*It has come to the notice of COMRADE STEPHEN IKHANE aka AAU UPDATE that SCAMMERS are busy posting on Social media about upgrading of results in the just concluded GST 101 and GST 102 CBE*
*This has gone viral among 100 level students and Carryover students who wrote GST 101 and 102 CBE*
.
*These scammers claim they work in ICT and General Studies (GST) Division, making the students believe the message is from ICT or GST Division*
.
*Some of these scammers are in various whatssap group chat especially Departmental group chat just to post about upgrading of results, telling students to contact them*
.
*A lady and her friend were defrauded of twelve thousand naira all in the name of upgrading GST results*
.
*These scammers charge 10,000 naira and sometimes 8,000 naira for each course*
.
*Please, these scammers are impersonating ICT officers and General Studies (GST) Division, I want to beg if you receive such text message disregard it. It's a scam*
*Be vigilant and be very careful, don't be a prey to scammers*
.
*If you receive any text message or see a post on any social network that says you should contact them for any upgrade of CBE Results, disregard and ignore it. Don't have a second thought about it at all, it's a big SCAM. Scammers can get students phone numbers anywhere and send them text messages or post on social networks just to defraud them*
.
*Don't give anybody money to upgrade or block GST or any CBE Departmental Courses for you*
.
*I repeat, there are fraudsters who collect money from 100 Level Students promising to assist them to upgrade GST 101 and GST 102 CBE Results and their Departmental Courses. This is a criminal act. Be properly guided that should you lose any money as a result of payment to anyone, that is your liability. Please be wise*

*My candid advice to those who are perpetrator of this scam or those who are intending to, please desist before the law catch up with you like a flash of lighting*

*It will also interest you to know that, AAU don't accept Second Choice of Institution, apart from passing AAU cut off mark required for Post UTME, you must fill AAU as FIRST CHOICE of INSTITUTION, that's the only way you can be invited to partake in the Post UTME Exam and screening Exercise*

*In line with this, all concerned Aspirants who must have filled AAU as their second choice and those that did not fill AAU at all during their JAMB registration should endeavour to purchase the JAMB change of institution form when the form is out on sale*

*The University Authorities of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma have not released Cut off mark for 2018 Post UTME, disregard every rumor which states that cut off mark is out*

*It's no news to us that AAU First Batch of Admission is out*
.
*AAU Kofa is still uploading names into First Batch List and is updating.... Candidates that gained admission into First Batch can not access their Kofa account for now because Kofa is yet to update their new Username and Password the new Username name will start with E10....... Follow by password. When Kofa Update again, your Username and password will be provided for you and you will be able to Login your account to view the Course you were given*
.
*HOW TO CHECK ADMISSION STATUS*
.
*Browse the AAU Kofa site, when it display you will see "Login also displaying Username and password" ignore that and click on the box at the right top corner with 3 white line in it and you will see "Check Admission Status" click on it and input your JAMB registration number and Surname (type the Surname with Capital letter all through) then submit*
.
*For those yet to be admitted, remain calm... Is only first batch that's out for now.... We have about 3 more batches remaining. No need to panic, just keeping checking your admission status time to time*
.
*Direct Entry Admission usually follow Second Batch of Admission not First Batch, so all Direct Entry candidates should remain calm and wait for Second batch of admission*
*Second Batch of admission is where many candidates are admitted*
.
*ISSUE OF PENDING ADMISSION*
.
*Pending Admission Status means your name have not been approved on the admission list yet*.
.
*If your Admission status is showing "Submitted" this means they have submitted your data but yet to be approved, is the same thing with pending admission.*
.
*Keep the faith , your Admission Status will change from Pending to Admitted very soon. Kofa is uploading names gradually, they can't just upload all the names at once*

*Note: AAU Post UTME/ Direct Entry form is still very much on sale*

*Post UTME Aspirants, I want to sincerely warn you all that you shouldn't be that desperate and meet strangers for help*

*There are a lot of hungry students out there who scam their fellow students especially Post UTME aspirants for money.*

*Anybody who say they can help you gain admission or upgrade your post UTME screening point (result), telling you to call any certain number is a scammer, don't even call the person for anything*
*Most times they will tell you to pay some certain amount of money into their personal account before they assist you, flee from such person.*
.
*I repeat, there are fraudsters who collect money from aspirants promising to assist them with their admission, This is a criminal act. Be properly guided that should you lose any money as a result of payment to anyone, that is your liability. Please be wise. Once they collect your money that's the end of the story. You will never ever hear from them again.*

*Do not call anybody that post his or her phone number online telling you they can help you with admission runs. They are students who scam Post UTME aspirants, they call it hustling. Mugu must fall maga must pay please don't meet them, ignore them*

*Candidates are required to present their results (0'level result print out or slip) JAMB result print out or slip, Post UTME registration form containing their date, time and venue and two passport photographs*

*Then you will see your Jamb result and start screening Test*

*Then you will be told to input your 0'level result (5 compulsory*

*Then click finish attempt and go back to your questions and your Post UTME Examination questions will display*

*The total number of questions is 10*

*5 questions from Mathematics and 5 questions from English*

*Make sure you attempt all*

*30 minutes is to answer your 10 questions and also to fill in your five key 0'level results*

*Immediately you click submit, your result will display on the system*
