EDUECO:that hard in banking. He is after buying assets of debtors through backdoor at discounted prices from banks. |
Sunrisepebble:abi. Oga try looking at transnational Corporation(transcorp) conglomerate discount. Think there is a huge opportunity there. They will receive up to 32 billion in dividend income and management fee from their subsidiaries. This real earnings not like that of last year with sales of shares. |
Raider76:like this point of view. . |
Sunrisepebble:A lot of Nigerian banks are currently dealing with poor asset quality—many of the loans on their books aren’t performing well, and capital buffers are thin. At the same time, the Federal Government is reducing local debt issuance and shifting towards foreign borrowing to fund the budget deficit and ease pressure on local interest rates. As local yields fall, bonds with higher coupon rates will become more valuable, so some banks may record bond revaluation gains. But that’s just paper profit—it doesn’t solve the real issues with bad loans or weak capital. Personally, I tend to avoid over-regulated industries like banking, especially in markets where fraud and creative accounting are still too common. When I but it at 0.30 to 0.5 of book value |
kpankpangolo:they won't fixed how they attract and incubate failed parenting. Am with one married sef, we respect boundaries. At 30s a man must know himself and sail is own ship. You guys are mostly attracted to people with failed parenting. I work with them in my office too without issues. |
havenz:with wetin she bag 🎒. This na vice wife |
Gbadugbakun:are they still asset. People have money to spend doesn't make them intelligent. |
Agbalowomeri:lol, they wanna make money always 🤣. Nestle expanding it moat and pricing power, now inflation is killing it foreign competitors, transnational Corporation is trading at forward p.e around 5 people they look . People following ellah lake, hmm all investors fund dey submerged. |
motymop:that transcorp is a 10x max as there was shares reconstruction. 4unit to 1 unit. N44 is N11. But that hotel I don't understand. |
Show any pdp president with 30km express done in 2 years, was the budget initiated immediately. They can do better but 30km in 1year few months that massive. They will achieve 250km soon. APC is a pandemic but PDP lead us there. None is better. EyeCumInPeace: |
Chilipepper:a man with worth |
Ahmed0336:that is it, distract yourself with something creative that you enjoy before marriage. Take care of yourself, dress well and go out, drive for fun, watch movies, play games, write. Learn to be happy it yourself. My madam is schooling currently, she give all kind of excuses some years back. I changed my clothes, got nice shoes. I got to be alive once nobody will decide my faith not even the kids I didn't do DNA for lol. Na one life don't over sacrifice, what will be will be. Some weeks back she bought shoes and all stuffs for me I thanked her. Then overhead her on phone said, " this one I married na jaiye! jaiye!, na woman raise am, Ejika lo gbemi si(carried on my shoulder) I.e easy to offload. Who loves the most sacrifices the most. |
pocohantas:he isn't well. |
emmaodet:Vitafoam has subsidiaries and foam are not one time thing. They use in packaging, furnitures, noise proof, underlays e.t.c and with population of more than 90 million 18-45 people that will get married, upgrade house. They fall in the construction sector which is booming currently. |
GeeKudi:. Stock market is a weighing machine. With time everything settle at it real value. Company earnings jumping to N14 this quarter, previous quarter N10, just like Nestlé Operating profit to revenue. That massive pricing power. Earnings are very vital in stock revaluation. This might be N400 in 2 years once rates are down. |
mrvitalis:God bless you, warming up my voters card to vote out this disillusioned people. |
pluto09:noticed that too. |
zendi:we are all learning. Just hope they have balls to hold on when bets are down 50%. Remember 2019 Olein which refined Palm oil was trading at discount in Malaysia and Indonesia, OKOMUOIL drop from around N80 to N44 by 2019, we added more ni and no shaking even okomu md Hafar was worried has stock plenty no customer and palm oil was being dump here by importers, no industry is recession proof reason to have some bonds quality short-term bonds and cash. When people dey craze you are liquid. |
Harvestock01:yes sir |
zendi:Am an enthusiast on investing reading and sitting on my ass behavioral advantage just favour me ni. don't know much about them but would love to visit the farm if anyone can give the exact location or contact, i don't like inspirational promoter |
Streetinvestor2:probably 450 range, the international price kpo is reducing as oil price since quite a lot is used in bio fuel which will affect it demand. Price reduced most times in 3rd quarter then volume in storage very low, rubber price seems to be increasing internationally so could be wrong on my assumptions. |
crownprince2017:less volume production, i have OKOMUOIL on my portfolio since 2018, had presco in 2020 at N40, added in 2023 at N180. The result will surprise us. My average holding time is 4years. We all can learn together. |
