Dubbery did the right thing by moving on. I wish him well in his career. For me Duberry is foolish to leave. I mean there is a big hole in the team (a backup for Saka) that has not been filled and the club may be considering him and yet he wants to leave. Mumu. Where will he go self? Highest he will join Forrest and after two seasons max they will be relegated. Saka that they are envying had to start at left back. Arsenal that can afford a 50m backup will not miss him at all. |

Only for the guy to tell her that he is going to kill her, stab her to death and that he'll kill himself too after. I wouldn't have been bothered by the threats if not for the fact that the said guy is a very mentally unstable person, i don't even know how he got my sisters number. He lives in our street literally knows where we live. I don't think my sis is safe will such person on the loose and we're considering reporting the threats to the police, but the thing now is that they might release him later since he hasn't committed any serious offence and i don't want my sister to be the one he kills before he goes to jail for good..
nlfpmod Mynd44 farano OAM4J Dominique 1. Trace the guy's family. Meet his parents and inform them of the threats. 2. Report the matter to the police but don't lock him. The police will invite him and do their job. 3. Relocate your sister. 4. Alert the neighborhood. Especially the local security or vigilante group to keep an eye on the guy. The good thing you are doing is that you are not taking the threats lightly. |

mostob: Gbam! That's the point o. Jo.de.ra said something about having strong and reliable bench for next season. I don't see how promoting academy players who are untested will help us achieve this. The likes of Nelson, Trossard, Kiwior, etc needed playing time. Others like ESR, Partey, Jesus that got injured and recovered needed playing time to gain full fitness. The team itself needed more minutes to blend with each other. There was no way Arteta was going to leave all these for academy players that don't want to wait for their time. Very soon now after the Euros, clubs will begin preseason training and friendlies. That's a good time to prove to the manager that he can be a good backup. Forget some of these academy players know that they can't challenge the senior boys and so may want to leave. If they believe in themselves let them stay and convince the coach. No matter how stubborn you think the Coach is, one day he will need you and call you to warm up. That's how Trossard started seeing games ahead of Martinelli and Kiwior ahead of Zinchenko etc. Even Deschamps had no choice but to invite Saliba even if it means playing him out of his usual position. |

Jodera: Lol.. You're mistaken what I said. I never said nutrition is a golden rule to avoid injuries, I just said it helps to avoid recurring injuries like the one of dem diaby and presently Tierney. Nutrition and good physios and training regimen would help improve such limitations (the thin bones thin muscles examples you gave). The way you're making it sound, it's as if nothing can be done once those players have that limitations, they're unfortunately left to themselves and we need to unfortunately "accept it". That's not what I'm agreeing to
Injuries is part of football no doubt but when it's getting too much and frequent then something needs to be done. And for something that needs to be done, it's up to the individual to make it work cos they're strict disciplines for one to undergo. That's just my point.
Thank goodness you brought the example of Wenger. Since he introduced that nutrition regimen into their diet, it was claimed that arsenal players mostly hardly go into injuries and they were more fitter and faster. It was like that in years 2000(or so), Arsene bragged the he saw himself going unbeaten in the league which he did. And even at that, some players still secretly violated the rule (I think Ray parlor or so claimed to always sneak in ketchup that was banned and he have a secret agreement with one of the kitchen staff)
That's to tell you the power of nutrition. Then add training routines/regimen and good physios. Then add discipline.
Tell me why a player with such limitations won't improve? How does that nullify that not all people are built for sports? Have you seen thin bones before? I mean really thin bones and muscles 😂 like that of Sylvester in my area? Lol 😂 Bros, no nutrition go save Silve if those bones break. Lol 🤣 |

