Not sure you understand what exceptional items signify o. In street terms, it's an entry used to 'handle' you the minority shareholder. More like 'the more you look, the less you see'.

This is not a BUY or SELL recommendation and doesn't represent my opinion on UBA. Just adding my two cents on the 'exceptional items' discourse.

This is how they would quensh someones wife and say Its only a movie role... I am a professional. Go and ask others that failed, they started as professionals.

...we are all learning everyday. We told you sometimes back that FO will retraced (when it was rising towards 70) and with your high experience you disagreed; today, FO is now hovering below 50. So, everyone is learning and what @stokfrick stated is a fact, similarly your statement is right as well.
grin grin grin grin grin
Truth is I dont bother with price fluctuations in the NSE. Just buy fundamentally sound stocks are let market play itself. I still hold FORTE and ConOil. I wish I had extra funds I would buy ConOil before Closure. When market is moving sound stocks take the lead.

look at how they are all talking as if they are the market makers angry
some people will never learn that u can never time this market
by now u should know that we are at the mercy of these market makers
anything them cut give u, u take !
it does not matter what u think undecided
Are u a learner...NSE follows same cylcle unless major event changes its course. Go and ask! Waiting for Q2 to push prices higher, that would not happen.

what if they report improved Q2 earnings
Q2 or not...Stability in Q2 is well priced in already. Don't let market hand you FBNH @ N7 when Q3 & Q4 is still far ahead.

I wish i had money at hand i would have increased my fbnh holding. That thing fit reach 15 by this time next year.
My bro don't be in a hurry, FBNH would retrace to find support @ 5.45. At this point, check daily volume and pick entry. It may take some time but patience is key.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by stcool(m): 10:59am On Jul 07, 2017
This is how they would send May & Baker to 0.88K, the real offers are not yet out and the bear market has not even started. Those that bought @ N6...NSE is wicked!

if you still have shares in Ashaka how do you exit with the delistment?
The shareholders of Ashaka Cement, who have exercised their option to exit the company prior to the delisting, would receive 57 Lafarge Africa shares for 202 Ashaka shares. They will also receive a N2 per share cash consideration. On the other hand, shareholders, who do not want to remain in the unlisted Ashaka Cement, would be entitled to receive a payment of N15.74 per share from the company.

watch out how conoil is depreciating, which other stock is replicating it?
Ok....Since ConOil is the only stock depreciating. So which stock did you reinvest in that is appreciating. My bro, take a look @ the market nothing is moving. Its a Range...

Nevertheless, I've not given up on conoil, there' a price I'll see it drop to and I'll buy it again.
General market sentiment is down...tell me which stock is making new highs since last week. When major players start taking profit gradually, they sustain price - Market is range bound until another force kicks in negative or positive. In this case may be Q2

haaaa! Brother, I mistakenly failed to sale conoil when I was on N50,000 profit, thinking the profit is too poor. And later had to sale on loss of N80,000...when I saw the stock on a bad body movement embarassed
Wait! ConOil that you bought less than a month ago you took a loss on...Books are not even closed for dividend you don take loss. This JiJo thing is not for every stock oh!

Perhaps a good decision. I expect a reversal today or tomorrow. Next time please don't watch your profit go down the drain.
Don't be in a hurry, expect it to converge @ same price with fidson. My thinking though !

ConOil has always suffered from small volume, If you want sharp price appreciation you might want to look elsewhere. We dey enjoy dividend for this bus only. grin

Abayomi is still very active but not so influential like before, people are now wiser compared to those days, despite that, I still visit his site and listen to his program. He has been trying to make up for the lost suffered by his followers in those days. And of course, his experience still matters sometimes.

Most retail investors benefited from the guy, while some also lost. It's 50/50.

"On Monday Forte said it was on track to achieve its target for 2017 and that based on its performance so far it could payout half of its earnings as dividend.

It said its fuel distribution and power business accounted for 95 percent of its operating profit and that it hoped to announce its half-year audited account before July 31."

Please Neighbors @ Walter Carrington Crescent any news from Q2 audited? smiley
