First of all, healthy eating requires eating carbs with protein. We enjoy our soups without meat as well. However, depth and flavour in food often come from certain key elements like: 1. Protein and its fat – especially in foods like butter, cream, sour cream, and buttermilk These are particularly important in baked goods as well. Sour cream and buttermilk can make the difference between ordinary cake (like many Nigerian cakes) and a great cake. 2. Fermented foods – such as sour cream, buttermilk, or fermented locust beans (iru, ogiri). 3. Smoked foods - proteins included 4. Dried proteins – like stockfish, crayfish 5. Herbs and spices – including flavourful scotch bonnet peppers; Cameroon peppers; ginger Southern Nigerian cooking draws heavily on this mix: fresh protein, dried and smoked protein, fermented locust beans, herbs, and spices. Leave these out and the soup may still be edible, but it will lack depth and a proper flavour profile. In Northern cooking, flavour a little on spices but still not enough for the threshold, which is why Indian foods use a lot of spices, ghee, yoghurt to achieve a depth. Without that, the dishes can feel too plain or ordinary. Try and make an okro soup with a rich goat, beef, turkey, or chicken stock (arranged them on the strength of their depth), then make one without. The difference in depth and taste is immediate. It is not a religion of peace. It is a religion of submission. You have studied the religion and that is your bias conclusion? You must really hate the truth. themanderon: |
1..Yeah because they are funded and enabled by Judeo Christians. Jews and Christians coming together to enable Islam terrorism. How sad! 2. You have to disingenuous to hold 0.000000001% responsible for the actions for a few. When Muslism also make up for over 80% of their terrorist victims. 3. Everyone keeps forgetting that western interference is also a factor that drives these lunat....,,ics . Again back your Judeo Christian people. A OneCandleAway: |
Yeah including poor amalekites newborns and children, animals. What were their crimes? It wasn't just the Amaliketes you forgot to tell us about other ones like the Midianites (Numbers 31:7–18), Amorites (Deuteronomy 2:34), Canaanites (Deuteronomy 20:16–17), Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites (Deuteronomy 20:17), Bashanites under King Og (Deuteronomy 3:3–6), Jericho (Joshua 6:17–21), Ai (Joshua 8:24–26), and Hazor (Joshua 11:10–14). The Quran never ordered violence just for its sake, the kill term appeared once in the Qur'an from Muslims agaisnt Pagans. It was because they kept breaking peace treaties and then if read in it's entirety with the rest of the Quran. It is still not genocide. That chapter s only chapter of the Qur'an that doesn't start with "in the name of God, the Most Compassionate and Most Merciful" which scholars agree shoes God's anger against the polytheists for the constant breach. chiboycue, I remembered one point ![]() For your so-called wild interpretation, guess which descendants and followers of the descendants have been expelled from over 100 countries? Yes, the followers of Israel! And not even true descendants, since they share no blood with Israel..Meanwhile, the other descendants across the Middle East also faced trials for example, when they were driven out of Jerusalem by the Roman Empire ans the likes as well PS. This is not condoning bigotry; however, your so-called interpretation against Ishmael actually turns out the other way round in history. |
Are you sure? Because Jesus, if he were God, commanded or allowed more than four genocides already, including the killing of newborns and pagans just for being pagans (Numbers 31:17–18; Deuteronomy 2:34; Deuteronomy 20:16–17; 1 Samuel 15:3). That is worse than the Qur’anic command to “kill” (because of constant breach of peace treaty against Muslims) or “fight.” The Qur’an says we should only fight those who fight us, and if they stop we should let it go (Qur’an 2:190–193; 8:61). It also says that we must not be unjust or unkind to those who do not fight us because of our religion nor drive us from our homes (Qur’an 60:8–9). Let us be mindful of lies. IPDGP: |
Mark 16:9-20 never existed You quoted Mark 16:15 Earliest manuscripts according to Eusebius (4th c.) and Jerome (late 4th c.) commented that almost all reliable Greek manuscripts of their time ended Mark at 16:8. Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus also stopped at verse 8. These are all the earliest manuscripts of the Bible we have so far. There were some Bible that actually pointed it out as footnotes that they were probably additions. Jesus was sent to all the nations of Israel never the gentiles Jesus’ mission was for the nations of Israel. All of his disciples were Jewish, and he commanded them along with the people to uphold the laws given to Moses which were to Israelites. So when he said, “proclaim to all nations,” it wasn’t about the entire world. He was speaking about the twelve nations of Israel the tribes descended from Jacob. As Genesis 35:11 records: “God said to Jacob, ‘A nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body.’” Steep: |
Exactly! “And He has no partner in His dominion, nor has He any protector out of weakness. And proclaim His greatness.” (Qur’an 17:111) “They say, ‘The Most Merciful has taken a son.’ You have certainly made an outrageous claim. The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation, that they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son.” (Qur’an 19:88–92) He doesn't have a companion nor a partner now why and how would he have a son. My God has no companion, no son. Your God has a mother, a son of himself, he regrets and he rests! Steep: |
Mr Common sense I didn't want to call you a thief....,,,,,. How about I shouted thie...,,,,f at you and my people lynce....,,,,d and burned...,,,, you, without due process? Would that be alright? FaAbData: |
I pray to God. And my God is not a God of regret, not a God that rests, now a God that lacks knowledge, not a God the devil would have the audacity to tempt, nor a God that was created. themanderon: |
I love the Judeo-Christian interpretation lol. Now, Let’s interpret it without your bias: 1. Wild donkey not wild man: The phrase describing Ishmael actually means a “wild donkey” . Why a donkey? Donkeys are usually tamed and in servitude, and, according to the Bible, Hagar was a slave. But Ishmael wouldn’t be; he would be free and independent, reflecting the Bedouin lifestyle. See Job 39:5–8, where God describes the wild donkey as free and joyfully surviving in the desert. 2. Not all Muslim majority countries are Arabs genetically,: when people discuss Middle Eastern conflict, they lump all Muslim-majority countries together and label them as “Arabs.” Politically, that is right but genealogically and genetically, it is not accurate. Afghans, Iraqis, Syrians, Egyptians, Lebanese, and Palestinians are not necessarily descendants of Ishmael, despite common assumptions about fighting or “wild” traits. Historical and genealogical traditions trace Ishmael’s descendants more reliably to regions like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, and several other parts of the Arabian Peninsula. Which again calls your claim about them being wild into question. 3. Finally, the grammar in the verse about Ishmael’s dwelling deserves attention. For example other interpretations: New American Standard Bible (NASB): “he will live to the east of all his brothers.” King James Version (KJV): “he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” English Standard Version (ESV): “he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen.” chiboycue: |

