Man Utd don start again. People don't learn their lessons. After spending over €250mil last season acquiring the likes of Shaw- most expensive English defender, Rojo, Blind, Di Maria, Falcao, Herrera, etc they only managed to finish fourth. Now they are everywhere again, those players will start afresh to blend with the new ones. Unless you are building for the future, two or three quality additions is ok. Same with Liverpool. I wish them luck though. |
Jesus said 'you err because you do not know the scriptures nor its power'. He even gave the teachers of the law a contradictory passage of the scripture which they were unable to explain. (Matt 22:15-46). But until we understand that the Word of God is not mere letters, but actually spirit and life, we get nothing from it. Infact it will sound foolish as many have affirmed here. 'For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God' 1Corin1:18. Though covered in letters (bible), the actual Word is the personality and power behind it. (John 1:1-5; 6:63). Who also have made us able ministers of the new testament, (b) not of the letter but of the spirit; for the letter killeth but the spirit giveth life. (/b) 2Corin 3:6. I can't explain how it works but those whose spirit are receptive to God knows this experience I am talking about. So if you want contradictions you will find many, but those are the letters NOT THE WORD OF GOD. |
bigkesh:I have a huge respect for JM because he is a winner. He brings practicality and realism to football coaching. But Mou usually have frosty relationships with club owners- Abram, Morratti, Perez. That is because he makes huge demands that they are unwillingly to meet, he can't play without the best and forces the owners to go against their books to buy thereby leaving them in a financial mess. Check what happened to Inter after Mou left- they haven't recovered till date. Yes he is a great tactician but that doesn't mean he is indispensible. Currently Abram is not ready to splash any cash, he has a stadium to build, therefore Mou has to sell to buy. If he wants longevity at Chelsea (as I believe he does), then he has got to build his own future. If any Chelsea fan doubts me then put forth your reasons but don't insult me. I want to be bornagain. |
lordfalcao:Based on his pedigree, I think it is a great steal. But on current form, he comes with a risk- you never know who will be the next Shevi or... Falcao! |
tayoccu:Wenger says he wants to determine the fitness of the players before deciding if he would sign. Apparently he has no plan to buy. |
nonsoroyalty:Man you haven't seen bigkesh. If you do... The dickhead tops. |
bigkesh:The dickhead is. Anu ohia. |
austino24:Hahahahaaaaa, una no go killi me. This laugh na fta laugh. ![]() |
A40:Why would CL chasing Bayern let club hero and national captain leave for €12m? Speaks volumes. There is something they are not telling LvG. |
tayoccu:What about someone who can hold up play like Giroud and can still make those runs like Walcott? Lewandosky, Higuain, Suarez? But they are not available. Wenger has to make one for himself. Welbeck has the potentials but that's just it- potentials. |
bigkesh:Exactly, you are too dumb for me to exchange banter with. Sad thing is there isn't any other dumb person here to replace you. |
@Proudlysports, I really like your analysis, it shows good knowledge of the game. I will like you to react on the availability of strikers that meet your spec taking note of their prices and willingness to leave their present clubs. |
bigkesh:You are one of those fledglings who are of the Mourinho era, who know nothing about the mechanism of the game- clouded by sentiments. You open your mouth to spill rubbish and get offended when corrected. Any true Chelsea fan knows that you are a dummy. |
bigkesh:Your breath stinks. hahahahaaaa! E be like say body dey pain you. You go faint again and when you wake up, remember to go hug transformer. Nwa mkpi. ![]() :p:* |
safex:Hahahahaaaaa! Nobody wan subscribe Dove tv or TBN? |
bigkesh:JM can't buy unless he sells. Abram will not release money. He either sells to raise funds or promote from within. Re: Luis and De Bruyne for Fab and Costa, Shurrle for Cuadrado, etc. He wishes to sell Oscar or Cuadrado and Salah or any of those academy boys. He is also raising money from loan deals. So wait till something happens. |
proudlysports:Surely Chambers is an option but I feel he is down the pecking order. Apart from Benzema and Higuain (that's not mentioning the big ogas) I do not see any striker that meets our demand. Worse is even those two are not available unless you want to spend mad. Besides they are not that better than Giroud. I remember that game against Everton with Sanchez playing 9, I pity the guy as he was just running around without ball for 45mins. Wenger noticed it and pulled him out at half time for Giroud who came in and scored the equaliser. Since then Sanchez had been deployed to the wings where he clearly excelled. Giroud is that good but gets little credit because of his style. The screamers against Man Utd and Liverpool, and that beautiful side kick at the FA cup final show his class. If he can add a little consistency this season he can do the business for us. AW should give him competition from Walcott. |
Chestar5:The man wey snatch another man wife. ;> |
naijababe:Wilshere plays DM for England. Ramsey had the backup role for us last season at Arteta's absence. They aren't specialist but can do a decent job if committed. Both though prefer attacking roles. |
Akpom has got the confidence and skill to take on defenders, he only needs to improve on his positional awareness and calmness in front of goal. I think he will be a better striker than Walcott. I strongly doubt whether AW will spend on a DM after giving Arteta an extension. He also has Flamini, Wilshere, Ramsey and Chambers who can all be back ups for Coquelin. The team surely needs a good striker that is better than Giroud, who can assure us of at least 25goals per season. Problem is there are few out there; truth is they are not available, no not one. |
Nihilist:Juve is the dominant gene in Italy. Seria a promises to be interesting next season with the Milan clubs spending big to challenge Juventus. |
bigkesh:We won the cup too dickhead, and we will win the double this season. |
bigkesh:Well Arsene did punch Jose last season. What did Jose do? ![]() |
bigkesh:Let me educate your ignorance, why Abram sacked Jose after his first stint. Abram had wondered why despite that London neighbours Arsenal spend little, have a bigger stadium, have fewer big names; yet pull more crowds than Chelsea. He believed it must have been the negative football Jose plays. So Abram said change your pattern or get out. Mou actually change his pattern but Chelsea found itself at 10th position after 12 games. So Abram sacked him. |
bigkesh:He didn't just leave England, he got SACKED. Get it? Sacked at Chelsea, sacked at Inter, sacked at Madrid. Why? 'How can you spend all my money yet come out to brag about being special. My money is special not you, so f*** off my club'.- Abrahamovic. 'Don't call me the special one again, abeg make una call me the happy one make oga no vex'- Jose Bwahahahahaha... |
bigkesh:You can't explain cos you have monkey brain. |
Goal.com- Napoli rejects Arsenal's €60m bid for Higuain. Them dey craze!? Wenger no vex try another person. What nonsense! |
akplatnum2005:Exactly, e be like say you dey reach that side. Guy man! |
bodetheo:Near Iyana Ipaja, Oman spot and pepper soup joint. I think I know the place. |
AirborneLacer:You mean West London. |
pickabeau1:I think that in choosing the best coaches, one of the criteria should be ability to work within limited budget. I tell you, the likes of Tony Pulis, Alan Pardew, and even David Moyes will finish ahead of Mourinho. Give me £200million every year and a ready made team and tell me why I wouldn't give you EPL 10 straight years. But these guys take a quack team out of relegation yet get no credits. Yes after Fergie, it's Arsene, after which it is not Jose. |
Top Three Managers In EPL 1. Alex Fergusen 2. Arsene Wenger 3. Jose Mourinho Criteria used include titles, longetivity, points per game, etc. (Source: Sky sports) |
