I suggest to you that we Yorubas should look beyond igbos and think about ourselves.

Igbos are not our problems; we are our own problems.

And our problem is that we feel we are protected by buhari's government.

But truth is buhari doesn't care about you; all he cares about are fulani people.

If buhari can attack Shiite Muslims (his fellow northerners) and agatu people (another set of northerners), do you think he will think twice before selling Yoruba to Fulani?

I suggest you leave the igbos alone.

If they feel they must fight to liberate themselves, I suggest you let them do their fight.

You are not in their shoes, so you don't know where it pinches.

This is a mature opinion, no doubt about it!!!

Welldone..........

If you are Hausa/Fulani, I guess your view point is understandable.......you shouldn't comment reasonably on a post like this.

But if you are a Yoruba, then are you waiting for fulanis to murder your father, mother and siblings in cold blood before you start using your head to think?

It is sad that you just comment thoughtlessly even in the face of evil being perpetrated by buhari.

Is it not clear enough to you that buhari is championing Fulani's cause ahead of other Nigerians?

Why did DSS decide to investigate Fulani murder, but close their eyes when fulanis murder other Nigerians?

You are a lost soul and blinded by party affiliation, which will eventually kill you.

Your comment is shameful!

Now!..... That is 'Word' !!!!!!
Career / Re: Anti Success Symptoms That Limits Our Progress In Life by starlingbawa(m): 7:38am On Apr 08, 2016
jenny88:

Success is the achievement of something you have been trying to do , it takes so many things to succeed in one's life .Laboring to be successful in life have been misinterpreted by so many people to suit their lifestyle , which have led people to commit so many atrocities like killing all in the name of hard work .BELOW ARE SOME OF THE ANTI SUCCESS SYMPTOMS...

ENVIRONMENT : The environment we find ourselves sometimes tells how our future will look like .Many dreams have been killed today due to the environment we are into . Where you stay matters a lot in life . Learn to stay in a place that will help you to build your career rather than staying in a place that will kill it .

THE OPINION OF OTHERS : I will like to ask you this simple question 'WHO ARE YOUR FRIENDS ? WHAT VALUES DO THEY ADD TO YOUR LIFE ?. So many people have failed to attain to a greater height in life due to the opinion of their friends , not because they are not hardworking , but because of the opinion of people around them. The devil uses those closer to us , whose opinion we value , to destroy our destiny. Learn to seek the opinion of people that have great hunger for success.

PROCRASTINATION : The saying of 'I WILL'. Leaving things you should do until later time , maybe because you do not want to do them . Majority of people live by the word 'I WILL' . And it will be there for days and from days to months which then leads to years. Success cannot be accomplished without self discipline.

FEAR : Like the saying ' He who fears to try will never know what he would have accomplished . Fear is one of the strong tools that limit our success in life .It is dwelling on things that would go wrong instead of things that would go right .For you to succeed in life , you must try to overcome the fear in you by every possible means.

PAST FAILURE : Failure provides another opportunity to enjoy success . You cannot be successful in life if you have not encountered some difficulties along the line .And how you handle such situations is what differentiates you from others.Past failure is never a reason to stop trying As success can't be accomplished at first trial . Remember that it is better to try and fail than never to try at all.

PRIDE : A feeling of satisfaction or pleasure that pone gets from doing something well . You are satisfied because of the great task you accomplished today but there is no limit to satisfaction if you want to go far in life . It is a continuous journey which you will be moving day by day.

DISTRACTIONS : It is one of the major tools that brings setback in life of people. It is hard to overcome but if you overcome it , success will be knocking at your door . Human beings are being faced with so many distractions in life ranging from friends , family and work place and these distractions ends up putting the person in confusion . Every thing can be permissible for me but not all of them is beneficial. Learn to always do things that will add value to your life............
my point is this, generally, women are wowed by very simple and easy things. For instance, a woman can respect her man to the maximum if he simply shows acts of loves eg. Talk to her when she's down, listen to her, comfort her, etc.

Hmmmm!.... I did all these things and still got 'Stabbed In The Back' if you know what i mean?

Some of the female folk are just too complicated!

Bros check yourself first, are you satisfying her emotionally, physically and financially? What are the things she desires which you don't do that another man will comfortably and willingly do for her? Are you proud of her? Do you showcase her like a priceless jewel that she is? If no, then you are to blame for your predicament!

Wonderful!!!!

