But my N2000+ Nestle has recovered 4 me all my loses via price appreciation, bonuses & dividends a has also made more profits 4 me. What killed the stockbroking firm? 'peny' stocks..... The "sustained loss" to me was a working Capital due to the private placement done in August 2024, that was why it's reflecting in the 2024 FYE. If you check thru the result, you'll see where this was identified as equity as well.
Anyway, everyone is free to give the result his/her interpretation based on their objectives or mindset, but to Mcy, it was a good result and an improved one for that matter.

small opportunities are many for small capital especially if you can work hard on finding rare ideas but with bigger capital you can't participate as you like and you get to compete with smarter people or better. That why businesses needs moat and boring for competitors with quality franchise and long staying power to reinvest capital. That way compounding works for you. My best learning from investing is being a better business man and improving on capital allocation.
sreamsense: I hate stock exchange investment on a personal note due to my previous experiences. Creating time to watch your stock on daily performance is problematic for me as it can cause distraction and high blood pressure especially when you are loosing or when the market remain stagnant for about a week. I prefer making my money and keeping my money in the bank and let them do whatever they like with my money so far I can get my money at any unannounced time.
At times when you have greedy broker like my previous experiences, tell them to sell at right time; they purposely delay with unwarranted excuses and sell at wrong time.
