We agreed to the csectn, was wheeled into the theatre by 11pm, baby came out 11:22pm, dh saw his head that it was already formin one kind lump at the back n I head when they said his left leg was stucked in me. Thank God I went that path cos only God knowz wot cud av hapnd. Baby A'Ahad Olayiwola Owolabi came out weighing 4.03kg n wasn't affected by my rhesus factor cos that was my major concern. Thanks n God bless u all.

relax and read cos it is long.

On Wednesday 21 September, I woke up in the night and start browsing. immediately I feel some gush of water I jump down and check and it was not urine, I called my MIL and she confirmed that it was my amniotic fluid. fast forward to the morning we went to the hospital and I was admitted. the nurse checked me and said that I have not started dilating and I was disappointed. When the doctor came he checked me and said that I will not go home that I have to give birth. He said that they will wait for labor to start on its own and if It doesn't start by 12 midnight I will be induced.

I started looking for a way to hasten my labor. the doctor said that I should be confined to my bed so as to avoid more water loss. I started looking for a way to purge my self. I tried pepper soup, egusi soup, olive oil, none worked. I was frustrated. I was snapping at everybody including the nurses. fast forward to 12midnight I was induced. two tablet was inserted inside my VJay. I waited and by 12:30 the contractions start. it was still bearable. my MIL advice me not to shout that I should endure it all I agreed.

Then the real one start my waist, hips and thighs was on fire and I keep trying not to shout. I started walking about. it was really frequent like one minute apart. I started to vomit with each contractions. after vomiting everything inside including bile the urge to poo start and I started pooing. I pooed like five times and nothing is coming out again. with each contractions I will rush to the toilet and nothing will come out. I tried to walk its not helping, I tried to lie down and it was even worse. I was rolling on the floor. my mom in law was like get up you will get infection and I was like I don't care. I was moaning and the nurses said that I should stay with them. I was feeling sleepy. when the contractions stop, I will sleep, when it start I will woke up with a stronger urge to push. I remembered what they told us during ante natal that if u push before u are fully dilated ur cervix will swell up and it will make labor longer. so when it start I will shout pls o, stop o go inside. I don't know how I am dilating, nobody is checking me. when it became unbearable I carry my four finger and shook inside and it entered with much space left and I told the nurse that I am no longer laboring that I am pushing and I was taken to the labor room.

I lay down and spread my leg and the nurse shout see the baby's head, I was told not to push and they start arranging my things and their equipments. with another contraction they told me not to push but the head is still coming out. so they start telling me how to push, as I was listening with all my might head slip out and they rush and hold it and the rest of the body slip out. I didn't push. I was surprised. when the head is coming out it felt like a big poo u are trying to push out for so long is coming out. for me it was not painful, it was bliss compared to labour. when I start having the urge to push it was no longer painful. My baby's head teared me. my placenta was delivered and I ask the nurse to numb the area before sewing and she agreed. so sewing up was also bliss except the last part where she did not numb. it was more painful than labour.

The most surprised thing is that my baby that my six months scan said that it was a princess turned out to be a handsome prince. my hubby was mad with joy cos he want a boy. me am like he has to manage all the girl things I bought. he came out weighing 3kg at 4:27 am on Thursday 22 September 2016. he came two weeks earlier cos my edd is 8 October. he is perfectly healthy no special care or jaundice. All to the glory of God who made it possible.

I pray that all pregge mamas will have a hewbrew women delivery and the babies shall be perfectly alive and healthy, no complications. I also pray that all ATC mamas will receive their positive result soon and the cry of a baby shall fill their families.

i was motivated to push harder meanwhile she was already using her hand to help nd all this was within split of munutes nd at 1:08am i birthed my princess nd all the pain disappeared. Baby wighed 2.9kg, the team that delivered me really helped in motivating me.
My appreciation to baba God is unending, him alone could av done this, not because i prayed nd fasted , its just his mercy nd grace, am still in awe of him, i cried for joy after i put to bed, its not my first but it was as if i have never put to bed, dats the Joy a baby brings to one. Nd i pray that God will grant everyone that needs this kind of Joy, that God of awe nd wonders will surprise u all. hop someone learns from this.[/quote]Congrats ma. Am so happy for you. From about 7pm I was in serious pain oh! I tried to endure, but it was impossible as I was able to sSleep in one very awkward position for like 3omins and by midnight I was in so much pain I couldn't help myself. Started crying seriously, Dh woke by 1am saw me crying, said we should go to the hospital, I said no let's wait small. After like 30mins he said dress up let's go, by 2am we got to the hospital, Dr used Doppler to find lo's heartbeat, he was having a hard time. Finally he found d heartbeat but it sounded weak. He had this worried look on his face

