Saved From What?
The first question to answer concerning soteriology is: “Saved from what?” What does it mean to be saved, and how did the need for salvation come about?
Christianity teaches that all men (in the gender- neutral sense) have an inherent sin nature. This sin nature is a result of the fall of Adam, the first created being. Genesis 3 records the exchange between the serpent and Eve. God gave Adam and Eve every good thing that He created to eat for their sustenance. They were forbidden only from eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge. But God also gave them moral responsibility and choice. They chose to disobey God and thus God’s perfect creation became tainted with the stain of sin, resulting in man being separated from the close communion with God that Adam enjoyed prior to the sin. Sin ultimately resulted in both physical death and spiritual death—eternal separation from God. This one sin caused all future offspring to be born with a sin nature where, left to our inborn instincts, would live in sin continually. The bible tells us that this one sin condemned all mankind. “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned” (Rom. 5:12).
Islam, on the other hand, teaches that Adam did indeed sin, but it was his sin alone and had no bearing on future generations. Sin in no way affected the relationship between man and Allah, because no relationship existed. Allah is a far distant God who cannot be known and does not enter into a personal relationship with man as in Christianity. Thus, no relationship was broken. Adam’s sin was his alone, for which Allah was displeased and for which Adam needed personally to seek to reconcile. Sura 4:111 says, “And if any one earns sin. he earns it against His own soul: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.” Additionally, in contrast to the Bible, the Qur’an teaches that the fall occurred in heaven, and Adam’s punishment for his sin was banishment to earth for a time to toil for his existence. “(Allah) said: "Get ye down. With enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood,- for a time. He said: "Therein shall ye live, and therein shall ye die; but from it shall ye be taken out (at last)" (Sura 7:24-25).
Saved How?
Salvation in Christianity is achieved on the basis of faith alone in the atonement of Jesus’ death on the cross (Rom. 5:17, 19) and not by any righteous work we may attempt (Eph. 2:8-9). Works do have a place in the life of a Christian, but only as evidence of a pre-existing faith (James 2:18). Works or good deeds have no salvific value apart from faith (Titus 3:5-7).
In Islam salvation is achieved on the basis of good works alone. These works include doing honorable deeds plus keeping five requirements, or “pillars,” of Islam: witness (“There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet”), ritual prayers five times daily (salat), alms giving (zakat), fasting during Ramadan (saum), and a pilgrimage to Mecca (hajj). On the day of judgment Allah will have a set of scales to weigh one’s good deeds against his bad deeds (Sura 21:47). Salvation is achieved by having more “good” deeds on account than “bad” ones, thus hoping to win Allah’s favor.
The Christian’s salvation is sure and confident. God’s promises are never broken, and we can rely on scripture when it declares that faith in Jesus saves (Acts 16:31) and we can rest confidently in this assurance (1 John 5:13).
By contrast, the Muslim’s salvation is never guaranteed. The individual Muslim must produce good works and hope that at judgment day Allah will grant favor. However, Allah is under no compulsion to save anyone, and no such promise of salvation is found in the Qur’an. Allah saves whom he will and punishes whom he will in what seems to be a purely capricious manner.
Salvation to Where?
Jesus tells us in the Bible that he has gone to prepare a place for us, so that where he is we also may be (John 14:2-3). Ultimately a new heaven and new earth will be created to replace the earth which was corrupted by Adam’s sin in the garden. Full father-son relationship will be established as man dwells together with God (Rev. 21:1-7). The new earth and the new Jerusalem will be a place of righteousness, purity, joy. Man will honor God and his son Jesus Christ, singing and dancing in expressive praise to them. The heaven of the Bible is a place of complete holiness and celebration.
Salvation for the Muslim means gaining entrance into “paradise.” In Paradise there is no worship of Allah taking place. Rather, men (males) are the objects of worship, in that all earthly pleasures are at the disposal of worthy men who gain entrance into Paradise. Sura 55 describes Paradise as two gardens “Containing all kinds (of trees and delights); In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach). In them will be (Maidens), chaste, restraining their glances, whom no man or Jinn before them has touched; Like unto Rubies and coral. And besides these two, there are two other Gardens, Dark-green in color (from plentiful watering). In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful; Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions; Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched; Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty.” Salvation to Paradise means the fulfillment of every earthly pleasure a desert dweller of the ancient middle east culture could ever dream of: lush, dark green gardens abounding in foliage; abundant rivers of clean, flowing water; every kind of imaginable fresh fruit to tantalize the tongue; chaste, virgin maidens awaiting the beck and call of each man. This is not a place of holiness; it is a place of excessive indulgence of every pleasure known to man.
What is Hell?
Those who reject Jesus Christ as the sacrifice for their sin will, according to the Bible, be cast into a lake of fire and brimstone, to be tormented eternally. “But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death” (Rev. 21:. Hell is reserved for all who continue to follow earthly pleasures of sin rather than repent of sin and follow Jesus.
Islam, on the other hand, teaches that hell is reserved, not for those who reject the saving grace of Christ, but for those who either: 1) fail to have enough good deeds to offset their bad deeds on the day of judgment, or 2) fail to win Allah’s favor and are sent intentionally to hell by Allah’s will. Regarding the judgment, the Qur’an records: “Then shall we question those to whom Our message was sent and those by whom We sent it. And verily, We shall recount their whole story with knowledge, for We were never absent (at any time or place). The balance that day will be true (to nicety): those whose scale (of good) will be heavy, will prosper: Those whose scale will be light, will be their souls in perdition, for that they wrongfully treated Our signs” (Sura 7:6-9).
The Islamic doctrine of salvation seems to fall short of providing an important component of a cohesive and comprehensive worldview. As fathers, many of us know what is like to have a relationship with our sons. If we are made in the likeness of God, then it would seem natural that God would want to have a relationship with his “sons.” Yet, this is not what Islam teaches. Further, salvation to Paradise seems to be particularly suited to meeting the needs of a specific target group of patrons: Middle Eastern men of antiquity, rather than a more broad range of the earth’s population as one would expect of a universal God who loves all people equally. The Islamic doctrine of salvation just doesn’t make sense.

