There's nothing hard in slaughtering a goat nau, I did that on 24th when my kidbro was forming busy playing PS4 with his friend. I just quickly cut the animal and summoned him to roast and cut it. As long as the goat is well tied, you are good to go!

looking at 2016 in retrospect, what are the things you had to cut back on this year?

As for me I cut off eating out and replaced it with patronizing locally grown foods to advance my cooking skills (shocked that even as at today 1000 naira spent on stew items can last for over a week compared to 1000 naira spent for a plate of food grin

)

This is the painful truth: the government just got two steps ahead of the greedy speculators.

Usually the naira/dollar rate at the black market is widely run by speculation.

With oil marketers complaining of high exchange and the us elections. The BDC's where planning on a making a killer profit by shutting rates to N500.

News of this got filtered and govt stepped in.
Here is the interesting part. The govt just gave them a profit margin of 15 naira and told them not to buy dollars from anyone above 395 naira.
It is actually the people that get dollars at 380 and run to the black market to sell at 460 that givt is after

Update: waiting for the markets to open to confirm rates for today. Seems like its only the FCT affected. No trader is willing to sell dollars as at 10pm yesterday.

The Dollar current sells for 395 Naira on the streets of Abuja.

There is a mild panic among traders as officers from the DSS are going after BDC traders selling dollars above 400 Naira.

Heavy presence of Police patrol vans circuling around wuse zone 4.

Sourcing for dollars is currently difficult in the market as traders as willing to buy but refusing to sell.

Very uninformed post I must say. I repeat this can never happen.

The visitor visa regardless of tenure (6months, 1yr , 2yr, 5yr,10yrs visa) gives you a maximum stay of 6months without course to work or public funds. (Multiple entries but on each entry you cannot say more than 6months unless you have a genuine reason and inform the authorities for extension).

How stupid can the UK be to come up with such policy when people pay hundreds of thousands to get a visa that can not even let you stay for more than 6months.

In that case no one would ever apply for a visa and enjoy such with no revenue going to the embassy.

This news is nowhere near any of the official websites of the uk but tied in the imagination of dreamers
