Unless you can email the artists and let them know you downloaded for free. If they give permission to keep, then you can keep them. I don't know if they would respond or not, but you could use twitter. A lot of artists do respond to people on twitter. keep it up |

97.Jepthah's daughter. That one was a vow of a burnt offering. You are right it is aa burnt offering but what type? see below Many have supposed that Jephthah offered his daughter as a human sacrifice, and a literal reading of the text may support that view. But if that is true, some difficult questions are raised. Jephthah was regarded as a great hero and deliverer of Israel, and even his sacrifice of his daughter is treated in a way that suggests the author of Judges viewed it as a commendable act. In Hebrews 11:32–35 Jephthah is used as one of the examples of great faith. Would this case be true if he had engaged in human sacrifice, an act viewed as one of the greatest of abominations in ancient Israel? Why does Jephthah’s daughter “bewail her virginity” (Judges 11:37) rather than mourn the approaching loss of her life? After Jephthah had fulfilled his vow of sacrificing his daughter, the text states that “she knew no man” (v. 39). Bible scholars have suggested an explanation that adequately answers these questions. “Jephthah was compelled by his vow to dedicate his daughter to Jehovah in a lifelong virginity. . . . The entreaty of the daughter, that he would grant her two months’ time, in order that she might lament her virginity upon the mountains with her friends, would have been marvellously out of keeping with the account that she was to be put to death as a sacrifice. To mourn one’s virginity does not mean to mourn because one has to die a virgin, but because one has to live and remain a virgin. But even if we were to assume that mourning her virginity was equivalent to mourning on account of her youth. . . . ‘it would be impossible to understand why this should take place upon the mountains. It would be altogether opposed to human nature, that a child who had so soon to die should make use of a temporary respite to forsake her father altogether. It would no doubt be a reasonable thing that she should ask permission to enjoy life for two months longer before she was put to death; but that she should only think of bewailing her virginity, when a sacrificial death was in prospect, which would rob her father of his only child, would be contrary to all the ordinary feelings of the human heart. Yet, inasmuch as the history lays special emphasis upon her bewailing her virginity, this must have stood in some peculiar relation to the nature of the vow. . . .’ . And this is confirmed by the expression, to bewail her virginity ‘upon the mountains.’ ‘If life had been in question, the same tears might have been shed at home. But her lamentations were devoted to her virginity, and such lamentations could not be uttered in the town, and in the presence of men. Modesty required the solitude of the mountains for these. . . .’ . And so, again, the still further clause in the account of the fulfilment of the vow, ‘and she knew no man,’ is not in harmony with the assumption of a sacrificial death. This clause would add nothing to the description in that case, since it was already known that she was a virgin. The words only gain their proper sense if we connect them with the previous clause, he ‘did with her according to the vow which he had vowed,’ and understand them as describing what the daughter did in fulfilment of the vow. The father fulfilled his vow upon her, and she knew no man; i.e. he fulfilled the vow through the fact that she knew no man, but dedicated her life to the Lord, as a spiritual burnt-offering, in a lifelong chastity. . . . And the idea of a spiritual sacrifice is supported not only by the words, but also most decisively by the fact that the historian describes the fulfilment of the vow in the words ‘he did to her according to his vow,’ in such a manner as to lead to the conclusion that he regarded the act itself as laudable and good. But a prophetic historian could never have approved of a human sacrifice.”
The last one, i skip am. Goshen, no problems, the teachings are welcome. Hopefully, they won't 'de-rail' the thread, if that's the right word to use. Q82. Revelation 5:1. What Is the Meaning of the Book Sealed with Seven Seals?“‘The book which John saw’ represented the real history of the world—what the eye of God has seen, what the recording angel has written; and the seven thousand years, corresponding to the seven seals of the Apocalyptic volume, are as seven great days during which Mother Earth will fulfill her mortal mission, laboring six days and resting upon the seventh, her period of sanctification. A Guy who has no job got married to a banker, despite his fears and several advices that it's not good to marry without a job.
Every month the girl would give the guy her full salary of N135k after removing her tithe. The guy would give the wife N20k for personal upkeep and the guy determined what happened to the remaining money.
This happened for three good years. There was happiness in the family and the wife never refused to do her primary home duties for that 3 years, despite wrong advice from friends that 'you can't be paying the bills and still be doing all the work'.
There was a particular month the guy used about N70,000 to travel from state to state for different interviews.
He finally got a job with a good firm in Port-Harcourt. His salary was N600,000 monthly for a start. He bought his first car (a brand new) for N4.5m, he gave d wife the car key, and continued to take public transport to work for about two years. Then he bought the second car for N6 million. Then he took the keys of the first car and gave his wife the keys of the second car. They were very happy.
They eventually moved into their own house after some few years.
One day, the wife was looking for some documents. Then she stumbled on a file neatly hidden, when she opened it, she saw her wedding picture when she was very slim in the first page of the file. She then saw that the document to the purchase of the land and every other thing in the house were all written in her name!
At the last page was the husband's wedding picture and a note written by him:
''MY WIFE IS ALL I HAVE GOT. NOT EVEN THIS HOUSE WORTH N24M AT THE TIME I BUILT IT IS MINE''.
This couple got married in 1998. Last Sunday was their wedding anniversary with two children a boy and a girl. |

Travel › Madman Gets Tired Of Naija, wants To Go To Europe by stepo707(op): 10:05am On Mar 06, 2012 |
A man suspected to be suffering from mental problem was overpowered Monday, by passengers after he had gained access to the most secure part of the international terminal, the airside, at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos. The man was said to have vandalised the boarding gate at the airport and gained access to the tarmac with the intention of boarding an aircraft to Europe. THISDAY gathered that on getting into the tarmac, the man, whose identity could not be ascertained, shouted, "I want to go abroad; I want to go to Europe. Please give way for me to go." His screaming caused stampede at the tarmac such that intending passengers feared the man was a terrorist and some of them began to scamper out of the area around the lunatic. But some of the courageous passengers approached him and others went to call security operatives who promptly apprehended him and took him away. From his bevahiour, his dressing and knack of breaking through barricades, instead of following the right place, prompted many to believe that the man was insane. This was later confirmed by those who got close to him. The General Manager, public affairs of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Akin Olukunle, who confirmed the incident in a telephone interview said the mad man had been arrested and handed over to the police for interrogation. Olukunle stated that if it were established that the 'passenger' was mentally challenged, the police would take him to the rehabilitation centre for treatment. "The arrested person was a lunatic who, wanted to travel out of the country by all means. But, he was immediately overpowered by the security operatives attached to the airport. After investigation, and if confirmed he was mad, he would be taken to a rehabilitation centre," Olukunle explained. Kai! Even mad man self don tire for Naija!!! http://allafrica.com/stories/201203060070.html |
