This is exactly the trick the enemy uses...condemnation(as a result of the consciousness of sin) but guess what? God's got it all sorted out. Hallelujah. There's a reason Jesus Christ said to Nicodemus in John 3:7

This is because, man born the natural way cannot by himself do what's right because sin is in his DNA. Its the reason the Apostle Paul, after describing same situation as OP mentioned in Rom7:15-End, went on to the next chapter in Rom8:1(you may read to the end) to describe the life of the Man, who is born anew, as the Master, our Lord Jesus stated earlier. Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.

3 For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice],

Now, these three verses hit the point. The man who is born anew in Christ has a new DNA. He is no longer homosapien. I like to call him "HomoGod", that is one with God. HE NO LONGER LIVES BY THE FLESH(Natural life) BUT BY THE SPIRIT(From his spirit). This means he is not subject to and doesn't reason or comprehend things from the natural/feeling(whether good or bad, right or wrong, convenient or inconvenient, well or unwell etc) point of view. Afterall, a spirit doesn't have natural feelings. That's why the latter part of the first verse of Romans 8 describes him as living(controlled) by the dictates of the Spirit. This is because, The Holy Spirit of God now lives in him.

All of the above works on the fundamental but simple principle of the christian "FAITH", which confers automatic everlasting/eternal/ GOD KIND OF LIFE on the one, who "simply" innocently BELIEVES in his heart and CONFESSES with his mouth, that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is Lord over his life. John 3:16. The believing guarantees the "Righteousness of God(God's power and ability to be right or the rightness of God", into that fellow's account. Therefore, that fellow doesn't need to feel right to be righteous. He is righteous because God's Righteousness/Correctness not what man/society says is right, is in his account. The confession part is what a lot of christians like the OP need to cultivate.

The bible says, with the heart, man BELIEVETH UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS, and with the mouth, CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION. See how it is stated in Rom10:10;

10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.

This means, you're already righteous when you believed in Jesus Christ from/with your heart but your voice should also speak out to affirm/confirm your salvation(that you are saved). In other words, say the same thing God has just said about you. Declare you're righteous. Stop calling yourself a sinner.

In other words, don't allow the enemy to keep tricking you with condemnation. Keep confessing and declaring that like Abraham, you have believed God and righteousness has been transferred to your account. You didn't and don't have to work for it, lest any man should boast. It is a gift. Do this long enough and that besetting sin will not have the audacity to hang around you any longer.

This is so that your subconscious is saturated with righteousness consciousness as against sin consciousness,(enemy's trick responsible for repetitive sins). You'll reach a point, where you're so full and conscious of righteousness that you'll know as the Word puts it in 1John 5:13 with SETTLED AND ABSOLUTE KNOWLEDGE, that you already have eternal(incorruptible, endless, God kind of) life as quoted below;

13 I write this to you who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) the name of the Son of God [in the peculiar services and blessings conferred by Him on men], so that you may know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have life, yes, eternal life.

This is something you should have known from the start, by the way. At that point, you'll realise the truth in the scriptures below;

1John 5:18
18 We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over and protects him [Christ’s divine presence within him preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one does not lay hold (get a grip) on him or touch [him].

1John 3:9
9 No one born (begotten) of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, for God’s nature abides in him [His principle of life, the divine sperm, remains permanently within him]; and he cannot practice sinning [/b]because he is born (begotten) of God.

Now, that's the reason the Master said as quoted earlier; John3:7 Marvel not [do not be surprised, astonished] at My telling you, [b]You must all be born anew (from above).

Incidences coincide. The entire nation is in disarray. As usual, our level of national comprehension, programmed into our intellect by the economic situation overrides the bugging queries in our spirit and compels us to accept the status quo, so that we can pursue no further, the destroyers of our nation state. It is extremely difficult for a poor man to get out of his poverty even when he sees wealth basically because, poverty like complacency, is a state of the mind. What happens to an individual is pretty much what he/she believes deeply and ruminates over and over again in one place...the mind.

Therefore, what happens to a nation state is the predominant state of mind of her citizens. The question is...what is the predominant state of mind of our nation state and who determines this consciousness?