Romance / Re: Guys, Ever Been Embarrassed For Visiting A Lady? Share Your Experiences by starlingbawa(m): 10:51am On Apr 02, 2016
henrylowe:
Very hilarious experience you've got up there Tosyne. cheesy Let me also share mine since there's nothing to be ashamed about

I dated this lady for a few months but the only barrier to effective display of our love in Tokyo was the fact that her parents were unnecessarily being strict which prevented us from having the opportunity to see each other but did more of phone conversation. In fact, I dare not visit her and even when she managed to sneak of the house to visit me, she would be very conscious of time for the fear of being scolded if her parents ever found her missing in the house.

One day, on a Friday to be precise, she called me to come and sleep over at her place as her parents were going for a vigil. As a sharp guy now, I smiled to God for answering my prayer. I went to the bathroom, got dressed and also lied to my own parents that I was also going for a vigil, I was granted amnesty by money dad and I headed to her place around 11pm. cheesy The whole show started for couple of minutes after which we both slept off (I don't expect anybody to ask me what the show was cheesy )

When it was around 4am, there was a knock on the door that was when I knew he was in deep mess. Her parent came earlier than expected. Ordinarily, according to her, she assured me that her parents would not return back until past 5am, but this time I guess things went out of hand.

After few minutes of discombobation on where to hide, I decided to hide beneath the curtain of the toilet located in the axis of the sitting room so that I would quietly sneak out through the main door as soon as they enter into their room. As God will have His way, I successfully hid there, she went to the door, open it and greeted her them. I heard her father playfully told her she no dey use sleep play and all that. She was heading back to her room when calamity happened

Her mother went straight into their room as her father headed towards the toilet to pee before going in with his wife. Seee gbege !!! Before I could say Jack, her father opened the curtain of the toilet and caught me. I thought of running for my dear life but on a second thought the door was already locked with keys so no where to run to

He pointed a torch light on my face and the first question was "what are you doing in my house"? I became a deaf and dumb person at that instance. (Who fit answer dat kind question? cheesy ). The man started shouting at the top of his voice and started calling neighbours that he had caught a thief in his house. I began to plead saying "Sir, I came to take your daughter Mathematics lesson and I carelessly slept off". A 50kg slap was registered on my face and he began to beat me mercilessly. When it was dawn, the police came and bundled me to the station since my girlfriend who was in the best position to save him also denied ever knowing me because she knew her head would be ripped off if she made a confession

I was granted a bail later in the day when the she finally confessed that I wasn't a thief

Lalasticlala come and share yours too

Omo laugh wan finish me for here ooo!

Kai!!!! i fit faint sef if na me this kind thing happen to.

Chai!!! imagine after telling your folks you were going for a night vigil, only for them to be bailing you out of a prison cell the next afternoon. Men!, thats totally weird!

How pathetic and silly of you.
Are you now picking on the guy's typos because you have been thoroughly dusted?
Common sense should even tell you that the "E" key is lying right next to the "W" key on a touch-screen QWERTY keyboard, so accidentally jamming the wrong key is perfectly normal.

Pray tell, are typographical errors the way you gauge intelligence in the north? grin
No wonder you folks have been unable to evolve beyond the 7th century.
It is said that a man who abandons an argument and begins to pick on his opponent's typographical errors, is a man who is too ashamed to admit he has been defeated.

So, it's easy to see why. grin
What did he say that is worse than what the Northern animals were spewing against Jonathan in the months leading up to the last general elections? How many critics did Jonathan arrest during his time?

Buhari's government is fast sliding into a brazen dictatorship. We can't continue with such tyrannical intolerance.

Besides, everything this man wrote on his Facebook page is the undiluted truth! Useless numbers indeed! That's the ONLY thing the core north has to brag about.

This 'DEFINITELY' made a whole lot of sense to me!!!!

Its our terrible prehistoric diets and eating habits that unfortunately have not evolved with time. One sorry example is the lump of unwanted calories packed into our favourite puddings - poundy, fufu, eba, amala and semo. What the heck.

I mean they were great stores of pure carbo-energy when you had to camel 10 miles to the farm, till 3 acres with a hoe and haul back 100 pounds or more of produce or firewood.

You hardly need that if the sum total of your daily tasking involves snoring to work behind a chauffeur, sitting your lazy ar.sis down as you travel through cyberspace on company's resources then retiring home for your daily lectures from Dstv's resident love doctors from Mexico. Yes endless love and endless fatty bums.

A MILLION and ONE tantrums/Insults directed at him from both females and males alike and he never responded likewise, not even for once!..... That for me is commendable and maturity at the very best!

In all my time on NL, I ve never seen anyone who took all the jabs in good faith yet taking time to educate those who throw abuses at him/her.

To you OP, I say welldone... I've learnt something from you... Your maturity knows no bounds!
