I gave birth to my princess on the 3rd of June through an emergency CS... EDD from LMP was supposed to be 13th July

Everything about my pregnancy was going so well for me (no morning sickness, no vomiting, no spitting and so on). I was just feeling like a baby girl till around 31 weeks or thereabout when I had that pain above my stomach that couldn't allow me sleep... It subsided and came back after about 2 weeks, it was so severe I rushed to a health center close to me to complain and after some tests they said it was ulcer... They also said I had malaria and typhoid... I was given antibiotics injections and drugs with malaria injections and some prenatals... The pain went but I noticed that I became so weak with serious pain on my lap and calf when I try to get up or sit.
I went for my antenatal and when they checked my vitals they noticed I had developed high blood pressure with protein in my urine... I was given drugs for it and asked to come the next week to check again.. When I returned the next week it was still there and that was how I was referred to a general hospital to go and get the baby out immediately... They said it was a sign of preeclampsia which was a big risk for mother and child...
Mehn... My heart cut... I was like how?.. Is that how they use to just go and get baby out?... That was how me and my husband went to another hospital to go and get another opinion...
We got there and gave the referral letter and explained... The doctor said that the hospital was actually right.. He said they'll perform their own test and if it comes out same, they'll have to get the baby out to save our lives... I was admitted that day and they carried out a scan and some tests including liver function and kidney.. I was asking myself what I was doing there because I had no symptom of anything.. I felt very fine and strong... Results were out the next day.. No damage to kidneys and liver but I still had high blood pressure and protein in the urine, infact it increased sef...
Everything just started happening so fast..
The next thing I knew, they were screaming that they had to carry out the delivery immediately, they were like "this baby should have been out since yesterday".. That was how they gave us drugs to go and buy and bills to pay for the delivery and other things... They gave me injections and drugs.. There was one particular injection that was so painful, I cried as they were injecting me (till now those spots in my bum is still swollen and painful when pressed)..... That was how I saw myself being wheeled to the theatre o (in my mind I was like wetin dey happen sef, for crying out loud I'm very fine).. The operation was carried out and my baby came out weighing 1.3kg at 34weeks (that was too small for her gestational age, I guess the BP restricted her growth). She was taken to the NICU and placed in the incubator with oxygen and stuff... She stayed in the NICU for 2 weeks and some days.. The whole delivery process and aftermath was painful and traumatic for me..
Throughout her stay in the NICU, I went to the hospital everyday to spend some hours and give them my expressed breast milk to feed her. They didn't allow me touch her till after about a week when they said I had to start doing KMC with her.. She was so tiny I was even scared of holding her so I won't hurt her.. She finally came home last week weighing 1.4kg. She's very strong and healthy, the only thing is just for her to add weight.. I pray she adds more rapidly than expected.

Errmm... Remember the scan I did said it was a male.. Well.. it was wrong, the baby turned out to be a beautiful girl..

Who else is experiencing vajaina wall pain oo,my own don' swell like pomo especially early in the morning.hope una don buy baby things reach 90% and hospital requirements. May God provide for us all,pls remember to take ur drugs ,do some little exercise in btwn and pray oooo

Amen... I'm not experiencing the vajaina wall pain but All I can say for now is that it is well...

Congratulations to all mamas that have birthed their LOs and those of us waiting ... May God keep, protect and provide for us all... May He grant us sound health and make our babies grow strong and healthy... None shall have reasons to run from pillar to post because of health issues or complications... Amen

This fourth trimester is no joke at all.pls I have some questions so pls do reply or share ur experience with me.I gave birth through Cs two weeks ago and I am still seeing blood. I just want to know how long will I continue to see the blood or when will it stop and also when can I resume sleeping on my tummy ?
An aunt of mine told me to mix original ogogoro with uda and uziza seed to drink that it will wash my Tommy of every bad blood pls o is this safe? Has anybody done this before here?

Funny enough a woman also advised me to take this exact same mixture after baby comes... She said her aunty who's a midwife told her it will flush out all the stuff and make my tummy flat and I just said Ok... When I told MIL about it she advised not to... That the only thing she did after all her 6 children was to take slightly hot cup of water every morning, nothing else... she didn't tie her stomach, she didn't press it with hot water or even sit on hot water... she only drank hot water every morning and her stomach went back to being very flat... Even in her 60s now her stomach is still flat...

As in ehn... Sometimes when I want to bend I'll just feel a restriction under my rib... I'll have to rub my head for him to move so I can do what I want to...

Sorry mama... The one I experienced last week was serious pain whenever I lie on any side or when I take in a deep breath ... The pain was between the top of my abdomen and just below my ribs.. I don't know what it is and it's not even heart burn...

the Karu-Karshi road.

It's a place one goes weekends to
buy takeaway or you seat there and
chop as you like.

The place is called A1 spot if I recollect
exactly. It's on the outskirts of Jikwoi
towards Kurudu on the right hand side
of the road.

If you know the general area, It's a place
you can't miss because there are close
to 10 women, side by side, roasting
big Catfish and croaker, so, competition
for customers is high.