What are the youths conscious of at the moment? Where are the ones who had enough balls to contest against the popular candidates in the last election? Where are the intellectuals? Where are the speakers of Queen's English? Where are the under40 CEO's? Where are the young energetic and driven pastors behind the smooth suave operations of the mega and smaller churches in town? Where are the young tech gurus, the BSC holders, the Phd's, the scholars, the young media moguls behind DSTV/GOTV Nigeria, the detectives that can trace incriminating information, the social media influencers, the gospel and secular musicians that are excelling so much worldwide...Where are they?

The usual suspects have already perfected their strategies. Strategies for 2027, not 2023 whilst those who should be driving the country are still ranting on social media.

You're busy sanitizing your hands and locking yourselves in your average cost mansions, when those who should ordinarily be the cab drivers in this entity are busy driving the nation state to nought.

There are democratic governments but this one in Nigeria and much of Africa seems to be DEMONCRAZY.

I experience miracles on a daily too numerous to mention, glory to God in Jesus' Name. Many abound of supernatural sustenance that is even a routine but must not be taken for granted. How else do you explain an entrepreneur getting more consistently engaged(much more than days of free movement) to conveniently work from home and even employ others during the lockdown? That can only be God.

There are also those of supernatural deliverance from destruction, referring to automobile accident, twice. First, when my car skidded off the expressway, after a dangerous overtaking, missing by whiskers a massive rock only to land safely on flat land and coming to a halt after a series of spins. More like a scene out of a Hollywood flick. Yet I came out unscathed. Not even a scratch. That it might be fulfilled; For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

Second was a little over a year ago. Car missed being hit by a trailer from the opposite direction after overtaking a trailer in same lane, which hit my car from behind, forcing it into a spin off the highway and on to a ditch...but got miraculously suspended by a flexible banana/plantain stump/tree and again, I came out with no scratch whatsoever. That it might be fulfilled; For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

What about the many invisible battles I know next to nothing about or the divine health on a daily that God causes us, His kids to experience? I understand that this Miraculous Life is part of the glorious inheritance of a new class/specie of men. These folks aren't homo sapiens but HomoGod....that is OneWithGod...#InUnionWithGod.

They are Born Again Christians. Wouldn't you rather be one?

It all started at babel. If you are familiar with the Bible Story of Nimirod. Nimirod started a kind of religion there in the land of shinar that was in opposition to what the almighty God has set up for mankind from eden. Were he made himself a sort of a god.
The form of religion formed was false and was not approved by the true God.
To Arrow their effort God confused their language and mankind spread out from shinar into every part of the world. The place was called babel or babylon which means confused.
As people spread they carry along their practise and way of worship to the place they went so in eseence false way of worshiping spread out from babylon to the whole World.
So all false religion (that is those religion that carry babilonic doctrines) as a group are called babylon the great.
The book of revelation mentioned her as committing fornication with the kings of the earth. How does she do this? By their playing hand and glove with political leaders mixing religion (christianity) with politics.
How are they drunk with the blood of the holy ones? False religion is responsible for most of the killings of innocent ones who are serving God. For example Jesus was killed by religious leaders.

You seem to know a little but here's what more you need to know. True religion is visiting the fatherless as someone quoted. Now, all those donations and charitable acts you see from organizations are the true definition of religion. The two religions you were taught in school thrive on such practice that gives a form of godliness. They even try to live right by keeping a set of rules, which makes them feel pious. Paul the apostle was near perfect in that light until he met Jesus, same Jesus you seem to believe wasn't religious but think the Faith He established is. Isn't that a contradiction? FYI, Christianity is sharing/partaking of the Divine Nature of God/Jesus Christ. Study your bible again, you'll find it. Its not a religion.

P.S: You can be the most morally upright person in the world, as religionists strive to be, but if you refuse to accept Jesus Christ, its just a waste. You can bet on that.

This thread is replete with crass exhibition of ignorance. Shows how it is folks who think they know actually only ever know what little info they get from school and the media. Awesome definition of the so called wisdom of this world that's at best foolishness, proven by science's very essence. Most scientific laws thrive on the concept of the existence of the reality of the unseen, of which gravity, the electromagnetic waves and other practicable theories evidence. So, let the "religionists" stop classifying Christianity as a part of the trash they learnt in elementary school social studies, for it is not. If anything, its the very foundation on which their glorified science is based. Christianity is "believing in The Universal Creative Divine Intelligence(God/Jesus Christ) and automatically partaking of His Divine Nature. The believing comes first, the experience follows, just what accepted scientific theories prove.
