Naijaforeigner: Please bro, I had to go back and check your initial post. Please escalate this issue, tell the agent you will get her arrested and make sure you report to the school (please check the contact I gave you above). How can an agent deduct about 1.5M naira after visa refusal? The reason why you must punish this agent is to prevent her from doing such to other applicants.
I am sure schools like Fanshawe pay these agents, so why is she greedy? I would be so happy to hear the agent is in jail in your next post. Thanks so much boss for your response. My mum and my brother was at her office yesterday and she was crying and begging that there was fraud on her account at the bank. I personally do not belive her stories because I can sight a lot of discrepancies in her previous text and calls. She has only remitted 500,000 out of the 4.4million sent to her(she’s claiming the bank has put her account on hold due to the fraud issue). We intend taking further actions. |

Naijaforeigner: So I just asked someone in the international department and she said, if your visa is denied/delayed, you will get all of your fees back minus 250CAD.
If your visa is approved and you decide not to come, 2300CAD is deducted from the fees paid.
Your agent is definitely trying to play a fast one on you. For further enquiries, contact the person below. Thanks so much am very grateful. |

Naijaforeigner: Unfortunately, I have midterm exams tomorrow and Thursday. On Friday, mention my name on this post (please don't PM, just mention my moniker here) and I will help you escalate this issue.
I will go to the international office and ask them about their return policy. Please mention the name of your program, how much did you pay in CAD and will ask them about their return policy for Nigerians. If the agent defrauded you, I can tell you he will be removed from FANSHAWE system and further actions will be taken.
Whatever the office says, I will let you know here and probably ask for their contact so you can reach them directly. sorry for the late reply and thanks for your response. Program: Agric business Amount paid in CAD: 15,104 CAD. Naijaforeigner |
Politics › Re: WHY Atiku Lost Massively In The North by Startup00: 4:49pm On Feb 26, 2019 |
@ OP to some extent you are correct. When results started trickling in on Sunday. I called one of my Northern friend. I asked him why do Northerners love Buhari and why is the result from the North not favouring Atiku despite been a Northerner. He told me there’s a propaganda been spread in the North that Atiku will sell NNPC. I was like what’s there own with NNPC when someone like El-Rufai also mooted that same idea 2015.
Secondly I was chatting with my gfs brother who is currently at Kebbi for vacation. He told me they voted massively for buhari. I told him I voted for Atiku and hope he will win. His response was Insha Allah just pray he does not sell NNPC.
I’m only suprised this was used as a strong blackmail against him in the North. NNPC has been a way of siphoning Money and I think unbundling and selling the JV is the right way. I still don’t know the cruise the Northners have with NNPC for them to have so much interest in it. God save us! |

My brother got admission in to Fanshawe College in Ontario for PGD via a travelling Agent and all payment for school fees was made via the Agent. He was denied visa early last year and he deferred his admission till September. He later had to defer his admission again till January because he didn’t get a response from the embassy about his visa application. Unfortunately he got denied late November and we’ve been on her neck for the refund of school fees till now. Yesterday she’s told us she has gotten an alert of 2.8mllion for the refund while we paid a total of 4.3million to her. I have tried checking the college refund policy and I still don’t understand why the money is been reduced from her end. Pls has any one have such encounter with Fanshawe College before and how about there refund policy because we feel she’s scamming us due to the 4months it took her to get back to us. |

helinues: With the results flying around, it is obvious buhari is leading and also will win. The SAN's are piling their profiles so that they can eat the remaining money left for Pdp.
I doubt if Saraki will have an appetite today.
Pdp must learn in hard way the way Nigerians lived in hard ways through out their tenures Agreed but has anything changed from the hardship all over Nigeria currently? Here in Ekiti State Apc was buying votes. The fact is we still have a long way to go in Nigeria and APC and PDP won’t solve our problems. |

danjumakolo: 1...U must b able to sit on a computer for long hours to grasp the tricks. 2... Learn and be perfect in a simple language like VB then dive to Lang's like Java 3 ..u can start from the top rather than bottom e.g just decide to create an app by googling every line of code required but must know basic like data types, variables, fxns, operators etc okay thanks. |

holuphisayor: Find out what works for you. It's not necessary you stay glued to your PC watching videos. If you enjoy books(hard copy) because you don't want to strain your eyes. Fine Get a book on your desired interest area (javascript, css). Spend more time practicing on your PC rather than watching video. If it's javascript.... As a beginner... Download google chrome... Open your browser console and write your codes there. If you want to learn how to build a clone of a website... Let's say Google's homepage.... Browse to the page... Inspect element and get familiar to the dom structure.
Keep doing that... You'll get better. I prefer Videos to books. I will put into practice your suggestion thanks. |

greatface: It is not easy and will never be easy.
Being determined and knowing where you want to be and what you intend to accomplish will go a long way in keeping you motivated.
One more thing, are you learning from one source and maybe never tried other tutorials else from the ones your friend gave you? Maybe you should try other tutorials. Tutorialspoint.com and w3schools.com has gentle ways of introducing programming concepts to newbies and its free. You should check them out and when you're confortable, you can move to more advanced levels.
Finally, if javascript is not sitting well with you, try php first or any other language like python and you can come back to javascript when you're more prepared.
Success... Tried W3schools but im still not getting it at a fast pace though it’s much better than the video tutorials. Moreover, I thought I have to learn JavaScript before going into Php or any other programming language? Thanks for your response. I’m grateful |

asalimpo: you hav to stay with it. There's no shortcut. Many aspects of programming are dry nd dull nd repetitive. One thing you can do is psych yourself up with uplifting thoughts. E.g soon 2019 will become 2021, in the span of time,i could either become a pro webdev or a person who tried nd quit. Taking a phd takes 4+ whooping years,it's too long. Psychup: in 4 yrs, which will soon pass by like breeze,i can either upgrade to phD or still b as i am. So,by looking at hope at what u can become in d future,u endure d dryness of d present. It's not easy though. I've strted many projects nd quite because they were- boring! Thanks, I really appreciate. |

Good evening gurus in the house. I do not intend to bore you with long talks. I started programming lessons mid last year December but currently have started loosing interest due to some reasons. A friend of mine gave me materials on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL and Php. The learning processs was to start with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Have been able to write HTML and CSS codes and even use Bootstrap frame work. Started learning JavaScript and for two weeks have always closed my laptop after few minutes. It's sounds boring to me, pls I need help on how I can learn this effectively. Thanks. |
