We South Africans have never been ill-treated by any North African team but by West African and Central African teams. We have a very cosy relationship with North Africans because of the respect and decency that we give to our hosts. We always treat West African and Central Africans nicely when they visit but they have on many occasions given us a middle finger when we do a return visit. Congo Brazaville is a case in point, Nigeria is another case in point....as our team Orlando Pirates was given a very hostile treatment during their champions league campaigns with your teams in the 90's. The North Africans respect us and our talent and skill, hence they even hire our coaches to coach their big teams, e.g. Pitso Mosimane at Al Ahly, Rulani Mokwena at Wydad Casablanca, Fadlu Davids at Raja Casablanca. You should see how we treated Ahly fans, Wydad fans and CR Belouizidad fans when they came to Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria. They returned the favour by even giving Pitso Mosimane and Rulani Mokwena standing ovations when Sundowns made a return visit to Wydad. The same was done by Al Ahly fans. We also have a very warm relationship with Algeria...they always welcome us warmly at their Nelson Mandela stadium. So, please dont make your poor relationship with North Africans our problem. We know you, you are provocative, and have a misplaced arrogance. We used to support you in world cups and Afcons but you repaid that by starting to insult us and call our boys with belittling names. I used to know all the Nigerian players in all world cups that you went to, but you made me lose that affection for your team because of your attitude. So, start working on your attitude if you want to be taken seriously.

Just a few years ago the Moroccans sprayed insecticide in the dressing room of the Ghanaian Under 17 women's team. They couldn't use the dressing room at half time.

Remember the 2009 World Cup qualifying matches between Algeria and Egypt? Both teams alleged that they suffered maltreatment and this led to rioting on the streets.

Raja Casablanca came to Nigeria to play Enyimba and immediately they started pretending that they were maltreated here, so that they would have an excuse to maltreat Enyimba. Enyimba's management had to send a protest letter to CAF before the second leg.

Dr. Motsepe is a man of integrity and not a corrupt person. Do you know that he does not even draw a salary from CAF, but instead give money to CAF? Our league (PSL) has improved a lot since his involvement (you can ask your countrymen Stanley Nwabali, Olisah Ndah, Richard Ofori (Ghana), and Ighodaro about that and they will confirm).
