Who is still up? Birth Alert!! My Prince came on the 14th of November via scheduled CS weighing 3.7kg. His name is actually Prince. He came on my parents wedding anniversary. Lost my mum so I am so happy to have my baby remind me of her. My baby sleeps like a lamb. No vigilante yet and he doesn't cry. Congrats ma. God bless him |
oshey01:Congrats ma |

It is well ma. God will give you double for your trouble. It won't be long and you will carry to term when God confirms it and this will be sooner than you expect |
ultimatebunmi1:My dear, don't be confused cos it is more accurate to work with your LMP. Secondly, scans done in your first trimester is normally more accurate and in sync with your LMP than scans done later on so I feel u should ignore the EDD of this last scan |
TwinBlessings:So sorry ma'am. A very big welcome to you. May you carry to term and deliver safely IJN. Amen |
helovesme:Thanks so much ma |

My B.S My date according to LMP passed and I wasn't happy about it. My doctor said I should come for induction on the 14th day if I don't fall into labour but I told him I will rather come on the 10th or 11th day and he agreed. On 26th of October, I was about going to work when I noticed that some liquid has left my body, I rushed back into the house and told dh who now said I should wait for him to dress up so that we can visit the hospital. On getting to the hospital around 9am, the doctor checked me and said I was 2cm dilated. I was delighted so he asked me to go and maybe come back later. I went home, climbed the stairs the much I could and started timing the contractions I was having which were 4 - 5 mins apart. I went back to the hospital around 9pm, got checked and was told am still at 2cm and that kind of discouraged me. The doctor asked me to go home but I told him that I was in so much pains and can't sleep even if I go home so he asked me to stay back. Around 11pm, I was checked and was said to be in 3cm but my BP has risen to 170iish and fetal heart beat was 135, one of the nurses on duty encouraged me and asked me to be dancing to a music playing from the phone. I was checked again by 2am, I was 5cm and my BP has gone low to 140iish but fetal heart beat still reduced to 132. I progressed till around 9am on Thursday when I became 8cm but fetal heart beat was now 126. I was given the hot drip which in less than 1hr, I was in 10cm and ready to push. Prior to this time, I didn't know my baby was this big cos the scan I went between 7-8 months told me the baby's weight was 2.98kg. The doctor broke my water and poo filled everywhere. The doctor listened for the fetal heart beat but couldn't find, he asked the nurse to check but she didn't find either. He also checked with one electronic device but didn't find and that was when he told me that we will be entering the theater and called my dh to come and do the paper work . I was in so much pains coupled with the contractions that were still coming, the doctor told me the baby was distressed and as such, he will only numb my tummy area to an extent and will not give me sleeping medication so that the baby doesn't give up. He gave me some injections on my tummy and started the process but it only reduced the pains a little but I still felt so much pains and that made me to struggle and they tied my hands and feet. All I was shouting was JESUS, SON OF DAVID HAVE MERCY ON ME. I begged God not to allow my suffering of 9 months to be in vain. The doctor shouted on me not to allow my child to die with the way am struggling but the pains were unbearable. He finally brought out my LO who wasn't crying when he came out but the other doctor took him and beat him till he cried out. I was given sleeping medications before stitching me up but before I slept off, I saw my fair child crying out and that was all I wanted to hear. I came out of the theatre finally and heard that my baby was 5.5kg and he really looked like a baby of 2 months which people were saying that I couldn't have been able to birth naturally . All the same, I just want to say that God heard my prayers and consoled me with a cute son. Sometimes, when I look at him, i just shed tears. He is worth every pain I went through |
Yeah... I finally finished responding to my notifications. Thanks my E-sisters for the likes, shares, prayers and mentions. A big congratulations to all the mamas that have delivered already and to the waddling mamas. God bless our LO'S. I will soon come and tell the story behind my heavy 5.5kg baby |
