There is no single abandoned project in Lagos, that is Tinubu's legacy. You cannot say the same for any of the other 36 states (Abuja is a state).

In Delta, instead of clearing the roads of petty traders causing traffic gridlock, they want to build three magnificent flyover in one city at a combined 50-something billion. Northern states too with no traffic are suddenly building flyovers I heard. It is like this is all Tinubu has to offer Nigerians. Useless expensive projects.

Yes, there is a route from Sokoto to Lagos presently, but it is too long! Sokoto and Lagos are directly above each other. They should be connected by the shortest distance.
Was there not an existing bridge over the Niger at Onitsha? Why did the Igbo clamoured for another till they got it?
The Lagos to Sokoto road will also connect Nigeria to Niger! If we can get Niger to import and export more of their goods from Nigeria, more business for Nigerians.

I agree with you. I think Dangote disagreeing with him made give him a juicy position. Dangote has been involved in every government since 1999. Initially Tinubu wanted to show him but it seems he has to succumb.

Lazy minded people will always find something or someone else to blame for their own shortcomings.

War ended but crude oil was so big and had to be moved gradually over decades so they cemented the sharing structure we have used to this day. That's a summary. The war meant the victor dictates the tune and that's why they built so many things around crude oil money.

The structure is the issue. The civil war left such a huge war booty, it couldn't be moved across territories in a year or two so they cemented a structure that guarantees the steady flow of the booty towards the victor. To conceal the status of the victor as the beneficiary of the booty, they declared no victor, no vanquish thing.
That booty, though not fully exhausted yet, has been over-depended upon so much that it can't support the indolent and unproductive victors anymore.

No body seem to agree on how to stop the unproductive arrangement any longer.
