Amah70: Our mindsets that refused to allow us understand that crude oil is not all there is for a country to survive.
Leave those Niger delta people to have their own country with the oil in their back and front yards; let the Edo, Igbo and Yoruba go with their own countries. Herdsmen and bandit and Boko Haram palaver finish. Right? They think crude oil will be available forever. Even the advanced countries who are the major markets for crude oil are now moving towards renewable energy. its limitless, efficient and safe. By 2050 no one will care about crude oil. |

Zane2point4: Was about to say same thing, no country wey no get naughty citizen, the main thing is control. Why would someone build a gutter or drainage and not cover it up, in overseas you hardly see a gutter like dis, someone can even fall inside there and die. We have a very long way. They used to have gutters like this, but as it is their awesome nature to always develop something better than what they already had. they started using the covered and underground sewer systems. In Nigeria, we have the oldest processes and technologies. we cant even maintain them not to talk about developing something better. #staywoke9ja |

Solutions to this problem could have been a source of employment to about 10 thousand civil engineers, mechanical engineers, chemical engineers, environmental engineers, and about 50 thousand techs. Instead some 1% greedy citizens chose to pocket all the money enough to pay this engineers for about 3 or more years in their own accts, live in big mansions, riding expensive cars for doing NOTHING!. Its okay though, "Nigerians are though, and can adapt to any condition" right?. they will keep oppressing as long as Nigerians continue to act like there's nothing we can do. There is a lot we can do!
We are just lucky we do not experience all those natural disasters, or extreme weather conditions. #staywoke9ja |

The most important thing is communication. No one will hate your accent if they can understand you. So instead of worrying about accents, worry about how to make people hear you clearly. Heck, i dont even care how well you can fake an american accent, the native speakers of a language will always know you are foreign, so guess be original and speak clearly. |

Dantedasz: The worst kind of slavery is mental slavery. The worst kind of a slave is a slave that does not understand he is a slave. If he does not understand he is enslaved how can he fight for his freedom? Nigerians have been kept in dungeons as slaves for so long that even if a liberator came to show them the way to free themselves from slavery and how to attain freedom they will abuse their liberator and tell him the prefer to stay in the dungeons and remain as slaves. So many years of military rule and the years of civilloan military rulers such as Obasanjo, and Buhari has conditioned their minds to accept slavery as freedom. On point! And when you try to tell them, they think they know better than you, so whatever you have to say doesn't matter. This is not the best Nigeria we can have. If we push for greatness, we will surely get there. As long as we are comfortable collecting 4k from politicians, we ain't going no where. |

NOETHNICITY: Ur atrocious misunderstanding of my comment drives me to the point of tears Ur assertion about my hate for the USA cannot be farther from the truth. What a gross misrepresentation of my submissions. Criticism is not the same as hate. More so is the fact that at no point did I infer in anyway or in the slightest form that I dislike/hate the USA. Infact, the reverse is actually the case.
Trump recently criticized Germany, even though on false grounds, it doesn't mean he hates the country.
One of the main reason I like the USA, is because of the love it's citizens have for the country, came rain, come sunshine. But the same cannot be said for most Nigerians. This is the difference between I and most of you. Whereas, I love my country, most of you hate it and re not even ashamed to announce it.
Again, imagine how you quickly absolve US's security of blame concerning unresolved murder cases. Would you do that for ur country too? While I acknowledge that we are still far from US's perfection our security agents are no right off either. Out of nothing they scrap out results. Love ur country It's the only home you have. Stop licking white asses. I'm good now. |

NOETHNICITY: This is the problem, ignorance. We seem to always think only our societies are bad. Not knowing that they are just better at making their look better. Go check the stats for ursef. Even the USA, with all their techs and resources, have thousands of unresolved murder and robbery cases too. Till date, the killers of 2pac and Biggy remain unknown. Those guys re stars. What about many others who aren't. Go to USA stats site and see for ursef. The figures are jawdropping I totally agree with you. The problem is ignorance. I wouldn't go on Google to read up stuffs and then come on here to spit nonsense like my dad is the FBI director. At least they have this figures you talking about. Where is Nigeria's figure? Would you believe those figures if we actually have them? If a crime is unsolved in the US, it's mostly because the culprits did a good job in tying up all loose ends and not the inability of the system to catch them. Your argument shows nothing but the fact that you hate the US. I dont know what they have done to you o. If you could see past your feelings, you'd see it's not as bad as you think. |

NOETHNICITY: Make no mistake, killings in Nigeria is childs play compared to that of the USA.
We re only hearing about this because the victims re stars.
Yet, our people ignorantly think there's impenetrable security in the USA.
Worse still, Donald Trump, dumb as he is and driven by his racist policy, falsely accused Germany of experiencing an increased crime wave due to its liberal disposition to migrants issues. Whereas, contrary to that claim, crime wave in Germany, especially from migrants, is seriously on the decline. Lol. If you are judging based on those things you see on TV. It's not real o. Making a mistake would be comparing killings in Nigeria to that of America. Na bruh! Boko haram, ritualists, cultists, wickedness everywhere. Let me give you a hint. The killers of those 2 rappers are somewhere now praying to whatever they pray to, and hoping that the operation was smooth. The thing is they always leave something behind. In short, they will find you. Hope you understand. |

You are a tribal bigot just like Buhari!
If Sowore becomes anything near president, then Tinubu has finally succeeded in becoming Nigeria's president because Sowore is Tinubu's stooge.
You allowed Tinubu and APC to decide the level of lies you published in your Sahara Reporters online newspaper. You and Tinubu worked in hand to use Sahara Reporters to dish out wicked lies against Goodluck Jonathan's regime just to deceive Nigerians.
You fabricated so many lies of how Boko Haram did this and that under Goodluck Jonathan but after 2015, Sahara Reporters stopped reporting about Boko Haram!
When you notice that intelligent Nigerians like us are watching you, you just write one flimsy and non-indicting negative article against Tinubu just to make it seem like u are neutral but we all know who u are and who u are working for.

jcgodfrey: So, I've read 4 solid pages and no one has mentioned the words "white supremacy". Therein lies the major misunderstanding amongst most people. Most of you are wrong, but it's because you don't know any better. But i'll say this: you think white people are scared of blacks? Think again. Who makes atomic bombs, machines guns, weapons of mass destruction? Who bomb countries year in year out? Who does mass shootings and school shootings every now and then? So most of what you think is basically deception. That man is just one person, but as a collective, white people get on code. For everything you think blacks are guilty of, they are 5x more guilty. It has nothing to do with development, that's just nonsense. There are effects we blacks exhibit today as a result of centuries of slavery, etc. And it may equally take centuries to get over. But make no mistake thinking it's anything to do with how black people are. That's just nitpicking. You say Black Americans are lazy. Black Americans are the most progressive blacks on the planet and it's African blacks that go out there and suck on white zaddy's balls. I won't say anymore on a public forum but if anyone wants to engage in an intelligent conversation about this, hit me up. "Whites are scared of blacks" does not mean white countries are scared of black countries. It simply means that a black man is most likely seen as a threat or danger when he approaches a group of white people, or walks into a store, or a bank. What do you think about those black people that have been killed by the police for senseless reasons, and if a white man does the same thing he gets to keep his life. Believe it or not, the truth is if you are a black man in America, you must be careful. That racism has nothing to do with development is totally wrong. They've been talking about ending racism for decades now but it's still there. If we Africans want to be respected we have to show that we deserve it.....until then..... |

Until that reason is removed blacks will continue to be hated. Yup! Mere fact that you have a dark skin is enough for "some whites" to hate you. It's important to remember that no all whites are like that. |
