*Few months the VC assumed office, Bank was brought back into the school. The risk of entering bike, paying 120 to town just to withdraw 1k especially when you are broke will stop soon. More ATM are coming up*

*There is already introduction of Computer base test for 100 level and 200 level students, this will help curb malpractice, issues of missing results*

*The VC has also made it possible that all semesters results will always be uploaded on our various Kofa account, this will make Kofa site more useful, issues of pasting results on department noticeboard and some students will tear it will come to an end*
.
*There are so much development the management has brought into the system, I can't name them all but we will Live to enjoy better AAU has more developments are coming*

*Security light (street light): apart from school gate and hostel road, every other place in the school is a cloud of darkness at night. Even between school gate and pavilion is frightening for three people to walk at night*

*HIDE OUTS ON WALKWAYS & SPORT COMPLEX*
*Sometimes when it's raining, and we are caught up between the school gate and pavilion, it becomes a big problem to avoid being drenched by rain. Please do well to create hide outs along the walkways for us*

*The walkway itself needs renovation.
Everyday, we are urged to use the walk way whereas the walk way is galloping and depleted*

*SPORT COMPLEX* :
*Sport complex also need a hide out from rain. A comfort place where spectators can chrelax to enjoy the game. I cite Auchi poly's as an example*

*SHUTTLE MEN* :
*the school is not that big, we can't be paying N50 to market square and be paying N30 to FNS. I think N20 is reasonable enough to take anybody to anywhere within the school. And again, I think we want to know the shuttles in our school. Osariemhen motors and co should go and change to AAU shuttle or they check out*

*Wifi NETWORK* :
*this school is big enough to provide a wireless network for us. We need wifi in this school. Wifi is no big thing that AAU can't afford for her students*

*HOSTEL MAINTENANCE* :
*Our hostels are not given any attention in terms of maintenance. Everywhere is always bushy. In fact the rats around Kudirat and Oyearegbulem female hostels are almost as big as cats. For the health safety of us all, there should be a scheduled time for clearing and fumigating, not until the grasses grow into trees or a news of snake bite is reported. The hostels should also be maintained just the same way the school gate is maintained. There should also be an incinerator for each hostel where disposed rubbish can be well treated. I also think every block needs a water tap to reduce the queue at the central tap (sometimes it's frustrating when you come out to fetch water and you meet crowds from other hostels gathered at Rev. Martins lol)*

ME: Teen dating is like a man who went to farm without a sharp instrument. Teen dating is like a woman who went out with rumpled clothes because she couldn't wait for her clothes to be ironed. Teen dating is a young man or woman who feels love, but is yet to define who he/she is, and what they want in life, and thus can't conclude who should be with him in life. Teen dating is hopping into the next available taxi, without knowing where its heading to, just because you want to get out of where you are. Teen dating is an invitation to misuse of time, focus, and misplaced priorities. Teen dating is doing a good thing at a wrong time.

HIM: But Sir, believe me, there will be no sex, no romance, and we both are Christians. Are you saying it is still a sin before God?

ME: It is beyond the issue of sin before God. It is a waste of purpose and priorities....at 20 years and year two, marriage should not be your focus....you are just hanging around aimlessness....even if there is no sex and no romance,...it is a distraction and a hindrance to discover your full potential.... and since the journey to marriage will still require another 5 to 7 years, either of two things will happen,.....either you will burn each other out for lack of intimacy,.....and you will cross into intimacy, and finally start having little kisses, romances and finally sex... either way, you would have wasted your time...

HIM: But Sir, don't you think teens should at least have an experience in order to know how to handle future relationships in the future?

ME: We don't get experience of how to avoid accidents by getting into an accident. We don't have to learn by the path of experience. People who wait to learn by experience come out with broken arms, broken legs, and broken hearts. Experience, is a bad teacher. We learn best by reading from books of people before us. Scripture says, the things that are written are done for our learning, that through READING, we might have hope. I don't have to contact Ebola, HIV and go to Hell on earth, before I know it's wrong. Please don't buy that fake lie. U need no such experience. Does a fish attend swimming classes? Please go through the path of wisdom.

HIM: Okay Sir, so what is this path of wisdom and how can I get prepared for marriage in the right way?

ME: The journey to a godly relationship that will lead to bliss is loaded in the principles of God's word. Before you allow your emotions to run into love, Bury your head into God's Word and get other useful materials that help channel you in the right path

Message To All Aau Post UTME Aspirants By Stephen Ikhane aka AAU update

After the stress you are going through to gain admission. Finally you gain the admission and you are not focussed in your studies. You are not wise at all. I am talking to you. Yes, those aspirants who would become freshers, those who would allow the feeling of being independent being in the University to cloud their head those who who would give their full attention to the distraction of school like partying, dating, making new friends and not their books. Here is an advice to the freshers. Yes I said freshers if you believe you are you would be freshers be focussed. AAU is not rice and beans, carry over is real, think about where you are coming from, where you are now, where you are going. Be wise, be smart and hold God strongly. I pray that the same God that gave you admission would keep you focused, safe, and give you strenght to graduate in flying colours in jesus name.

If by his grace I'm elected as SUG director of information, we the SUG excos will also organise orientation for you all, where the SUG President and other excos will address you people but for now, keep praying for admission.

Good Evening AAUITES
.
As you all know, SUG election which every SUG aspirant was preparing for since the beginning of this session has been postponed to next session first semester due to security reasons and exam which is starting next week
.
This means that by next session, all our final year brothers and sisters, stakeholders, faculty and department presidents, hostel governors and Comrades will graduate and leave the system they will not be able to participate in the election, we will miss them, especially their words of advice and encouragement and I pray they find time to be with us next session during the election
.
By next session 100 level will come in, which are the present aspirants of AAU and hopefully these 100 level will be allowed to vote, our brothers and sisters and friends who went on Industrial Training (I.T) will have the opportunity to vote too because they will be back from I.T by then
.
While we are looking at the disadvantage and advantage of the postponement of the election,
.
Stephen Ikhane want to use this medium to apologize to our ESTEEMED AAU students for the Election
controversies, every inconvenience this might have caused you is highly regretted.

I also want to thank all my supporters, my friends, my brothers and sisters, and all my well wishers including goodness and mercy for the support so far and for standing by me through the struggle, it is not over until it is over

Student Union Government (SUG) is the voice of the students, serve as a middle man between the school authorities and the students and give constructive criticisms as regards the rules and regulations constantly formulated in the school amongst many others

The pain here stems from the fact that SUG were closely monitored and were not given the free hand to carry out some of their plans and also their hands were tied when it came to raising the standards to taut of an average student rant wants to explore life.
