Queencyco: If you're talking about filling out your online application, then I don't think there's a place for university address. There's only a part for name of institution. The only address I'm aware of is your own address, where you would want them to mail your report to. The University email, address and phone number is contained in your transcript, so if they need to reach them, they can get the info from there.
Just follow the step by step application procedure on the website and you'll be fine.

careerwoman: Silent reader, been here since 2016. Glory to God!! Wrote ielts on 23rd May (1st attempt). LRWS 8.5/9/7.5/7.5 I started preparing two weeks to the exam with intense practice 5 days to the test day. I used Jay’s YouTube videos for speaking (this didn’t help me that much on test day especially in Part 1 and 3), ielts made easy pdf for writing (finished the book in one sitting), practice questions on ielts-up.com for listening and reading (I love this website because the practice texts were well simulated and this made me very comfortable on test day) Listening and Reading were my strongholds. I practiced with 30mins for Reading so on the test day, I finished within 40mins.
Reading technique I employed: I read the questions first, then skim and scan for the paragraphs with the key words in the question. It proved very effective on test day.
Listening: Maximum concentration and knowledge of a wide range of synonyms.
Writing: I wrote only two essays before my test just because I was too lazy to write anything. However, I read a wide range of essays and articles online and in a Cambridge book (Band 9 essays, can’t remember the exact name) I also read ielts made easy and learnt how to incorporate linking phrases and all. On test day, my paragraphing was really poor but I think I wrote fairly well as that was the only thing I was worried about.
Speaking: I was very anxious and time flew very fast. I was in despair after the test because I really didn’t expect the questions. Finally, I PRAYED and PRAYED.. I’m Catholic so I did a novena to St. Joseph of Cupertino. That exam prayer does work wonders!! Currently awaiting ECA from MCC..
CRS: 456 (single, recent graduate, 1yr work experience) praying for ITA to locate me when I’m ready. Thank you Jesus Wow... This is impressive. I and my wife are planning to write in few weeks time. I will appreciate if you can send me your IELTS material through my mail (seunquadri@yahoo.com) or at least try and get me the exact name of the book you mentioned. One of our result verification will be from University of Ibadan, do you have a reliable contact over there? |

Queencyco: Wow, this is really a testimony for me. Let me start doing my press ups ready to dive into the pool. If it's really my ECA report coming then it was pretty fast, just 10 weeks processing time. My hubby's own is 13 weeks old and no show. My God is awesome... It's not my ITA or PPR yet but I'm already dancing shekere Hello, I just want to double check so i won't make mistake. Do i need to input the University address when filling the form? |

Hello Wip7 , Hello Everyone. I am new here and need your contribution(s). I did my MSc (Civil Engineering) in Water and Environment Engineering (WEE) option but due to the nature of my job and my experience over the years, i now have a flair for Highway Engineering and will love to take it further by pursuing a PhD in Highway Engineering.
Is it possible to be admitted using my Msc (WEE) into PhD(Highway Engineering) or i MUST go for another MSc in Highway Engineering before i proceed to my Phd Studies?
I will be expecting your reply(ies).
Thank you. |

kasiem: It's no longer debatable whether buhari is sick or not cos his wife and Joe igbokwe have both confirmed it. So, now if the pressure the apc people are forcing him to undergo inorder to cover their selfish interest causes this man to die, who would be blamed for this? Would the hausas be compensated by dropping osibanjo? In fact, what will happen? I still don't get why Buhari's health is an issue. We all live and end up dying one day, so whats the big deal? If he dies, we all move on. Death is not determined by age alone, don't be surprised if this man still inhale oxygen himself for the next 15 years. Back to his health, as long and he is mentally and physically fit, if he wins, i believe he can make a reasonable change. For those that give excuse like he is not strong, will he go to Aso rock to carry Bags of cement? #SaiBuhari |

