Lemme try this aloe-vera ( to think we have in surplus at my parents' , I only drink and use for my face)cos I need him to stop sucking his thumb.....

Please I've been thinking of an effective way to wean my 1 year + son so I tried rubbing Bitter leaf on my tips so that when he tries sucking, he will taste the bitterness and stop sucking but my Oga just continued sucking the thing as if I even added sugar. Lol. The thing just weak me

Biko mamas, kindly give me effective suggestions on how to wean this boy cos breastfeeding don tire me and he seems to always hope on breastmilk which might be the reason why he normally eats little these days

Rejoice with me, my pink-lip princess made her grand entrance this morning at 7:50am, weighing 3.8kg at 39 weeks (by LMP) via ceaserran section.

It was purely the wonders of God as fluid was completely dried.
Mummy and baby alive and well, Daddy over the moon with ecstasy, grandparents rejoicing over the new title

Depending on the quantity, go with 5,4,3,2,1..
5cups of millet
4cups of joro
3cups of corn (yellow or white)
2cups of soybean (that's if you want to grind it together, I did mine separately)
1cup of groundnut.


Pick dirts from all the ingredients and fry the cereals together (millet,joro,corn) till its brown and the corn start doing like popcorn kpom kpom.. Then bring it down..
Fry the soyabeans till brown kwa and keep that one aside cuz of the peeling back like groundnut, the grinders go EPP you break and blow it if u want sha (me I want)
Fry the groundnut and blow away the peel, (that one easy nah) Then I mix everything together aside soyabeans cuz I added orisirisi to that one (unripe plantain and crayfish) while grinding.

All dix frying, abeg no use oil o... na jex like roasting but without sand sand....


Tell the millers that it's baby food and they will be extra careful. They should grind it wella till its like powder. Then when you get home, buy a sieve. Not all this rice sieve o, better double sieve that can only allow powder to pass through every other thing (naa akuroo onwe ya). After sieving, your Tombrown is ready!!!

What should I do? Also, will giving her tea once a day have any health disadvantage on her?

I don't think there's much disadvantage oh. Just continue giving her the tea with plenty milk which will help in replacing the nutrients her body lost

The acalypha flower is a very common plant. Some people plant it to decorate the front of their houses. I'm quite sure you must have seen it before only you didn't know the name of the plant and it's medicinal uses.
Ask around or you can buy from the herb sellers.
Google for red acalypha images so you have more views of what it looks like.

look for the red acalypha flower. Boil the leaves and mix the water with your son's bath water.
