Mamas good evening. Please my son has NLA. I don't know the name in English oh. But just understand that its that stuff that peels the skin of a child and makes it look redish especially areas like his private part and his armpit. Please what measures do you suggest I take?. I have been rubbing him all this antifungal, antibacterial and antiinflammatory(Triple action) creams like Skineal but the thing still dey there but I guess it just made the stuff not be peppering him so much cos he doesn't cry when you touch the affected areas

Rant Time
My doctor sent me for scan, scan said baby's weight was 3.38kg at 38weeks shocked I was consoling myself that I just have only 2 weeks to go and baby's weight won't skyrocket much, only for me to take the scan result to my doctor whom after examining me with his hands ooo, said the scan result is incorrect that my baby's weight is nothing less that 3.5kg that I should get ready to push shocked.
I avoided food for that whole day and was depressed but thank God I stumbled on Giddyperson's former diary, it has kept me busy for days. Thanks Giddyperson, you are just a good writer. Regards to boyfriend turned fiance turned husband grin and kisses to Giddybaby.

Mama pls you don't need to be depressed. What matters is that you and your Lo are alive and healthy at the end of the day. It's well sis

mydreams25:
Good afternoon mothers, pls I need advice from experienced people. Here goes my story.
Am a mother of two( first is almost 3years, second is almost 7months). I don't have a job, been seriously looking for one that is family friendly but haven't gotten, my dh has someone that can help me with a banking job but we are both afraid of how to cope with it and the kids but the present economic situation is not smiling now. I don't have any help I, my dh and 2children stay alone but my parents reside in the same state with us ( Ilorin to be precise). My question now is those that have worked in a bank or working in a bank without any help, pls how do you cope? I don't have any experience with banking job but I do hear its very stressful for family women but if I have reasons to back it up I will rethink.
Let me add that my dh's job too is demanding and closes 6:30pm almost everyday. So pls should I go for this job or keep waiting for better one if yes pls I need advice on how to manage my home with it. Pls I need a reply based on experience.
Thanks n anticipation

Nne, am not a banker oh but am teaching right now in a private school while looking for another job even if its banking job. Presently, banking job is no longer as stressful as it was before because of internet banking. My immediate elder sis works with a bank but comes back before 6.30pm. Am not saying banking is not tasking but private school teaching is also tasking cos some private school teachers even goes to work before bankers so as to wait for parents who brings their kids to school early. You might close by 4pm as a teacher but you will be so worn out cos private school managements with over stress you with work load . For instance, I teach from JS1 to SS3 which means that I write lesson notes, prepare for the lesson, teach, mark and record for 6 classes.
So, I believe everything you make up your mind to do is doable(If there's any word like that). There must be a way to manage your home and kids when you make up your mind. It might not be easy but its possible cos other's have been there as well

Another reason could be from clothes spread out to dry.occasionally flies perch on them and lay eggs .The eggs metarmorphose into maggots and if lucky flies.
thats why we are advised not to leave our clothes overnite outside, cover tgem when outside, shake them well before bringing them in or iron before wearing them.

last last na God dey save us ooo.pele

God bless you mama. Its still possible to be from cloths that was spread. I will be more careful with his clothes and belongings. God go save us oh

Stephmiracle I read your last update, I don't think the maggot entered his body cos you backed him while teaching so biko don't quit your nwa teacher job.
Many things can cause it:

* A bedwetted mattress that wasn't sun dried and was infested by a fly(it could be in your house or maybe where you laid him)
* damp clothes even wrapper
* where you kept him to play.

You are even lucky the maggot no multiply and you didn't even have to apply red oil with salt (it'll(maggot) come out to lick it) around the place to bring it out. I don't know if he needs antibiotics or tetanus injection, maybe you should ask his paed.

Good morning mama's

God bless you mama for the response. Its definitely not a bedwetted mattress cos he doesn't sleep in the night without diaper and I normally spread mackintosh when he sleeps with his bum bum open in the after noon. Its not also a damp wrapper but I believe it must be definitely during the times I brought him out from the flat to play with our neighbours. All the same, I no go quit my Nwa teacher job oh cos I still need the chikini pay. Lol. Thank you so much ma for the concern. God bless you

I tire ooo, they even serve us plenty milk with pap in the hospital

Sis ehhh, this milk thing has really cost me a fortune. After the birth of my Lo with Cs, the doctor said I should take anything including milk and continue eating well cos I had shortage of blood and only took one pint of blood which was not enough. I went home after birth and and since i neither have a mother nor a mother in law, my inexperienced single SILS banned me from taking milk or eating any proteinous food saying that they were told that it will make pus come out from the incision site. Since I even lost appetite and no one was forcing me to eat, i relaxed and thought its better for me so as to loose preggy weight. That was how I was admitted in the hospital again 3 weeks postpartum because I developed severe cough which I didn't know was as a result of shortage of blood and i stopped sleeping at night. I couldn't also walk for 1 minute without panting and breathing like am having an ashtma attack. In fact God saved me cos the doctor said that I would have developed heart failure if I didn't come to the hospital earlier as a result of the shortage blood cos my heart was overworking. I was later transfused again before I was discharged. The thought behind this my long story is that telling people not to drink milk after Cs in this generation is wrong

Cc: All mamas who are interested in after Cs taking of milk. Lol