A plate of fish and chip here of around
1800 to 2500 will cost you not less than
5 to 6k at Abuja.

Good day Mama's, pls who have had itchy vagina with creamy odourless discharge during pregnancy. Pls how did you treat it. It happened with my first but not as serious as this. I can't even sleep � nor sit for two hours without it itchy me. Pls I need help, what do I do?.
Note: I only experience this during pregnancy. Pls help me o.

I'll advise you complain to your doctor... Odourless discharge might be normal in some stages of pregnancy but itching may signal something else...

OK Una evening.. This is KingNeropapas aka DP, that is to say Daddy Phoenix ... I wan share our BS!!!

I for don nack una the tory but I see say plenty dust been raise for here and be like say no be right time, plus I've been doing daddy duties!
My wife's pregnancy journey was very smooth and stress free.. We TTC'd for a year and God answered us July last year. We registered under a scheme the moment we realised she was preggy. I chose the scheme cos private hospitals in Port Harcourt can really be expensive.
I didn't miss any ANC session with my wife.. I have the time so I could narrate all these stories better.
Let's fast forward to week 33 which was a bit scary cos wify had a high BP which was handled with few medications. We were given 2 EDDs, 15th and 18th April... We did more than 8 scans during pregnancy, that's because my wife works at an ultra sound center at a point, I had to caution her. Most of the scan said 15th, while two said 18th.
Sunday 10th of April started as a normal cool Sunday, the day started with BD which madam initiated , I have to give in cos una know na..!
By 2pm that day, We were in the sitting room watching TV.. I laid on the sofa, while madam sat pon di floor. She then stood up to get something from the bedroom, that was when she noticed water gush! She called me and I was like so what next? She said we wait! Ngwanu, we dey wait. I been don pack bag keep since. I then call my neighbour, a mother of 4 to come help check my wife, she came and said yes.. Water e yaff break. Madam don wear comfit pad and we dey wait. Could you all believe that after two hours, with the water still running at intervals, there's no contraction whatsoever. All other signs that were supposed to follow refuse to show up. Wify was still laidat.. I come turn doctor dey ask her.. How are you feeling now? She said nothing. Ha.. Nothing ke. Oya begin walk upandan na.. She did and still nothing. Wo after about an hour, making it wakati Meta (3 hours) that water haff broken.. I told her, we're going to the hospiru . We got there about 6pm. They confirmed water haff broke but service sorry cervix yaff not open. Ha, my village people, not today pls .. Well they monitored her all through the night, Baby's heartbeat was fine and she was fine too.. They said its normal in FTMs for water to break and contractions could start 12-18 hours later.
24hrs has passed still nothing. We were then sent for scan at about 10am.. The result showed baby was 39weeks old that day with EDD being 18th April. But the woman said the baby has to come out within the next 48hrs. Ok kila mase bayi? What's next? The doctor said we wait till night that if no show, they'll induce her.
So I stepped out to stroll while wify went back to her bed. Let's than 30mins,i came back to the labor ward, my wife is already on oxygen and drip.. Ha edakun, wazall this? They said the Baby's heartbeat is fainting abi going up! Ejo, pardin?? Don't let me faint here!! My wife has never been sick or admitted in her almost 3 decades of existence.. So the whole oxygen thing traumatised her. I calmed her and told her its just oxygen and its for her and the baby.. I now asked, didn't we just do a scan and everything is fine?? Why on earth is the Baby's heartbeat going up.. to where? At this point, I was scared too but didn't show it. My wife was on drip cos she was weak at this point. My younger brother called me and I narrated everything to him.. That's when he gingered that we shouldn't wait till midnight for the inducement. I then met the doctor and spoke to him calmly. He said well, CS is the next thing that if we wait till that midnight, something could go wrong.. Ha.. Ejo sir, Eni soribu . He said if they induce her, it may not work so well will still come to the CS.
I say ese sir.. Leave inducement out of this.. Let's go straight to CS.. That's how my wife was prepared for it!
At exactly 6pm, 11th April, 2022, Our CP.. Crown Prince was brought out of the operation room .. I didn't know how to feel. He greeted me cry.. I said welcome son !
Ejo, Where's my wife?? After about Anada 15 minutes, I was called to come and assist to carry my wife out of the operation room. Stepping in, I saw my beautiful wife smile at me. I kissed her pon di forehead .... Chai, see love in the theater .
My boy weighed 3.5kg and 50cm tall. We left the clinic after 3days...with baby, mother and daddy doing Fantabulous
All Glory to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who saw us through the journey.. May His name alone be Praised... Amin

moms help me and thank God, i gave birth this morning, baby girl������,my water bust this morning, took hot bath that morning, rushed to maternity, the midwife checked me that i am 6cm,no sign of pains, na the woman put drip for me,30mins i gave birth, i thank God, i am feeling like were they pour very chilled water, for the rest mummys, God that did it for me will do it for you all, sharp delivery

My God has done it again.
My beautiful baby daughter arrived on Thursday 21st of April via ELCS, weighing 3.6kg at 37wks 6days.
@Cappo Expectantmom and my fellow May preggie mamas, I don port o!
