The earlier one leaves the better, so my plan is to go on with the student visa and start the or process once I land in Aussie.
Thank you for analysis.
God take charge and help us Bros it's always sounds good if someone says what you are thinking or support your point of view. Australian student visa is like slavery if you had other options. Imagine coming here on a student visa your brain will be thinking different things, you think you are in a heist? come on a student visa you will face MANY Challenges. Relax and listen to smart advice student visa no dey run, in fact, now they are refusing student visa like hell. PROCESS YOUR PR unless you think you won't make it shaa but I MUST STATE THAT YOU WILL ONLY GET EXTRA 5 POINTS TOWARDS YOUR PR IF YOU COME TO AUSTRALIA FOR STUDIES. so after studies, you will still do the same thing you are running from now. Enter here with student visa and your eyes will clear |

Read the whole information then decide what to do.
As per chemical plant operator, South Australia is the only state sponsoring it and it is already on special conditions. Indirectly, the occupation has very little chance of going through. ACT is closed for now EFFECTIVE 4:00PM AEST FRIDAY 29 JUNE 2018: Canberra residents: • You are eligible to apply for ACT 190 nomination if your nominated occupation is listed as ‘open’ on the current ACT Occupation List. • You are not eligible to apply for ACT 190 nomination if your nominated occupation is listed as ‘closed ‘on the current ACT Occupation List. connectgt: Good morning my good people.
Please, I need to get cleared on this; In a situation where a family is granted Australian PR visa, Can the principal applicant enter Australia first, while his family join much later before the expiration of initial entry date? I just feel it's wise for the Principal applicant to move ahead of the rest members of the family to atleast prepare the way for others due to uncertainties with job and cost of settling down. Yeah very advisable, Imagine trying to secure accommodation for family while offshore etc. Come in first settle, then bring them unless you have someone willing to assist you. |

tunlex01: From recent outcomes, Vetassess deducts 3 years from experience if qualification is not highly relevant to nominated occupation. You can also check the Anzsco website and expatforum 'In some cases but not for skill level 2 jobs I stand to be corrected, if you do skill level 1 most times dey are strict and will cut 3yrs |

tunlex01: 222311 is a Skill Level 1 occupation. So if you did not finish from a Tier 1 Nigerian University or a 5 year course, you will probably get a negative assessment from Vetassess. It's not currently nominated by any state except SA which has it on Special condition.
Customer Service Manager is a level 2 occupation. Choose the one that best fit your occupation and degree to avoid a waste of money with Vetassess. 222112 Finance Broker Competent Plus English (or Proficient overall); Offshore applicants Provisional 489 visa only VETASSESS 222113 Insurance Broker Competent Plus English (or Proficient overall); Offshore applicants Provisional 489 visa only VETASSESS these two above are level 2. different from below 222311 Financial Investment Adviser 222312 Financial Investment Manager |

Hadewumi: Hello Fam I am a new BNSc (RN) grad, currently undergoing the NYSC Am interested in working and relocating to Australia, Heard that one will need to do a 12-13weeks bridging program. My questions are: 1. Will it be possible for me to work while doing this program? 2. Which kind of visa will I apply for as I don't think I will be able to meet the PR cut off for now? 3. Is there any kind of arrangement for a job offer after the course that will enable me to stay further? Thanks in anticipations They won't let you do the bridging course without work experience. you might want to do a Bsc to get registered here instead of 3yrs they uni will credit 1 or 1.5yrs. Studying here isn't cheap but once you finish it's worth it as a nurse you will get your money back what country did you do your bsc? |

Tinyemeka: Kk. I believe I'm good to go. My only grouse with the 489 visa class, is the 10 - 15 months processing time. Can I get the link to those job descriptions you screenshot please? Need to review them properly. Thanks a lot. Forget that timeline on average it can take 7months processing time no be problem outcome. Tinyemeka: Kk. I understand now. Thanks.
1. But will I still suffer any cut to my years of experience as my BSc is from a different background, though my job description matches their requirements?
2. Pardon my ignorance please, what will the statement of service be like? Document endorsed by Departmental/Branch head? Or just a letter from me? 1. So if the degree is not highly relevant most time they will cut 2yrs post to give you a positive assessment. some cases are different but not with the jobs I have listed. so Degree no matter na work experience in this your case. 2. Just refrence letter from HR or your manager stating your details, employment date(s), roles, contact details etc.

