Coolcash1: Guy you don't need all this ranting on Oando...Oando is not a stock you can invest for long term. It's purely a short term stock. Anyone that doesn't want to suffer heart attack should forget buying the stock for keep. Just ensure you enter at a good price and exit after making your margin..It remain the most volatile but quick money stock in the market. |

If you don't have idea where to go I will link you to a crime/fraud detective centre at ikeja; they fetch them out in few days wherever they may be hiding, be it benin. I don't condone sh*t, how can somebody claim to pay debt with my capital - 2.7M.
This was how ogboraph (search him up) scammed and promised to pay back after he must have sold his claimed-to-have assets, till now no avail. As time goes by, the scammers get confident.
Very correct...they scammed someone, and talk with confident is what baffles me. If you are very confident, empty your bank account and pay up! |

OBAGADAFFI: This is Trancorp Senior Brother.
That is why no matter what TOE does with transcorp I just look and laugh. I jump & pass. Why did he divest transcorp hotel? The day the power business sees the light of the day is the day he would borrow billions, call for rights and divest to payback loan. Look at the Oil blocks Transcorp own, they have made themselves directors. After divesting the power company with nothing for minority shareholders, that is next garbage they would sell to the masses. |

Oando disposed off key assets of the company including; Sale of Marketing, refining and terminals and Supply & Trading CompaniesSale of Gas & Power entitiesSale of Akute PowerSale of Oando Energy Services Without any recourse to shareholders. Most of this assets where sold at very huge losses. Take Oando Energy services as example; On 31 December 2015, a Share Purchase and Sale Agreement ("SPA" to sell the entire issued share capital of Oando Energy Services Limited ("OES" to OES Integrated Services Limited (the buyer), a Nigerian company, under a Management Buy-out (MBO) arrangement was signed. A no objection consent was obtained by SEC on 31 March 2016. Oando Energy Services was in a net liability position of N20.92billion and was disposed for a consideration of $1. Consequently the Group lost control and derecognized assets & liabilities of the entity. A gain/(loss) on disposal of N21.4billion and (N46.97billion), have been recognized in the consolidated financial statement and separate financial statement respectively Oando is a great Company...but Wale is the hindrance. Let him resign and you will see price shoot up! |

pluto09: I feel you bro. I was also among those who were arguing blindly about oando on SMN. I have learnt my lessons and that is why i will not buy into some companies on the nse now no matter the temptation. Those guys are crooks! Its quite painful, I pulled out of Oando after loosing money, I had to learn the hard way. Oando is not better that FlourMills, yet FlourMills manages all its subsidiaries prudently and you can clearly see the benefits accruing to all shareholders. But with Oando, 3 Wise Men running the Group feel they are smarter than everybody. Tritri: @stcool Thanks for ur opinion but do you think Oscar Onyema/Peter Obi don't know about all the fraudulent illegalities of oando? But this is NIGERIA where u can kill someone for no reason and go free if ur connected...i just hope they r found guilty and punished to send a msg to other COY listed on the exchange to be careful. The NSE can not claim ignorance, I remember vividly during the days of stockmarket Nigeria website, where most guys I respect so much in investing where raising the red flag countless number of times about Oando (At a point I was arguing wrongly). They saw it long coming and they pulled out all their investmets in Oando and never went back. Wale is a killer, he killed Oando. Forget about the ConocoPhillips deal. God exposed him. They never had the interest of minority shareholders at heart going into that deal. If Oil price had stayed up, they would have diverted so much including divesting most holdings to their cronies. Have you tried going through Oando financials: Oando bahamas, Oando this & that, so many sub companies under one company you begin to wonder. Go and check the shareholding structure of Oando Energy Resources, the same way they are diluting Oando plc Nigeria, is the same way they are diluting shares in Oando Energy resources. At the end, the real Oando shareholders own nothing in all this deal. But they are quick to raise capital from minority shareholders. God will punish Wale & Co. |

Pls wat will be the faith of OANDO if found guilty ?? personaly i felt more BAD NEWS will be COMING for oando. . Maybe a fine and possible removal/structuring of management, but I doubt if they would be found guilty. Those cowboys have good lawyers, in fact they are lawyers themselves. The problem is they deceived shareholders to approve so many illegalities using capital raising exercise as the backbone. Watch most of their statements they would tell you they got shareholders approval. Oando under Wale is a big fraud and I would continue to say it. He needs to resign with all his management team. |

pluto09: Buying conoil at N40 in the first place represent an investment decision with a very big risk. As a fundamentalist, your entry price is one of the most important thing. I will advise that you study conoil results for the past six years as this will help you to understand the company better. There is no guarantee that conoil result will be good next year. All investments irrespective of price is risky. I bought ConOil this year after careful study and that was the best price I could get in then, If price goes down the better for me to increase my position in this good company. For the 5yrs Financials have a good look @ the possibility in this company, both cash flow and dividend payout is +ve . A company that is sitting on over 42 Billion Naira in cash, consistent dividend, cash reserve and continues to reduce its debt (9 Billion) in the downstream petroleum sector is +ve for my investment decision long term. Let me accumulate ConOil @ below N30 & wait for N4.00 Dividend next year. Shalom

PharmAlfred: But nobody can truly say why the stock is sliding down. I think it is beyond the sentiments we are expressing now. Conoil share price rose 100% after it declared dvidend last year. This year, it is been bashed right, front and center. I think we will know the true worth in the next 6months. Let's see what its q2 will look like as it is likely to give an idea of the company's direction. For ConOil the bad news I am aware of is the litigation's against them in the lower court .While we await the judgement of the supreme court, my investment strategy is good for ConOil. My average purchase is N40, so if it gets down to 20 I can average down to N25 ahead of next year dividend. If Judgement goes against them, which is worst case scenario and I still get N3 dividend year end, then I don't think I have made a bad investment. What if Supreme court throws out the lower court ruling? |
