So, i can't believe this. Let her get confirmed bank statement from Access Bank and publish it.

Religion / Re: Is It Right To Give This Type Of Testimony? by StarCj(m): 9:52am On Oct 17, 2016
Genesis2000:
I have been imagining this for some times now.

I knows that testimonies are good, and i have also given my testimonies on several occasions.

But what in a situation whereby you re traveling or going else where and you borded a 14 seaters bus and may God forbid the bus have accident and only you survived. Will you go to church and testify and give thanksgiving?

I have raised this question somewhere before...

Do you think it is proper to do so?

Someone is wondering now, what kind of question is this? And why wouldn't i testify of his goodness upon my life? Hmmm

to this person, ok what if your wife or your only son is involved in that accident, would you still go ahead and testify?

Don't you think that some of these testimonies we hear these days are not really necessary?

Don't you think that such testimony are really selfish and selfcenterdness?

Do you think if Jesus is in a boat and and by accident he lost all his disciples, do you think he will testify for his safety?

We were all leaning anyway. And i stand to be corrected.
Do you think these kinds of testimonies really worth it.

Does any body here has any contrary opinion to these?
Pls let here from you. Thank you.

Religion / Re: Why Did Jesus Curse The Fig Tree? by StarCj(m): 6:34pm On Oct 09, 2016
chinnyness122:
Mark 11:12-14 says,
The next day, as they were coming back from Bethany, Jesus was hungry. He saw in a distance a fig tree covered with leaves, so He went to see if He could find any figs on it. But when He came to it, he found only leaves, BECAUSE IT WAS NOT THE RIGHT TIME FOR FIGS. Jesus said to the fig tree " No one shall ever eat figs from you again!" And His disciples heard Him.

then verses 20-21 says
Early the next morning, as they walked along the road, they saw the fig tree. It was dead all the way down to its root. Peter remembered what happened and said "look, Teacher, the fig tree you cursed has died!"

So my brethren, I ask, because I am not understanding. since it wasn't time for the fig to bear fruits, was He really expecting to see some figs up there? I know every fruit and.plants have their seasons. Is there suppose to be some kinda miracle fruit up there?
Pls someone should explain plz, I want to understand.

# no hating# no cursing#
Mods pls. I need answers

the true is that the fig tree has leaves n it is meant to have fruit with it. instead the tree now become is a hypocrite

itsdumebi:
Officers of the department of state security services(DSS) raided the homes of three federal high court judges today. The officers arrested Justices Adebiyi Ademola in Abuja and Muazu Pindiga in Gombe.

They raided the home of Justice Nnamdi Dimgba who resides at no 32 Samuel Ogbemudia Cresent in the Apo Legislative Quarters of Abuja. Although he was not at home at the time of the raid, the DSS officials reportedly broke down the gates to his house with sledgehammers. Unconfirmed reports say that the raid on Dimgba's home is in connection to his recent ruling on embattled NSA, Sambo Dasuki's arms scandal case.

Pindiga, a former Chairman of the Rivers State Governorship petition tribunal, was arrested on allegations of bribery and corruption.

UPDATE:

The homes of Supreme Court Justices Sylvanus Ngwuta and Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen were also raided.

Politics / Re: Nigeria Has Realised N2.7trn From TSA – Buhari by StarCj(m): 12:23pm On Oct 06, 2016
fulaniHERDSman:
President Muhammadu Buhari says the Treasury Single Account policy has started yielding results.
He said this while reacting to questions at a meeting with members of the Nigerian Community in Saudi Arabia at the Nigerian House in Riyadh on Tuesday evening.

He announced that his administration had introduced a number of policies and programmes aimed at saving the nation’s economy from collapse.

Buhari cited the TSA and the Zero-based Budget as some of the meaningful financial policies that was checking fraud in the system, saying it had started yielding fruitful results.

According to him, “the nation has so far realised over N2.6 trillion” from the newly introduced TSA.

He, therefore, expressed optimism that with the introduction of the single account, the 2016 budget implementation might not record any form of deficit at the end of the financial year.

According to Obi, Anambra has the best road network in Nigeria. I can't say if i agree with this or not cos I've not travelled the whole of Nigeria. But isn't it shameful that commuters in this state with the best road network find it very hard to travel from Onitsha to Enugu on a road that is perhaps the most important in the state? Some will shout federal road, but obi couldn't do anything about that road by his virtue of being very close to the president for years. So shameful. Even Obi is not worth any trust

He build a magnificent roads, I wish that other SOUTH-EAST governors who have been like him. is good to judge yourself at the end of your service

can you summon a President to accept your idea. how sure that he didn't tell that Fool. Do you know how people that told him (GEJ) that. Now PMB ministers and Aids are wasting n looting our money, even that forex scam by most PMB close aids. How many people have told PMB about.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Application Time For N-power Jobs & Training Programmes by StarCj(m): 1:34pm On Aug 02, 2016
presidency:
APPLICATION TIME FOR N-POWER JOBS & TRAINING PROGRAMMES EXTENDED FOR ANOTHER MONTH TO WIDEN OPPORTUNITY

In order to pull in more potentially qualified candidates and expand the opportunity base around and across the country, the deadline for N-Power online jobs and training applications has been extended till the end of August.

The application process commenced on June 12th 2016 and was to close on Monday, July 25, 2016.

However being very keen on keeping its promise of empowering and uplifting young Nigerians by improving their livelihood and creating opportunities such as this (in an as inclusive and diverse manner), the Federal Government is providing an additional grace period for more young Nigerians to access the N-Power opportunity.

The new deadline for the receipt of applications is now Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

N-Power is one of the initiatives of the N500B President Muhammadu Buhari's Social Investment Programme designed to empower young Nigerians with life-long skills to find or create work.

The N-Power programme is segmented into three:
N-Power Teachers Corps Agriculture & Health related jobs
N-Power Knowledge for ICT
N-Power Build for building services & artisanal training

N-Power is targeted at young Nigerians aged between 18 and 35 and is aimed at enlisting a total of 600,000 young Nigerians in phases, and under different sectors, in the largest capacity development and empowerment effort yet in the country.

The Federal Government will continue to work with the State Governments through their respective focal persons on Social Investments to ensure that N-Power is diverse and inclusive.

This extension presents an opportunity for persons who have not had the opportunity to apply to do so now. This will also allow those yet to complete the application process to ensure they see the process through as incomplete applications will not be processed.

To apply, simply log on to www.npower.gov.ng and register for any one of the three sub-programmes.

Please note that applications may be subject to other criteria which can be found on the N-Power website. Any prospective applicant, who has any challenge with uploading supporting documents unto the Portal because of the size of the files, should attach these documents in a mail transmitted to support@npower.gov.ng

After the Application portal closes, there will be a verification, testing and selection process before successful applicants are enlisted in phases as the specific programme design may necessitate.

The Federal Government will publicise the selection criteria before the application process comes to a close.

Modalities relating to the enlistment process will no longer commence today as earlier envisaged due to the demand for extension by many Nigerians from across several states.

Once again, the Federal Government is committed to ensuring that through N-Power, young Nigerians will acquire the skills and knowledge to become the driving forces of Nigeria’s economic growth and social development.