Again you attacking your God. You have an issue with Ishmael whom your God conferred blessings upon him and his descendants. Genesis 17:20 – God says to Abraham: “As for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him and will make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall father twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.” Yet you have the audacity to say otherwise against Him, despite God's blessings. I don't find it unusual with Christians, there is hardly any debate where you don't end up attacking God or his people because you have an issue with Islam. FYI, you were wrong with your initial submission. Christianity has taken more lives than every other religion Abrahim religions. The issue with Islamic terrorism is heavily influenced and most times funded by Judeo-Christians. chiboycue: |
Common sense, dear. Would it be cool if I called you a thief and then a mob gathered to lynch and burn you? What about handing you over for arrest, trial before the king, chiefs, or proper authority? Americans don’t tolerate that nonsense. FaAbData: |
You celebrate the birthday of "God" on a day and on a month he wasn't born. Muslims don't. The ones that do are only doing it for themselves. Vigils are nothing new in Islam, it is called Tahajjud and it is mentioned in the Qur'an. Holding it though en mass is a problem. It is meant to be a personal time between a believer and his God. themanderon: |
1. Daniel 2:31:45 mentions 4 kingdoms and then a 5th. Now let’s break it down whose kingdom God is referring The kingdoms are: 1st Kingdom – Babylon 2nd Kingdom – Medo-Persia 3rd Kingdom – Greece 4th Kingdom – Rome 5th Kingdom – God’s Kingdom 😘 aka Islam The whole world and history can testify that after Rome, it was the Arab conquest of Palestine. And Islam cannot be destroyed. It is here to stay. “But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth.” “In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed” 2. Deuteronomy 18:18: I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren; and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. “A Prophet like you (Moses)” – Not an ordinary leader, but one with law, guidance, and governance like Moses. 2. “From among their brethren” – The “brethren” of the Israelites are the Ishmaelites (descendants of Abraham through Ishmael). This points outside the direct Israelite line. “I will put My words in his mouth” – The Prophet will not speak from himself but only what God commands. This mirrors Qur’an 53:3–4: “He does not speak from [his own] desire. It is but a revelation revealed.” “He shall speak to them all that I command him” Complete obedience to God’s words, not partial or selective. OriOko88: |

Trust me he would rather a religion that God says we should fight those who fight us or continue to break their agreement and put Muslim lives at risk (which is the kill infidels part between) Than a religion Where your God commanded geno...,,,,cides including killi...,,,ng new born many times in the Bible ![]() Fiscus105: |
Here is a riddle for you: In America, they don't lynch and burn thrives or armed robbers In Nigeria we do, do you suggest we wipe Nigerians off the face of earth for such animalistic behaviour? Antoeni: |
Go and fight your God in Genesis Genesis 17:20 – God says to Abraham: “As for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him and will make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall father twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.” I love when Christians attack their God and men of God ![]() You are very funny people chiboycue: |
That used to be common claim but amongst reputable theologians, only id........,,,,it's and fo....,,,ols say such That was a just over 1400 years ago. It would only be dishonesty to think otherwise despite mountain of evidence of the Propeht and men who knew him. It is fine to be dishonest. We don't expect any less. chuose: |
And raised high for you your repute - Surah Ash Sharh Vs 8 The most influential man ever lived! May the peace and mercy of Allah be upon him! ***The enemies of Islam resent how a man from a small town in Arabia became so influential on over more than two billion people. This is why Islam is dangerous |
This happens too often and yet the useless government hasn't done a damn thing about it |

Yeah, nice writing. A million years from now, You know, I know, He will still carry the XY chromosomes ![]() So who is fooling who But maybe, just maybe humans will evolve into something stranger. Some might feel like rats. Some might crave bodies unlike their own. And perhaps we will accept it. Perhaps we will treat body dysmorphia not as an illness, but as an evolutionary step. If someone says, Two arms feel wrong, they weigh me down, they make me suicidal then society may one day support their choice to cut one off. And so on. Because that, too, is evolution. If we were once monkeys, what stops us from becoming dogs or mosquito tomorrow? JackDaAlienz: |