This summary of my understanding of the scriptural teaching on heaven constituted the guidelines around which I exercised my imagination to portray scenes in heaven:
1. Heaven is the dwelling place of God( Deut. 26:15; Matt. 6:9).
2. Heaven is the dwelling place of God’s angels( Luke 2:15; Matt. 28:2; Heb. 12:22).
3. Heaven is the dwelling place of God’s saints from earth who have diedand now live there in his presence (Rev. 4-5; Luke 16:22, 25; Heb. 12:23).
4. At death, the human spirit leaves the body ( Ec. 12:7) and goes either to heaven or hell( Luke 16:22ff).
5. There is immediate conscious existence after death, both in heaven and hell( Luke 16:22ff.; Luke 23:43; 2 Cor. 5:8; Rev. 6:9-11; Phil. 1:23). There is no “soul sleep” or period of unawareness preceding heaven. (“Fallen asleep” in 1 Thes. 4:13is a euphemism for death, describing the spirit’s departure from the body, ending our conscious existenceon earth.)
6. Heaven is an actual place, to and from which Christ ( John 1:32; 6:33; Acts 1:2), angels ( Matt. 28:2; Rev. 10:1) and in rare circumstances people, even prior to their deaths, have traveled ( 2 Kings 2:11; 2 Cor. 12:2; Rev. 11:12).
7. Heaven is consistently referred to as “up” in location( Mark 6:41; Luke 9:51). We do not know whether it is a place “in the heavens” (the universe beyond the earth) or entirely outside the space/time continuum. We do know heaven is someplace, and presently that place isn’t earth.
8. Heaven is where Christ came from( John 6:42), where he returned after his resurrection ( Acts 1:11), where he now is and from which he will physically return to earth again ( Acts 1:11; Rev. 19:1-16).
9. Heaven is described as a city( Heb. 11:16; 12:22; 13:14; Rev. 21:12). The normal understanding of a “city” is a place of many residences in near proximity, the inhabitants of which are subject to a common government. “City” may also connote varied and bustling activity.
10. Heaven contains for believers a permanent inheritance, an unperishing estate specifically reserved for us.( 1 Pet. 1:4).
11. Heaven is the Christian’s country of citizenship( Heb. 11:16; Phil. 3:20). Christ is our King. We are his ambassadors, representing his agenda on earth ( 2 Cor. 5:20). While on our brief stay here, we are aliens, strangers and pilgrims ( Heb. 11:3). Ambassadors, aliens and pilgrims identify themselves and plan their lives with a focus on their home country. Should they become too engrossed in the alien country where they temporarily reside, they can easily compromise their allegiances to their true King and true country.
12. God’s people should long for heaven.This pleases our Lord, who has prepared a place there for us ( Heb. 11:13-16; 2 Cor. 5:2). We should be ever-motivated by the anticipation of heaven ( Phil. 3:14; 2 Tim. 4:.
13. Heaven and all that it represents should be a central object of our attention in this life.Our hearts or minds are to be continuously set on these “things above” where Christ is in heaven, not on “earthly things” ( Col. 3:1-4).
Note: The popular notion of Christians being “so heavenly minded they’re of no earthly good” is a myth. On the contrary, most of us are so earthly minded we are of no heavenly or earthly good. C. S. Lewis said, “It is since Christians have largely ceased to think of the other world that they have become so ineffective in this one.” God commands us to be heavenly minded, and doing so will give us the perspective and motivation to live on earth as he has commanded us ( Heb. 11:26-27).
14. There is a sense in which believers are currently in heaven with Christ( Eph. 2:6; Col. 3:3). Our intimate link with Christ in his redemptive work somehow makes us inseparable from him. As we walk with him and commune with him in this world, this reality makes it sometimes possible to experience a faint foretaste of heaven’s delights and wonders.
15. Heaven will provide us delivery from the present conditions of material decay and corruption( Matt. 6:20).
16. Heaven will provide us delivery from the current sinful human condition( Rom. 7:24).
17. The redeemed in heaven are described as “shining” and wearing “white robes,” indicating their moral purity and righteousness( Dan. 12:3; Matt. 13:43; Rev. 3:4; 6:11).
18. Heaven is a place of great joy and pleasures for the redeemed( Psalm 16:11).
19. The names of Christ’s redeemed are written in heaven( Luke 10:20; Heb. 12:23; Rev. 20:15).
20. When in his presence, Christ will give new names to the righteous, known only between him and them( Rev. 2:17). This implies some level of privacy.

