I schooled at UNIBEN, lived on campus (halls 2, 3 & 4), never had any cult related issues. I visited Ekosodin on a number of occasions but always in the company of two of my friends who were living there at that time. We were classmates in secondary school way back in Lagos then, I thought they were still the innocent classmates I knew in Lagos not knowing they were cultists on campus. The closest I had was when one of those two friends of mine told me that Aiye was looking for new intakes and I came highly recommended! This was in my 300 level, coupled with the fact that I knew this friend of mine way back in the secondary school. So, instead of freaking out even though my heartbeat was racing, I calmly asked him to explain what he meant by Aiye. This question got him really upset and as he grew angry, I laughed out hysterically and he fumed, saying "this is how you people miss your opportunity" and never spoke to me again that day. This was around 10am on the footpath between Hall 3 and hall 4 unit 2 through the student union building. After that day, I avoided that friend of mine like a plague until I graduated. |

In my thinking, this is meant to prepare a level-playing ground for the Governorship elections in Rivers State next weekend. APC members are doing this to prove to the world that Rivers State is not a PDP state afterall and people should not expect the kind of "landslide" victory recorded by PDP in the presidential elections during the Governorship. 1 Like |

I once had 2 pieces of N200 bills dispensed alongside N1000 bills and counted as N1000 bills at a Firstbank ATM machine in PHC in broad daylight and I immediately went inside the banking hall with a friend who witnessed the whole thing to report to the operations manager of the branch. To my surprise, she blatantly told me it was impossible and just walked away from me. I just shook my head and left the banking hall disappointed. This happened about 3 years ago. |
