PoliticsRe: US Support Against Terror Won’t Undermine Nigeria’s Sovereignty – APC by Sterope(f): 9:09pm On Feb 04
A very simplified analysis of what actually happened on your latter point. So America centric.

On the first point, we know how they achieved that. Nuclear weapon tested on the poor non white local community. Sweet eh?!

Anyways, Banditry and terrorism are two different stories. Their modes of attack are different, too many factions involved, with its own agenda. They have had a taste of absolute power and would rather die than give it up.

Helinuse:
But then you failed to report about some full case:

America brought peace to China by military conquest of Japan

America brought peace to Europe by military conquest of Nazi Germany.

So, list any country that America operated in, and didn’t bring peace, and I will show you a country with the same name that has an ideology of v i o l e n n c e
PoliticsRe: US Support Against Terror Won’t Undermine Nigeria’s Sovereignty – APC by Sterope(f): 8:39pm On Feb 04
This a real fear. There hasn't been a success story that I know of not Afghanistan, not Iraq. Each faction fighting for its own interests with little care of the average man.

Moderator101:
I hope so.

Niger, Iraq and Chad had US troops on ground in their country all in the name of fighting terrorism.

Niger suspended its military agreement with the U.S.

Iraqi political factions and parliament votes have repeatedly demanded that U.S. forces leave Iraqi territory,

Chadian officials at one point threatened to expel U.S. troops from bases.

One common reason they all seem to have is that terrorism often got worse, not better.

I wonder why.

Foreign AffairsRe: Saif Al-islam Gaddafi Shot Dead In Libya by Sterope(f): 7:29pm On Feb 04
Did the Iranians living in Iran tell you that they wanted the Islamic regime out with the help of the US?

Libyans today would tell you they would have preferred Gaddafi over whatever it has turned to today.

Again, I can see you are one for the numerous West mouthpieces. You will be alright.

Nwaikpe:
So you know better than his people who killled him?

The same way you Nigerians are loving Iran better than the Iranians that want that izlamic regime out.
Foreign AffairsRe: Saif Al-islam Gaddafi Shot Dead In Libya by Sterope(f): 7:26pm On Feb 04
I reckon that it isn't true support.

But support against the West? Yes

Or do you like the new Libya?

Gaddafi offered to step down, but the West warned other African leaders that the decision had already been made and that they could be caught in the crossfire if they went to Libya.

Libya played a major role in what is happening in Northern Nigeria and the Sahel today. So yes, better Gaddafi than what parts of Africa have degenerated into. Which is funny when people complain about Islamic terrorism and cannot comprehend the numerous factors that have led to it.

Do you also know that some European countries have paid Libyan militias to keep illegal immigrants out? Those groups have been accused of capturing migrants and using or selling them as captives.

SportsRe: Driver’s Son Reveals The Cause Of Anthony Joshua Road Accident by Sterope(f): 12:01am On Jan 06
Cause and effect, what a cowardly way to avoid accountability. Yet you had the audacity to use "purportedly and convoluted".

Prisons shouldn't exist abi. Since no one has free will, men that keeled and stole body parts for rituals, rvpists, kidnappers. LET THEM BE FREE because it is CAUSE AND EFFECT. No free will, no accountability.

I should have known when I saw "FreeIgboho". No human being who truly understands cause and effect would want Igboho free. Shows a limitation somehere.

FreeIgboho:
With due respect your (purportedly) Islamic logic is convoluted. The driver did not choose anything - including his own actions. They were a result of cause and effect going all the way to his birth. Why didn't AJ use his freewill and decide he wanted to remain in the front sit as he initially was. Or the truck driver use his to decide he'd park the truck a different way?
SportsRe: Driver’s Son Reveals The Cause Of Anthony Joshua Road Accident by Sterope(f): 3:47pm On Jan 05
In Islamic theology, death occurs only when a person’s appointed term; it cannot be brought forward nor delayed. At the same time, humans act with free will and are fully responsible for choosing reckless behaviour, which Islam clearly forbids because it endangers life. Therefore, the reckless driver doesn't escape responsibility by appealing to qadr (destiny) their freely chosen action becomes the means through which a divinely known outcome occurs, while blame and accountability remain entirely theirs.

FreeIgboho:
So where does freewill fit into this?
SportsRe: Driver’s Son Reveals The Cause Of Anthony Joshua Road Accident by Sterope(f): 3:44pm On Jan 05
When their time comes, they can neither delay it nor advance it by a single moment. - (Qur’an 7:34)

This is philosophically complicated. I doubt it is the kind of topic any non-Muslim and some Muslims would understand so you should have explained better in away that they don't assume we shouldn't blame the driver for reckless driving.

I thought this girl has sense and knows not to fight Chinedu over those kids. Your ex-nanny gave you an update and you rushed to post it online. Exposing her and her family to danger.

You agreed you take drugs to satisfy him. So how do you expect a court to grant you full or primary custody?

The same man that locked up your brother and you all were running from pillar to post is who you want to fight legally? An international lawyer and senator. You were probably too young when FFK and Precious entertained us, but you will learn firsthand.

Nice try!

But there is no genocide

Someday you'll also hear this same group of people say "I denied and tried to cover up genocide on my own countrymen because I don't like President Trump".

There's no shame for this group of people called Agbadorians. You praised Buhari for 8 whole years as the best, then turned around soon after he left office to say he messed up the economy. Truly, no shame.

Must you blame others for your voting decision? What happened to "I voted for him because he was my tribe though I didn't think he was the best candidate, but unfortunately it didn't favor me as I expected?". Let people know you for who you truly are.

PoliticsRe: A Summary Of How Banditry Started In Zamfara State by Sterope(f): 11:50am On Dec 03, 2025
My first real exposure to the history of banditry was the story of a group that operated in Ilorin in the pre-colonial era. And honestly, the way they worked back then is almost identical to how bandits operate today.

They would storm a compound, seize the man’s wives and children, and then demand ransom. If he couldn’t pay, they didn’t hesitate; they sold the captives into slavery. Some of those slaves were eventually pushed into the wider Arab slave routes disappearing forever.

No, there isn't.

I really suggest you read up a lot on ment of these causes. Both sides have managed to drag religion into an issue that would still have happened if both groups were of the same faith.
