Three men have been killed by Fulani herdsmen at Orimele Farm between Ethiopian east and Edo State.According to report,they were going to farm when the herdsmen attacked and killed them.Below is what Iyke wrote....

Sunshine Stars' coach Julius Kayode punched Lobi Stars' GK Ospino Egbe during the buildup to a football match in Akure.

Lobi Stars via its Twitter handle said.....

'Bizzare scene in #Akure.Our Goalkeeper, Ospino Egbe, down in serious pains after he was attacked by SunshineFCAkure Chief Coach, Kayode Julius, before today's rescheduled NPFL match'.

The management of Sunshine Stars FC later handed coach Kayode Julius immediate suspension for improper conduct during the build up to the rescheduled league match with Lobi Stars.

'A conspiracy and an attempted murder on my dad by the masquerade cult group (Okruso) in obrikom, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA of Rivers state

I was called today by my brother and was told that they were at the police station where report was made against the attackers of my dad, a masquerade group (Okruso) in my village Obrikom.

My dad, an indigene of Obrikom was passing on his way to his business when some masquerade (Okruso) attacked him and injured him severely.

He being the good citizen decided to go to the police who in turn went out for arrest but were attacked by the masquerades at the playground. The police returned to the station and decided to hold my dad behind counter until he produce their attackers to work on their destroyed vehicle, something he possibly can't do because he can't identify the attackers.

I made some calls and he was given a document to treat himself at the general hospital and his release followed.

But this matter will not be swept under the carpet as the culprit will be made to face the law'

A man identified as Emeka Nzelu from Ozubulu,Anambra State has been shot dead in South Africa.Another victim was also seen struggling for his life on the ground. It is unclear who shot him but the person who shared the photos blamed Ozubulu people for the killing of their brothers in South Africa.

Many people have been burnt to death in a communal clash involving Izzi and Ikwo in Ebonyi State.According to report,no fewer than 12 persons have been killed, including a family of six, who were burnt to death by armed hoodlums in the course of the crisis.

In reaction to the crisis,the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Dave Umahi, has indefinitely suspended two council chairmen, political appointees over the killings in the state resulting from communal crises.The affected chairmen are Chief John Nnabor of Ikwo and Chief Emmanuel Nwangele Of Abakaliki Local Government Areas.Umahi also suspended three traditional rulers that were accused of having a hand in the sponsorship of the nagging crises.


The Governor on Tuesday 9th April, summoned stakeholders consisting elected and appointed officers from Abakaliki, Ikwo and Ohaukwu at his office at the Government House, Abakaliki.

'My dad has being assassinated by unknown Assailants. He was shot and left in the pool of his own blood.an innocent man who served 35yrs in the Nigeria Police & retired, they murdered him in cold blood.

My pregnant wife traumatized and unconscious after witnessing it.This is too much for a man to bear in a single night'

There was a mild drama in Nnewi,Ananbra State after vigilante members flogged a supposedly mentally deranged man who came to destroy a shrine.The man accused the shrine of killing his brother who was meant to be a reverend father.The chief priest called the vigilante members who stormed the area,disarmed the man who was with a cutlass,flogged and arrested him.

Today at about 10 00 hours, a trigger happy policeman from the Nigeria police Force, attached to Area Command, Ahoad killed one Odeh Stephen along Ahoad in East West Road. He is a driver at the popular Ekeki Modern Motor Park. He hails from Sagbama.

Three students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State, have been confirmed dead while one is still unconscious after allegedly overdosing on a mixture of some drugs.

According to report, the four students were found on Tuesday at Sunshine Castle Hostel, Umuchima in Ihiagwa community, Owerri North LGA, Imo state. They had reportedly taken a mixture of tramadol, codeine, vodka and Indian hemp.

Two of them reportedly died instantly while the only lady amongst them and another male student were found unconscious and immediately moved to Federal Medical Centre Owerri and placed on life support there.The male student later died in the hospital, leaving only the lady still unconscious.

Reports claimed all four of them were found unclad, one was with a bathing soap in his hand while the other were lying on top of the lady. The room was filled with bottles of codeine, packets of tramadol, Indian hemp,vodka and other drugs.

Police men arrived at the hotel on Wednesday morning to take away the dead bodies and also arrest the lodge caretaker. Currently most occupants of the lodge have vacated the premises for fear of being arrested