Jodera: On the question you asked, Go and read about Messi. (Especially his growing up) Also read about Dembele in Barca. How his indiscipline caused him to be having injuries 24/7. At a point, they even have to appoint personal chef for him to be doing a laid out planned meals/nutrition for him but he doesn't follow it and sometimes still eat foods that were not recommended (pizza mostly). Also he reportedly doesn't sleep enough due to him playing video games at night. All these things were the cause of his incessant injuries that I'm even surprised how Barca still put up with him for years Are you wondering now that he's married and calm, he suddenly stop getting recurring injuries from his last years at Barca up to now at PSG? I guess his body was suddenly "built for football"
I also gave you another example of Partey saying he'll cut down on noodles last season (beginning of 22/23 season) and miraculously, he played and was available for most of the season.
Tbh, it's very very difficult to follow such nutrition strictly. Lol 😂 The way you talk about nutrition as if it's the golden rule to avoiding injuries. See my note below. Meanwhile... 1. Why don't you tell me what happened to Messi. 2. What injury did Dembele have and how does that relate to not built for sports. 3. When did Partey start having injuries? When he started eating noodles or when he began old and his muscles could no longer cope? Which one? Notes I agree that nutrition and training helps players to stay fit. Wenger used to insist on placing players on boiled chicken for muscular protein. That may have worked but it obviously didn't work for Diaby and RVP. So while nutrition helps, that does not mean that any player that has recurring injuries, is not taking nutrition and training seriously. That will be an exaggeration and an insensitive allegation. Secondly, science and technology helps. But it can only help you if there's something to build upon. A player who naturally has thin bones or muscles will always struggle with rigorous sports compared to those with thick muscles and bones. This is a fact you must accept. Science may help strengthen the muscles but it will not be like when it is natural. Example is use of steroids. |

Jodera: While I get your point but I think we're talking two different things but still I'll address the bolded.
For the first bolded, Clubs isn't a type of slave trade to players. Remember, this players are under contract so you can't slash their salary just because they have injury or don't follow nutrition regimen(except where stipulated otherwise which is very very rare). While club will do their best, but it's still up to the individual to try and improve or better themselves if possible. Players job is just to be available on the pitch and give their all. Sure, club will make the environment and facilities great for training and all but it's still up to the players to take personal responsibility to improve and discipline themselves. No club will babysit you like say you dey pry school. Remember say na adults you're dealing with. Rich adults for that matter.
As for the second bolded, thankfully Whites don't just "accept" it. I'm talking about improvement in fitness and ways whereby a player won't be having recurring injuries frequently. While I admit everybody's body is different but Science and technology have made those whose body is fragile to be stronger than how it ought to be. The said player just needs to put in the work. Remember, nobody will force dem to put in the work highest it's just to advise and do recommendation. With all those money and plenty enjoyment, it's not easy for most of these "fragile" players to be disciplined enough to see it through. Dembele Is a very big/good example. You think the clubs will thousands of dollars weekly and not control your diet or training regime? Bros it's not slavery, it is like you rushing to make it to office before 8am. You have emphasised so much on the bolded. In fact that's a definite statement. Now I am going to ask you to give me one 'science and technology' example that makes people who are not to be built for sporting activities. |

Jodera: You mean that with the advancement of nutrition, science and technology, those things can't be improved on or downright mitigated?? You believe that that will still be a limitation to players in this day and age?
I've read about most players who are mostly injury prone and one thing I realized is that most of them aren't putting in the work or making the sacrifices they need to make. It's not easy cos most will cut off most foods they cherish which they wouldn't want to AND also do more work to strengthen their bones, than what the average footballer do. Forget Steroids you gave cos that's even banned in sports
I remember reading on Partey beginning of last season (not this season that just passed) saying he will cut down on his noodles (cos he loves noodles well) and also do more of the recommended exercise so that he would tackle his recurring injuries that have plagued him consistently at arsenal. Do you think Partey being fit for most part of 2022/23 is just luck or coincidence? Dembele (ex Barca player) is another good example cos this is someone who didn't follow Barca's dieting to prevent injuries.
There are ways to combat that bolded if one is unfortunately affected by it. One just needs to put in the work and do the necessary sacrifices.
I don't believe in this day and age, a good player " whose body is not built for high level football" still exists. Tierney should try and work on himself. Cut out some foods(that might trigger injury) if possible and get the best physios. He shouldn't just allow his talent to waste in his prime. I am not saying that's the case with Tierney or any of those players you mentioned even though it could be. If diet or training regime was the simple solution, you think those players won't be pointed out? You think the club's won't cut their salaries whenever they violate the diet rules or get injured? The fact about body make up is a scientific proven one. It's like school work. Some people are not just wired for school while some are. No technology or modern science as if today will make an slowpoke become a genius. No science will make a 6foot man become 4feet or vice versa. Some people naturally have veins on their skin while some have theirs inside. These things are natural. Some players only need push ups to have stamina while some no matter what they do will not get to that level. Some players can run for 90mins while some can't. Have you wondered why Nigeria is the best in Africa in sprints but Kenya and Ethiopia are the best in long distance? You think it's training and diet only? We just have to accept it. |

