Phew! Learning take discipline, and then the excitement kicks in.

So, ~18days into my journey of being a Front-End developer (freeCodeCamp), I just deployed my first practice site.

Sure, nairaland has a simple UI, but it was a good challenge to implement the HTML and CSS I've learnt so far to make the site responsive on all devices. Tho I have not learnt media-query just yet (in the freeCodeCamp curriculum)...I had to research how to implement it so I could use it on the nairaland ad "carousel" that shows just one ad on mobile screen but three ads on a wider screen (tab and computer screen).

This is like 1 down 9,999,999 to go, but it is a good learning experience.

Am feeling terribly pitied to myself as a father who can't get a reasonable paying job upon all my knowledge in a lot of jobs. After having series of problems in a Private University with the school authorities, I decided to Switch to Noun Mass Communication....is it advisable

Contrary yo the opinions some people have about NOUN, you actually need to be at the top of your game academically if you want to come out with good grades in NOUN.

There's no physical class.. Most courses don't even have facilitations (eLectures) - so its you and your course material alone.

Exams are strict because there's no area of concentration, so you literally have to cover your materials to even fare well

But.. What exactly is your problems with the private Uni?

Money? Abi Academics?
