Leyqute: "They are buying the title". Mourinho already has an excuse for not winning the EPL next season.
As if the majority of the titles he's won wasn't achieved with the use of expensive players. Hypocrite.
One thing I like about him though, he doesn't wait to be sacked. He quits. Sarcastic. Hehehe |

Nihilist: Just as long as you agree that Arsenal are now trying to buy the title, the rest of the rubbish you typed up there is of no relevance to me. Fact is when Arsenal with Arsene and Man Utd with Fergie were winning titles in the '90s they weren't buying they were grooming; Chelsea and Mou spoilt the broth Man City followed suit and now Man Utd with LvG have joined the queue. Funny enough LvG has always been an advocate of home grooming. Even Rodgers is buying in his own mumu way too. #Pressure |

proudlysports: Another good game. First half was a bit slow but things picked up in the second half.
1. I'm even more convinced Rene isn't too far from the first team. He may even get a loan move this season. His level at 17 is higher than that of our current youth academy.
2. I think Theo should just be content with playing from the right. He is a great finisher IMO but playing from the center is too much pressure. Good CBs will easily mark him out. He needs to think quick
3. I still maintain Akpom isn't ready for first team and keeping him in the first team (most likely on the bench or out of the team) won't help his career. I expect him to go on loan before November.
4. Giroud on his own won't be enough for the whole season.
5. IF we don't win the league this season, we'll be very close Brilliant thoughts. |

Nihilist: If you agree with the first part of Mou's statement....then you must agree with the second part too which was:
"Now, they are buying the title. All of them, they are buying the title.
"It is up to us to be strong and to fight them and, obviously, to try and win it again, even without the big investments."
End of all arguments. This season will therefore define Mou's class; if he had been cheating his way all the while. Again I smell fear in his voice- he is about to go extint. My thoughts though, I may just be wrong. |

We have Barca on Wed in the midnight. Then Community Shield against Arsenal on Sunday. And then Fiorentina on Wednesday. Then the season starts either on Sunday or Monday for us. (Not sure on the particular day) But the lads should have enough rest to face Arsenal. |

pazienza: Selective amnesia. Sanogo scored 3 against Benfica in this same tournament last season!
Arsenal still needs a better striker than Giroud, there is no getting away from that. That's where we get it wrong. It's not just about the goals, it's the all round play, the synergy, the blend and stability in the team. As we have observed and as I mentioned earlier, anyone can score in Arsenal so the strikers job is beyond just scoring. He should also create the space for others to score, and that's exactly what Giroud brings into the fray, that is why it is difficult for AW talkless of you to find a better player that can offer more. Not that there isn't but they are not available. Giroud is the best we can have for now. Love him or loath him, he will always kiss the crest at the corner flag. Girouuuuuud! |

Roland17: My bro
I have followed the argument religiously, WOBS are definitely not innocent but it's about respecting opinions and arguing objectively and not name calling because perspectives are different or who should be considered the perfect Arsenal FC fan, I am a very passionate fan of Arsene Wenger and like I stated earlier, I believe he is still the best coach for the team but anyone who differs still has my respect in writing and argument. I concur to your opinion. Some people just enjoy attacking people rather than issues. If one makes a comment it is left for others to either agree or object with reasons rather than rendering insults. Nevertheless I think the guy you quoted is also of the same opinion. Thanks. |

Freelancer00: Remember the EPL rules, 25 players 8homegrowns plus 17 others. Its not easy to buy or sell, its not like football manager. As for Son heung min, he's not needed at all when Ox+Walcott+Welbeck are there. Even Wilshere, Ozil and Ramsey can do the job. |

edoyad: Abeg abeg abeg, critical analysis and less of these polygamous home squabbles. Wenger wanting Karim is one thing, but do Madrid want to let him go ? If They sell him to us then who replaces him ? There aren't any super strikers out there at the moment. Exactly, one of the constraints of getting the players you want. I have this feeling AW will settle for Giroud, his new contract confirms this. I may be wrong though, infact I hope I am wrong. |

How much has liverpool spent so far btw the last three seasons? What do dey hv to show for it?
Your neighbor spurs nko? What have they won with all their spendings?
And with the money wengay miserly squeezed out to buy ozil ,sanchez, girould n co. Where is the league title to show for it?
You sure chat alot of rubbish for one who is trying extremely hard to sound intelligent.

sod09: now pls compare d players in those glory days to dis so called new generation.....den football was more difficult, crazy opponents... Den AW has more Dan enough goal poachers, good keeper with defense...no nonsense dm inshort d squad were just invincible.. Wat do we av now welbeck, wilshere, sanogo etc Which of d present squad can be compare to overmars, Adams, petit, viera, Giovanni, kanu, Henry, pires etc Even wen Roy Keane wan finish viera D team in d glory days always learn from mistake...is it d same wit dis presence after all day also get injure I always pray for febuary not to come cos I know its a disaster month The difference is not the players. Players don't change what changed was the coaching technique. Then players were more physical- Vieira, Petit, nowadays players are more technical- Ozil, Cazorla. Again, then there were no Russian or Arab oil money. Coaches built their own success. Today, any nincompoop can win the league with dollar resources. I tell you give me £200million pounds every year and I will give you league titles 10 years consecutively. The invincibles you talked about took years to develop, I remember Wenger predicted it 2years before it happened. The year it happened Wenger signed only one player- Jens Lehmann. Stability not additions. |
