'Tough times indeed for my entire family but in all His grace and mercies are keeping us strong.

My younger brother Solomon Yellowe, the last born of the family, left Uniport campus after a test to withdraw money from a bank's atm on the 13th of March. Not long after he was arrested by SARS. By 14th of March my brothers lifeless body was deposited at UPTH mortuary by the same SARS that arrested him. They never contacted us despite knowing that we were looking for him. We went to their station several times and they continuously denied ever arresting any Solomon Yellowe. It was on the 26th of April that we finally discovered my brother's body at the mortuary.

He was healthy at the time of his arrest and was taken to SARS, Rukpokwu where he was subsequently murdered the next day. He was tortured to death...

My brother had never been arrested before nor does he have any record of criminal activity. We have also not received any information of a complaint against him.
Yet he was killed by police without any regard to his family.

Pls I want to urge every one on this platform, in anyway you can to assist us to get justice for my brother, Solomon, whose life was cut short for no apparent reason.

Update on Gombe Easter tragedy: 

These are some of the Boys Brigade members who were highly affected by the incident that occurred during Easter in Gombe.Some were discharged  while others have been booked for operation. As we've unitely prayed for their healing so also I urge us all to continue praying for those who will be undergoing operation of different degrees.

A fresh attack on Rekwechongu village in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State has claimed the lives of two persons.

The attack which took place on Friday, 3/5/2019 was said to be carried out by Fulani herdsmen.

The incident which occurred at about 10pm claimed the lives of one 62 year-old man, a Christian farmer by name Adi Zere, who was burnt beyond recognition and a 35-year-old mobile police officer, a native of the Irigwe tribe, who was also killed in the attack.

Two churches and several houses with some 58 food barns were burnt down, animals were killed and many farms worth millions of naira according to the locals were also destroyed.

Suspected cultists were arrested by police at Wadata, Makurdi on 2/5/2029 after they shot one Awalu Yusuf on his left arm and took to their heels. The victim is currently receiving treatment. Suspects were arrested with one locally made pistol, 2 cartridges and a knife.

Suspected kidnappers were arrested with dead bodies of their victims in a Hilux alleged to be own by Takum Local Government Chairman of Taraba state.According to report,they dumped the corpses to instigate crisis.

Very sad news...

This pretty lady will be buried tomorrow at her home town, Iruama Igbu Awkuzu, Oyi LGA.

Late Miss Nwokike Nwamaka Christophine was a graduate of Odumegwu Ojukwu University. She did her NYSC in 2017 and yet to secure a job.

Nwamaka was 23 years old on April 22, 2019. She was murdered at Upper Iweka Onitsha on Easter day.

According to her younger sister who was with her on that fateful day, they were coming back from Asaba and stopped at Upper Iweka.

As they dropped, two guys approached her, one gripped her hand bag, and she attempted to drag it with him. The other brought out knife and stabbed her. She fell down almost lifeless.

The cry of the little sister drew the attention of a good Samaritan who quickly took her to the Toronto hospital.

But she couldn't make it because she was said to have lost lots of blood.

She died at the hospital.

Upper Iweka has become a den of criminals and deaths. The death of this young girl of 23 must not go unnoticed. Nwamaka was stabbed to death, they took her hand bag and ran away. Up till now, no arrest was made. No investigation by the police.

Life has become cheap in Nigeria. Innocent people are killed daily and the killers walk away freely targeting their next victim.

We call on the govt and security agencies to go after the hoodlums that terminated the life of this promising young lady and bring them to justice.

As Nwamaka will be laid to rest tomorrow, Friday, May 3rd, may her soul rest in peace but the soul of those that murdered her shall never have peace.

An officer of the Nigerian Prisons Service, Idongesit Williams Ntia, has been fingered in an attempt to murder an Akwa Ibom man in Uyo.

It was reported that the officer in company of two of his colleagues, attempted to kill a certain Emem Ekanim, over a minor accident which occurred along Nnwaniba Road in Uyo, last week, between a commercial mini bus and a private vehicle belonging to the said officer.

The commercial mini bus was said to have ran into the back bumper of the prisons officer, although without much damage.

Narrating his ordeal, the victim, Emem Ekanim, said he was on transit along Nnwaniba Road when he saw the said officer and two of his colleagues beating up a mini bus driver who was obviously pleading for mercy.

Just like other passersby, Ekanim
said he stopped by to intervene and pleaded on behalf of the mini bus driver who was at this time on the ground, begging to be spared and admitted being at fault.

Ekanim said it was while he was pleading on behalf of the driver that another passerby asked, who they were, he replied, prisons officers. The officer, Idongesit Williams Ntia, who was on mufti, pulled and cocked his gun, before using the butt of the same gun to hit him about four consecutive times in the right eyes.

He narrated that he was also beaten to pulp, with his clothes torn, while it took efforts of the crowd that gathered to save him.

After allegedly committing the offense, Ekanim said the officer and his colleagues jumped into his car and zoomed off.
