Thanks a lot Stephmiracle for the recommendation. I was scared giving him sha wen I saw it was for 1year and above but I had to use dix my sense to administer 2.5ml since from 1-6years starts from 5ml.

Good thing is the medicine is sweet, so I didn't have any drama getting it down his throat like others I have been giving. We take in just 1ml and the rest is jex fisi for bed.

Benignasweety, normal cough syrups I gave my Ds also refused to stop the cough he had. In fact, it seemed to worsen it till I got Piriton triple action for Cough, catarrh & cold and right now, the cough has really reduced well

Testimony Time!
Initially I didn't take the use of Carbage for the treatment of engorgement as a result of weaning serious because I couldn't fathom how a mere vegetable in my own thinking could do that magic. So, I suffered terrible pains and engorgement for close to one week after weaning my baby which made me to try out plenty things like putting face towel in the freezer and using on my breast afterwards, taking up to 1 card of diclofenac, took 2 tabs of Parlodel Bromicriptine that was given me by a pharmacist but I couldn't continue cos it was giving me plenty headache and making me dizzy. So, after almost One week of all these trials with nothing working. I had to heed to the Carbage advice which made me to wear bra with Carbage inside it for 3 days on a stretch. The only time I removed my bra was when I want to have my bath and to tell you the truth, my engorged breast has come down and the pain has reduced drastically.
So, I said I must come and testify and thank all our mamas for the wisdom you have and share.
You might not understand the positive of effect of the things you do but have it at the back of your minds that you are all life savers. God bless us all

Sorry for the pains, I think the swollen breast lasted about 4 days. I actually put a damp face towel in the freezer and placed in my bra. It really helped maybe you should try it.

I think its much oh. Get ORS and be giving her frequently to ensure she's hydrated enough cos of what is leaving her body. I also feel you should visit her doctor if it gets worse. Hope this helps

Good evening mamas. Please I weaned my son since on Sunday and up until now, I've been feeling terrible pains. Though the pains has reduced a bit because I've been taking diclofenac since yesterday. One of my major concern about it now is that my breast is still as swollen and hard as a rock. Biko mamas that haveweaned their Lo's at any point in time should tell me when the swollen breast came down. Abi na only me waka for this kind thing?