Jodera: It's so sad. I also think all these fragile players needs to watch their diet cos I don't believe in this time, age and invention, one's body won't be "built for sport".
One of the reasons Saka says he's durable is because he cut(completely stopped) eating pizza, Sugars (like Cakes, fizzy drinks and all) and also careful with the kind of food he takes.
Ronaldo lasting in the game for long too is the most popular example and inspiration about dieting. Most of these players should imbibe these into their sporting lives. I know it won't be easy but it's the sacrifice they need to make at least to last in the game.
If na person like Partey wey don old, it's understandable but not Prime Tierney. It's just so sad he's always breaking down recurrently, I just hope he does something about it. You are right about diet. But that is for people who are already fit. Just as people have bow legs or k legs etc, some people's muscle structure cannot withstand the rigours of sports especially at that high levels. Many of them take steroids just to catch up which itself becomes detrimental in their future. Some have the brain to play football but not the brawn. |

How will it be that an Epl best player can't break into England squad? Like not only a Man City starter but current Epl best and league winner. Such player is considered a squad player because of balance? I've never heard of such sha and I doubt the Fa will take it lightly if Southgate does such. It's not easy at all for a coach to bench him, no matter the reason he wants to give. Bellingham winning La liga best player even compounds matter.
Southgate should just play him and Bellingham in midfield. Forcing him out on the wings (not even his favorable wing sef) will not do both England and Foden any favor Thank you jare. If Southgate can't find a role for Foden he will be criticised, and if he dare loses he is in soup, it's very simple. I remember it was a debate some weeks ago. |

mostob: Let me divide everything for you and move.
1. Your bolded is contradictory. Balance has nothing to do with best players. You can try to fit all your best players in the same lineup and an inferior team will beat your team mercilessly.
2. Saka and Salad are inverted wingers by your definition but both are different type of player. Arteta may play him as a wide forward in future but for now, he is a winger. The only wing forward I our team in Martinelli that's why we wanted Arteta to play him as a striker sometimes back.
3. All your examples didn't follow. The teams you mentioned were able to find balance and at the same time fit in their best players in the team. Can you say the same about England?
4. Kovacic is not an AM!!!!! Your number 1 and number 3 especially the bolded part are different. As for your question about England, I think you are living in denial because England has all her best players fitted into the first team. I gave you several examples and you lie that they don't fit in and I am like I thought you were going to give me one example of a country that does not play all their best players in their first team. Even the Serbia I am watching now has Vlahovic and Mitrovic both strikers in their team. Even Tadic is playing as a no10. It's easy to just call someone's observation contradictory without providing any evidence simply because you can type. I challenge you to give me one example. |

mostob: When you have a close to star-studded team in which every players are on top of their game, what you as a coach should consider first is balance.
Lionel Scaloni couldn't take Dybala to Copa America. Sometimes, we have seen Dybala and Lautaro Martinez sitting in the bench. Why? There must be balance.
The formation you proposed here can't work please. Saka is a winger, a proper winger at that.. not a wide forward. First of all Saka is not a proper winger. At bestbhebis inverted. An inverted winger is a forward. A proper winger is like a midfielder. That said, I am not against balance. I am simply saying that whatever you do you must accommodate your best players. National team football is not club football where you get all you want. In national team it's what's available so you try to maximise it. That's what makes you a national team coach. Let me use Scotland as an example. They have two class left backs. In Tierney and Robinson. They have to play both of them. That's why they play a bac three so Tierney plays as a half CB. Another example is Croatia that just finished playing. They have to clash AM in Kovacic and Modric. They played both of them. If your best players are two strikers, play a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2. When Mexico had Forlan and Suarez they played both. The only way you can avoid this is if both are GKs. |