Then he scolded me and said why didn't I come to the hospital since yesterday morning. I told him I thought it was lo sitting one kind that's why.
He said hmmmm.. ..it could be ovarian cyst. I'm going to admit you for observation. In the morning I'll send you for scan. In my mind I said I reject it oh

They conducted 3 Doppler scans on me before daybreak. Meanwhile I still de cry oh

Finally 8 am, doctor came, checked me, and said its degenerating fibroid. I was like na it this man say ovarian cyst? Mtcheeeew!

She gave me paracetamol injection for the pain and I did the scan. Lo is fine and was jumping upandan
But him head near the fibroid. Lol

Anyway fibroid is intra uterine and I'm about to be discharged with some pain meds.

Dh and I have been here since 2am so as I de reach house, na sleep sure pass.

Thank God your LO is fine. U will carry to term in Jesus name. Amen

Please mamas we are 32 weeks now and all of a sudden my feet are swollen. I am so worried because I have a 12 hrs flight on Sunday, please what can I do to reduce the swelling. Cc feddy27,sugah, ozycy.

I have the same issue with you oh so let's wait for more experienced mama's to put mouth in the matter but one of the things I do that helps a little is to use a pillow to raise my feet while sleeping or lying down

To God be the glory I delivered on the 13th September after 10years of waiting.

I just want to share my testimony to encourage someone who is going through stress in life or marriage, you are not alone. But don't give up.

I got married in 2006 at the age of 20yrs and since then nothing. In fact my in-laws said that I have destroyed my womb with abortion and lot more.

Out of desperation, i started buying all manner of baby things and at the end of the day I gave them out, I started charity works, birthdays at the orphanage etc

By January I missed my period went for test and it came out positive after years of humiliation. My sisters na so. Could have gotten everything I needed then but I said let me wait till I know the sex but before I knew the sex things were no longer as they were. 38wks I never buy anything. But I will always tell my dh don't worry the sacrifices of my past will always speak.

On the 7th I was paid 1 month in my place of work out of six months, dh got some cash. Hmmm I bought everything I needed in one day. We also kept for hospital.

Labour is a different story. Because my bags were not packed, I wasn't exercising so that the baby won't come. So I had a deep cut cos I dilated only 2cm but my cervix was open. So many things but God took control.

My baby came on hubby's birthday.

Motherhood is a whole different and lovely experience. Lord am grateful to you.

God is really awesome and He's truly the God of impossibilities. A big congratulations to you ma. I use you as a point of contact to other TTC mother's. Their testimony is near IJN

If i feel kicks or atleast wat is like one today d next day i FEEL will nothing y is it like dat? Or i dont no wat kicks are again. i tap my tummy sometimes to no if he or she wil kick or make any sound but no way.

hmmmmmmm. Cant wait for my lo to be in my arms. Never even my a pin for my baby sef. and am team Dec.

Maybe you should go for a scan. with that u will be sure everything is cool

I give birth this morning to a bouncing baby boy via VD at 37w6 days. baby was weighing 3.0kg.

I was induced at 12am and give birth by 4:27am help me thank God.

Stephmiracle, Pele teamie... dat's the package that comes with the last days. me too I don't sleep at night, so I kuku open my eyes and start my sleep in the morning. Just manage, it wil soon be over. The baby is resting on the bladder.

Stephmiracle it's absolutely normal to pee often as the weight of your baby rests on your bladder so you'll always get the urge to go to the bathroom. Just endure you may however reduce the frequency you drink at night to. Take care.

@feddy27, my cappo, I hail you ma. My ranting this morning is that I barely get enough sleep because of too much urinating. I thought waddling mamas are expected to get enough sleep while preggy since they might not be able to do so during vigilante but mine seems impossible coupled with my work. I take water like every 20 to 30 minutes whether in the middle of the night or day because I normally feel dehydrated and I always have the urge to wee that often. in fact the matter tire me. And if I decide not to take water to reduce my visiting the toilet, I will start feeling like fainting. Biko experienced mama's, does any of you experience the same thing or have any advice for me?.... Team October for painless and stressless deliveries

Put to bed to my princess this morning , this can only be God. Thanks mamas for the e-support. Cerclage was removed at 37 weeks but didnt put till 39weeks 5days.even though they said there was funnelling after Cerclage. Pls mamas help me thank baba God