Family › Re: Advice:He Wants Me To Leave Our 6months Old Baby With His Mum And Travel To Work by squad1: 1:32pm On Dec 23, 2014 |
Juzzybabe: Here is my story...before he proposed,i had relocated to ghana to join my family,my husband who is based in Dubai proposed and i accepted knowing that I will come back to Nigeria for the wedding and stay with him wherever he is,as agreed by both of us.Before our wedding,my husband asked me when will I love to start having kids,I told him few years after our wedding because I needed to work as well to support him. He disagree and said he is getting old(6years difference),that he wants to leave me pregnant on returning to Dubai after the wedding, after which he would send for me,i agreed. When we both arrive Nigeria for our wedding,I asked him again if he was really ready for kids,he said yes, after we had had series of unprotected intimacy,he one day said hope I am taking precaution o because he has thought about what I said about having kids later and he thinks thats best. So I asked how will he say such a thing knowing well that am likely to be pregnant already? I asked him if I should take pills to avoid the pregnancy while it may still be early he said no that he's only kidding.he repeated again that he really want kids now. So we agreed,I miss that month but the very wedding month, indeed he left me pregnant. Since then my husband has been battling with me over the issue and many other making life unbearable for me.He left me to stay with his parents and told his parents he can't sent for me now because he didn't plan for the pregnancy,he told them he warned me to wait but I forcefully got pregnant. I tried explaining to his parents what actually happened but they believe all their son tells them over mine.My stay with my Inlaws has not been funny at all,it's been difficult but I try to make myself happy considering my condition.i asked my husband after the child is born what will be his plans for me? He said I will look after the baby for 6months then leave the baby with his mum and come to Dubai to work.i disagree and we started arguing but I had to let the case die as my pregnancy was still in its early stage. Now am approaching delivery,my husband has refused to rent an apartment for me to stay alone,so I asked him again, what is his plan for me and the coming baby as I will not like to remain staying with his parents after my baby gets strong,I advice he rent us a place to stay or let me go and join my mum if he is not ready to have me and the baby around him.he refused and insisted that his plan has not changed which is,I will give birth after 6months, leave the baby with his mum and travel to Dubai to work. I still refused.i told him I want to raise my kids myself and not to abandon my baby with his mum all in search of green pasture. I told him if catering for us is too much for him then he should let me work or seek help from my family. Even tho the baby is yet to be born but when the baby is born, and this issue arises,my mother and father inlaw will support their son in whatever decision he takes, that is why I want to start planing ahead. Note:My husband is averagely ok,but he falls under the category of men that are extremely careful with every kobo they earn and spend. A 7 months old marriage and expecting our first issue.friends,am trying to keep my marriage but not at the expense of my unborn baby. Please give me a candid advice on what to do. Hello, Though, i only heard one side of the story, i still strongly believe that no matter what, DONT LEAVE YOUR CHILD and travel abroad. Well, leaving your husband alone over there also is not advisable. The best bet is for you to travel with ur child and also work there. Leaving ur child is very dangerous. I know how it feels. Dont end up looking like a stranger to ur child. |

One of the few things to be a priority for u right now should be graduating with at least a minimum of 2-1 in school if u cant make a First Class. This wil increase ur chance of getting a job later in future. For now, score as many A's as possible to increase ur GP. Ur IT should be in an IT firm, money should not be ur main priority for now, u need experience in ur field as much as possible. The idea of going to a bank is nt cool. Forget the financial benefits involved. Start thinking of doing professional courses (Java, Oracle, Cisco) u can ask those in ur field of study. Read, yes Read!!! Read as much as u can. Make it a habit. Novels, Journals, Educative Blogs/websites, Books, Biography/AutoBiography of people of ur interest etc. It opens the mind and give u the opportunity of seeing things in diff perspective and get ideas. We do lot of things that does not really worth it nowadays, I am very sure reading is not one of them. Ask Questions from experienced people. Try and get in touch with a nairalander, his monicker is Jarus , he is someone I really respect his judgement, he operates a blog www.jarushub.com , I believe he can be of help. Calm down, Everything is gonna be alright, if u panic too much, u wil lose focus and confidence in ursef and dat is not wat u need right now. |
