ABAKALIKI DIOCESE LOSES CHEERFUL PRIEST, FR. IFI UCHE FELIX

He was ordained in 2014 and was the SUG president as a seminarian in Bigard Seminary, Enugu. He died Friday 14th June on their way back from Bayelsa. His priest friend who was driving survived but was unconscious but Fr. Uche Ifi, died on the spot.

Fr. Uche is known as a happy and cheerful priest.

May his soul rest in peace...

A lady identified as Remikat who was stranded along a lonely path with her friends in Jos were helped out to safety by a Fulani man.

Remikat Ayuba posted the picture of the good Samaritan of Fulani extraction on her Facebook page and wrote....

''We still have beautiful souls within the fulanis for those that paint them all black, he went all the way to help when we got stranded along a lonely path.”

A 40yr old teacher has committed suicide in Unguwar area of Kano State.The corpse of the deceased identified as Femi Malami was found in his room when a friend came looking for him and knocked on his door but he refused to open.He became worried when he called his number and it rang in his room.His corpse was discovered when the door was forcefully opened.The corpse has been deposited in a mortuary by the police.

The Central Neighborhood Watch,Igbo-Eze North Section apprehended one Of the suspected killers Of late Mr.Chibueze Urama from Ikem Umuidoko Ogrute, Enugu-Ezike in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area.

The suspect during interrogation said that his name is Mr.Chukwuma Omeje from Aji,Enugu-Ezike.


The jubilating crowd hailed and commended the efforts Of His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi,Comrade Uwakwe Ezeja,the Central Body Neighborhood Watch And the Aji-Ogrute Peace Committee for their relentless effort in making sure that the culprits are apprehended.

There was a fierce gun battle between the police men and armed robbers who tried to rob a priest today at Hardel Junction,Orji,Owerri.

According to report, the robbers took their robbery to a junction which has a police station around and the uniform men could not take such assault.They engaged in a gun battle with the robbers and shot one of them dead.Others escaped.More photos below