bluebella: I need help too pls My case is this: My background is Agric Engineering (B.Eng)...2years work experience as an Agric Engineer. Safety Engineering (MSc) UK. 8+ years work experience as a site/project safety engineer..(2 years UK and 6 years Nigeria). Please, how do I tailor my CDR? Does the EA do verification (I intend to use Agric Engineering as 10 years experience)??
please the great minds/thinkers in the house should kindly advice me/guide me pls. It's good to have options lol, You can go to EA or to VETASSESS 234112 Agricultural Scientist Competent Plus English (or Proficient overall); Offshore applicants Provisional 489 visa only VETASSESS 311111 Agricultural Technician Competent Plus English (or Proficient overall); Provisional 489 visa only VETASSESS Agricultural Scientist 234112(some NSW regions) Or You go to EA. A couple of states want Engineers as well as Agric.. professionals. Depending on how quick you can get your Nig. Transcript to Vetassess you can apply for their priority processing($1600 10 days assessment is finalised) same with almost what you will spend for EA which can take time. When the assessment is out depending on you and other factors such as English.. For 489 you get 10 more points so all you are looking for is to land yourself on 65 points inclusive of the 10. For EA you will be hoping to get nominated by a state 190 which is really competitive now or 189 If you can bag 8,8,8,8 then you are safe. In conclusion, if you get get a superior then follow EA, if not maybe try other options which are easier and quicker. |

Tinyemeka: I fear that I may be in a similar position. BSc Applied Microbiology and 10 years banking experience.
I'm torn between filling for 222311 (which currently best matches my job profile) and the Customer service manager. Does the inclusion of non-degree professional qualifications matter?
What do you think VETASSESS may readjust my work experience to? Thanks.
Cc: Bellong, Mamajaz Readjust your work experience if need be, VETASSESS cares only about employment(Statement of service) once your duty matches AUSSIE own that's it. No copy word for word. To address your concern, I have a bit of experience with the nursing thing, The main goal for you now is the get a positive skills assessment first. It's going to be hectic cos of different bodies involved. I think the first body you will need to deal with is AHPRA https://www.ahpra.gov.au/ The regulate licencing for Medical professionals. From my understanding, you need to get a principle letter from them or so, in that letter they will outline what you need to do to gain Australian Registration. You now have to take the letter and everything again to ANMAC https://www.anmac.org.au/ for skills Assessment. Positive from ANMAC you apply for PR, come here and do an IRON program or bridging----> Gain Australian registration. Work for a bit. apply for top jobs. IT CAN BE DONE So you are looking at MENTAL health nursing. Write English first must be academic IELTS OR PTE 7 minimum in each band. Once u gain registration and you have full working rights you will run from nursing jobs in this country, especially mental health. TOO MUCH WORK TadellNairaland: Hello brothers and sisters, I'm a Nigeria trained nurse (BNSc, RN, RM, MNsc - Psychiatric Nursing)
I'm currently in clinical practice in one of the FMC's, but I'm considering migrating to Australia and I will like to practice in the academia (be a university lecturer) when I get there.
So I would like our brothers and sisters that have taken the route before to educate me on what will be required for me to be integrated into their system as a university lecturer.
I learnt that I will be reevaluated by their nursing council and be reissued a new license (which is normal) But what will happen to my masters degree, will it be accepted? What's the minimum requirement for lecturing job there? Will my race (black race) be a constraint to this dream?
Thanks for your time as I await your replies. |

Just run from that social worker You won't get positive from them. Focus to tailor your experience to something else vetassess has multiple options chidozy15: Hello house,
I read sociology and graduated with a 2.1 from Uniport but I never practiced it, instead I got into IT, first as a digital marketer then as a freelancer for two years now.
I have two issues,
1. I want to apply for the skilled worker program under social work which is a 189 and assessed by AASW. But I don't know what this requires or if my lack of experience in the field will be an issue.
2. I could also apply as a copywriter or technical writer but these are 190 and are hardly sponsored by any state. What would be the best process for me.
Thank you.

B.Sc = Computer Science = 2006 M.Sc = Computer Science = 2014 Experience = 10 years = 15 points English = yet to be taken I understand that if I apply with M.Sc, they will deduct some yrs from my experience(As is assumed you can't work and study at the same time). so based on this, I want to apply with only B.Sc. for skill assessment, the degree is the first which is the qualification. It can be in a relevant field or not that comes down to how many yrs post qualification work experience vetassess will deduct for a positive outcome. so degree doesn't really matter unless stated by vetassess that you must have a degree in a highly relevant field. nonyowen: Thank u for response. Yes I saw the that job on the list but my problem is that that job experience is more of environmental manager where as qualifications is Geology.
