. It would have been easier for Watford to keep Giroud in check if he started considering they know where he would be.
I hope folks can again see what Santi brings to the team. Calmness, intelligence and offensive football. Fluid, and pragmatic first half display. True. But others can also give us something different. That midfield belongs to Xhaka. |

Watch out Perez and Mustafi being rated higher than Aguero and Ramos soon. Perez would soon be called up to Spanish national team from Oct. As for Mustafi, he has already displaced Hummels in the German's. NB: Haters take style vex. |

Roland17: I share same perspective. Xhaka had great pass/ tackle completion against Leceister, I hope to see him alongside little magician. Also, a quicker transition into offense from the middle of the park into the final third of the opposition. We were too hesitant with possession against Leceister. We had a defence we were not sure of hence the double DM to curb the runs of one of the quickest strikers- Vardy. Note that it worked, though our attack suffered too. A box to box runner would increase our attacking flow and allow the wingers to push further even drifting into the centre- that would look more like a 4-3-3 instead of 4-5-1. Alternatively, Xhaka is a good passer himself and with Ozil returning into CM, transistion won't be a problem. I want a situation where Ozil wouldn't be burdened with too much defensive duties and given enough space to run into. It's Watford! |

MrDojo: Xhaka is there to do the dirty work...if cazorla starts it will be becuz he can control a game....don't be surprised wenger shocks everyone and jack starts instead..... But I've a feeling its either caz or he'll go for two DMs
I think I've said it b4...cazorla is againg and becoming more injury prone, won't be surprise if this season becomes his last in arsenal.... Wilshere really is another option. He was quite decent when he came on against Leicester and tried to dominate the midfield with Ozil. My fear is that he has glass legs. It's an away game and you want Ozil to flourish without having to look back all the time. So I would recommend 2 DMs- Xhaka and Le Coq until the game is in control. |

MrDojo: Cazorla may start ahead of le coq....but since its an away game wenger might want to use elneny or le coq....Ozil and Giroud will be back....maybe wenger. Try a formation that accommodates both sanchez and giroud up front....I doubt it tho Cazorla didn't really impress me against Leicester and it seems his defensive abilities have reduced. But he remains an option. A good one if he can replicate seasons ago. |

Diademk07: Xhaka and Coquelin combo won't work though.
Xhaka needs a mobile partner alongside him, not Coquelin. I don't understand what you mean by mobile, but both were used against Leicester. They alternatively pressed high up the pitch. Both would allow Ozil to do less defensive work and more attacking. Another option is Elneny. |

Vs Watford:
I'd love to see Ozil and Giroud back in the starting line up so that Sanchez can drop to LW. We really missed Iwobi's creativity against Leicester which suggested the 0-0 scoreline. Chamberlain was shit, but I don't know which to pick between him and Theo for RW.
Holding looked comfortable close to Koschielny, another run might help him before Mustafi stakes his position.

SailorXY: Rashford knows he has a better shot @ the UCL trophy this season than actually joining Arsenal. One billion players has played in the UCL, how many fingers have touched the ultimate prize?
You better goan bring £45m & collect Phil Jones - that's if Jones won't mind a trophyless career henceforth. Once the window shuts, I pity Wenger this season. Save your pity. We don wan Jonsing we already got Per to pere about. Now we are upgrading. Check our transfer news. |

IZUKWU: Arsenal have had bids accepted today for Mustafi (£35m) as well as Perez (£17m). Total spending on fees this window is now close to £100.Pataki is there any atoms of truth in these reports The prices are ok considering that he is a German international. |

Keky: If you can score 19 at Deportivo, that means you have quality. Imagine the service he'll get with Mesut, Xhaka and Sanchez feeding balls into him. This looks like a good buy but not the world class quality we were promised when we moved to Emirates. Mixed emotions about this signing, but he looks decent. I hope so. What's important for me is that Giroud now has competition or compliment as the case may be. If both can score 18goals each than we can make up for lack of world class. |

Lana1: Where is ur UCL trophy??
I can show u 3 from my club. Chelsea ll show u one. Relegated Aston Villa will show u 1. Even Red Star Belgrade will show u 1.
Show us one from Arsenal. Even if it is half. But u cant. Ur club so useless and irrelevant that it cant produce one single UCL trophy?? The only thing it has to brag about is 19 yrs of attendance. I'm sure even Madrid/Barca dont ve up to 19 yrs of constant UCL. But we know who's boss between those two clubs and Arsenal.
Shout Europa from now till u die. U wont still have any relevance on this board just like ur useless club.
#Olodo360 Win the CL and end in oblivion? You should wear shame as a coat over your face and stop talking nonsense. |