Why does it feel like people only post their wins? Like losses don't exist in the market? Let’s be real—stocks go up and down. Universal Insurance was around 80 kobo at one point, now it's hovering around 50 kobo. Prestige Assurance? It was about ₦1.30, now closer to ₦1. Even the big guys aren’t spared—Dangote Cement has pulled back too. People need to understand that risk is part of the game. In a real bear market, a lot of folks will panic and disappear—never to return. But that’s when opportunities often show up. Take Beta Glass, for example. It underperformed for about 3 years. I first bought it at ₦57 back in 2022. It dropped as low as ₦36—I added more around ₦38. Why? Because I was focused on the business, not the noise. It was trading below book value, and this is a company with monopoly-like strength in its sector. Consistent, average returns over time aren’t easy. But that’s what real investing is. This isn’t a get-rich-quick game—it’s long-term wealth building, and sometimes that includes holding through the tough seasons. |
fashionnisir:I love seeing posts like this that track investment returns, but let’s also be honest about what’s not shown. This post shows ₦100,000 invested in Chellarams, Vitafoam, Eterna, Scoa, and Presco earlier in 2025—and how they’ve done by April. Some numbers look great, like Scoa going from ₦2.27 to ₦4.47, turning ₦100k into about ₦223k. Chellarams and Presco too, looking solid. But here’s what’s often missing in posts like this: 1. Selection Bias – We only see the winners. What about the stocks that flopped? For example, Universal Insurance dropped from about 80 kobo to 50 kobo this year. Prestige is down too. Even Dangote Cement isn’t immune to red. 2. Short Time Frame – January to April returns don’t tell the full story. Beta Glass, for example, underperformed for three years. I bought at ₦57 in 2022, saw it drop to ₦36, added more at ₦38—and only stuck with it because the business itself was strong, even trading below book value. 3. No Mention of Risk – Real investing includes volatility, drawdowns, and uncertainty. A bear market will shake people out fast. Many won’t return. And that’s when long-term opportunities actually show up. So while it’s cool to share wins, let’s also normalize sharing the full picture. This isn’t a “double your money in 4 months” scheme. It’s a long game—and it’s not easy to beat inflation or achieve average returns consistently. The more people understand that, the healthier our investment community becomes. |
emmaodet:it is a seasonal businesses revenue will decline from next quarter and cost will go up for crop management. |
megawealth01:that company is hmm, caution o |
ositadima1:2024 wasn't N1600 it was average N1300. Your opinion is correct but try comparing stock market return to genuine asset class. Most of this companies are showing they have pricing power the market not the entire view of nigeria economy. Just like house rent is up asset class like rhis must correct too. Hopefully the economy might be better. Anytime i see abnormal returns i sell and keep some in usd else inflation will errode all the gains. Wise observation sir. |
Streetinvestor2:you come this side. |
McLizbae:yea but I drove inside Adugbo and no plenty passenger but that motor am also tired of it but economy cannot let me buy what I wanted. But as I watch the video am calculating and I just they imagine how this small ijebu calculation might cost you. See many reasons not to overspeed, likewise don't gambling with life o. Do you have extra tire and in good condition. |
See this people are looking for money laundering customers. Ask them for there bank statements, they talk more than there actions. Better to find mentors through reading and asking for help in your field and you must also try experimenting and invest in real skills. If they know they wont have time for all this. |
I'm married now with a son, and I can feel my body changing—frequent joint aches, shorter attention span, getting tired more easily. But I'm learning to manage my anxiety and adjust my expectations. Being a man, especially in Nigeria, is no small task. Inflation has been rough, and I’m also becoming more aware of the mistakes I’ve made, especially around capital allocation and opportunity sizing. I’m not wealthy, but I’m not poor either—just very frugal. Lately, I’ve seen many of my friends experiencing some financial breakthroughs. I started early in my twenties, had good mentors, and I listened and experimented. Now, some of these friends try to impress me, but I just hope they also learn to allocate capital wisely—to enjoy some of the fruits but also save and invest properly. Life can be unfair with how unexpected things happen. I’ve lost valuable relationships—young and old—to death. Starting life early has made my advice sound boring to my peers, so I’ve learned to stay quiet more often. These days, my compounding—both income and savings—has slowed down, but I’ve gained more time and experience. I’m discovering that reading widely and cultivating quality relationships are the things that really matter. I'm now planning for my child’s education and hoping to build a house in the next 3 to 4 years. I’m in no rush anymore, and I’ve become a better judge of character. I turn 33 this year. Apologies for the long text. |
You’re thinking just like me. Was looking to load for some of the banks.
