Pls do. I called home office UK yesterday and home office Abuja today. I was told that d delay was due to back log of work and shortness of staff due to huge staff cut off during the lock down.
Its not TLS that makes visa decision. Its ukvisa. So I sent them a paid mail enquiry to ask why my passport was returned without a decision taken. Am awaiting their reply

I did the biometrics on 16th March at Ikeja. Up till now the tracking keeps showing "Received at DMC". Please, is there anyone with a similar situation? And, is there anything I can do about this situation?
Yea. We are in d same shoes. Mine is still showing "received at DMC". Biometric is 19th or 18th march. It has taken too long that I can't even remember the date again.

Applied for visa in March before lockdown after all the waiting and delay, I finally for my visa today.

Tier 2 General Visa
90 days entry vignette

It had been issued since the 11th of August, 2020. Thank God I was worrying them and it finally came.

All those still waiting, yours will come out this week.

Congrats man. Did your status change on your tracker to "application transferred to VAC" or it was still showing "application at DMC" until u collected your passport today.

And were u sent a mail to come pick it up today or u just went to the office on your own and found it there?

This DJ came with too many songs. She wants to exhaust her entire play list with the little time she has. That's why she is jumping from song to song

Yes u right !

I don’t mind if you can help me out pls

This is affecting everyone trying to pay for UK visa fee
I live at Ajegunle bus-stop

No na. How can u pay money into a complete strangers account? U no dey fear? Contact your friends, school mates, siblings or anyone u trust. Lots of people have zenith bank accounts with atm. They are everywhere.

No i haven’t
I don’t have Zenith or fcmb account

I have been trying to find someone with any of the 2 banks... no one want to drop is bank details, it’s really frustrating !!!

You know its not easy to get someone to give u his/her bank details. Its actually an unwise decision if the person agrees to give u. Except the person is family
So it will be easier for you to give the person your logon details and transfer the money to the person. He/she makes d payment for you and then u can later change your password to your account.
Just a suggestion though.

Hello iyatrustee for 3 days now, i have been trying to make payment for my UK visa fee with my GTbank domiciliary account, but due to the new policy by CBN; transaction more than $100 won’t go

Have u tried our normal local ATM cards? That's what I used to make payment during my application. Normal Zenith bank ATM card.

I just tracked now, and it is still with DMC. I have sent another mail to ukvi. It is frustrating. What about you?

Please What's the approximate naira equivalent they charge for a paid email enquiry?
Judging from your post, it seems u have sent mail to them twice now

Mine is still "application received by DMC"
Date of biometric capture was march 18th

And the funny part is that he caused the problem himself.

This thread is not MBA customer service where people come to cry and post threats about closing account.

All MBA issues ought to be directed to MBA, not nairaland.

Abeg u guys should free this guy and cut him some slack. Why are u all attacking him? This is an online forum where people should share both good and bad sides of every story.
At least we all can learn from his mistake and would prevent such errors from reoccurring to an ardent follower of this thread in the future.
He made a mistake and has owned it. Let's try to support him and encourage him instead of the backlashes. Crying over the loss of 414k in this present condition of Nigeria is worth it in all ramification.
Am very sure if he was able to reach the online customer çare team, he won't have brought the issue here. And the fact they put a number there and people call and they refuse to pick can be very frustrating. It will compound the problem and begin to raise doubts in one's mind

Does supporting documents for a Tier 2 visa apply expire or become invalid? If it becomes then it is nobody’s fault. They should not treat it like it’s our fault. I have had to resign because of the job and it’s not been easy.

I understand your plight bro. Let's hope for a +ve feedback from them this week. I don't really know much about tier 2 visa. This is even my very first application

What is your tracker saying? What stage is it on?

I'm seriously fed up! Is it a crime to apply in March? They're yet to clear backlogs, yet new applications are being given priority.

Taking a decision on our application is now very difficult cos some of our supporting documents may no longer be valid. And their reason for travel is no longer feasible. The 5months break has changed a lot. Myself for example applied for a business training that was to hold ending of march/beginning of April. That has long passed, so its not easy for them to decide whether to grant or not to grant.
For the new guys applying, their own is straightforward and much easier.
Anyway am still hopeful to get my visa. My training will be rescheduled. For now no new date has even been fixed

It is a tough time with many people whose application were submitted for review in the month of March. After 5 Months, people are still waiting and hoping to get their passport returned with Visa granted. I submitted my application March 16 shortly before lockdown. Sometimes in the Month of May I sent a mail to UKVI through a paid service and got a reply that my passport is safe and secure. Recently, I sent a reminder and was informed am going to get escalated attention and should expect response in 15 working days and the next day I got another message from SITEL which I attached here for information. I will like people with similar experience to share what outcome they got from the process.

We fall under the same category. Mine has been since march 18th. I didn't bother contacting them to know the outcome. I will just wait for them to take their time to process it. Provided they give me the visa at the end of the day. Its a 2years standard business visa

Thank you so much...you have any idea for those at the "Application Received By DMC" stage, biometrics done same 12th March for visit visa.

Also does anybody know if Nigerians are required to isolate 14days on arrival in UK cos i have to factor that into my hotel reservation.

Thanks for the feedback
Is yours standard business visit visa? I did biometrics on march18th and mine is still in "application received by DMC". I was to go for training and the time has now passed. So probably they expect us to reschedule the training date. I won't be surprised if they send a mail asking for new LOI reflecting a new training date. This is my first application though