Dude is the funniest person I have come across on this forum. So you think after dedicating yourself to God's worship on earth, you will still go and continue the spirituality after, so what then is ones reward for doing what Allah commanded and staying away from what he prohibited.
In paradise, the only thing believers do is to enjoy, enjoy and enjoy, there is also no sickness, hunger and all those things which serve as a trial for man on earth, people eat and drink to enjoy not because they are hungry or thirsty, one does not become too full that he has to excrete, no menstruation etc t is the reward for living a good life and obeying Allah's commandment.
In paradise you do whatever your heart desire and nobody will ask you why you are doing that even though its not possible one of teach hers use to say when you are in paradise, if anybody told you this is what you should do and what you should not do or someone come and call you let's go for worship, please look for a whip and flog the person. This is just to emphasize that in paradise no any spirituality.

Oh, yes. Well, Muslim Paradise is described in the Quran in very plain words. And in surat Mouhammed, surat number 47, verse 15, and I am reading from the Quran, so anyone who is watching could go back to the Quran and make sure that I have said that, the description of Paradise which have been promised, it said in it are rivers of water that taste and smell of which are not changed. Rivers of milk, of which the taste never changes. Rivers of wine, delicious to those who drink. And rivers of clarified honey. There are in for them in every kind of fruit, and forgiveness from their lord. So in the Muslim Paradise you'll find rivers of waters, rivers of milk, and rivers of wine. The most interesting thing, that the Quran forbids drinking alcohol. It's forbidden in any Islamic society to drink alcohol. No whiskey, no wine permitted. But in Paradise it will not be bottles, it will be rivers. You drink, and you drink, and you drink, and you drink. One time I asked a Muslim friend, "How come?" The Quran says that wine is forbidden. If it's forbidden here, why it should be permitted there? He said, "For Allah to compensate us for what we did not do during our life on Earth."
Then you go to surat Al Tor, this is surat number 52. And beginning of verse 17, another description of the Paradise of the Muslims. "Verily, the pious (righteous people, good people, good Muslims) will be in gardens (Paradise means garden, you see), and the delight, enjoying in that which their lord has bestowed on them. And their lord saved them from the torment of the blazing fire, eat (Allah is telling to the Muslims) and drink with happiness because of what you used to do." Salvation here is by works, not by faith, or not by grace. "They would recline on beds, arranged in ranks, and we shall marry them to fair women with wide, lovely eyes." Oh, how many?
If you go to the Hadis, it is said it is between 70 and 100 women for each man. Is that the eternal life we are looking to? Is that what we want to enjoy in the after life? Women with lovely, wide eyes? 70? 100? One of the writers in Egypt wrote an article, one day, and he said, "Listen, if any Muslim will marry 70 or 100 women in heaven, in Paradise I mean, I am sorry, then he will be occupied from morning to evening to them. He will not have time to think about spiritual things, about God, about anything. Women around him..." And then he said, in a mocking way, "One woman is enough to this terrible life? You want hundred of them?" But this is the Muslim anticipating. When they die, they want milk, pure water, they don't have pure water, plenty of pure water; they have gas in Saudi Arabia, but not pure water, not easy, you see, milk, wine, and pure water. Women with wide, lovely eyes, and that is all of it.
And the most important thing is that man will sleep with these 70 or 100 women each day, and the next day they will turn to be virgins again. How come? This is what they say, that they will be virgins again, and again, and again. What kind of imagination is that, and what kind of paradise is that? And the question I ask is, "Well, all right. Men, you will enjoy 70 women. What about women? How many men they enjoy? Or is paradise for men only?? So, when you go and read the Quran, you will find out that the paradise of Islam is a sensual paradise. It is not a spiritual paradise..
So I am curiously asking this question from the muslims,are you hoping to have 72virgins,river of milk/honey and wine for yourself in allah's heaven?

Islam is only about Ishmael and Hagai. Nothing is said about other children of Abraham. That should make people suspect the religion. If Abraham truly found Islam, would he not carry all his children along? None of the children of Sarah participated in Islamic rituals in Mecca, yet they say Islam is for all mankind. Muslims say it was Ishmael that was sacrificed because Isaac didn't have any role he played in Islam.

The price is righteousness and relationship! No man can be Righteous all the time but he must have the humility to admit to his errors and seek mercy and forgiveness from God. He must also develop a relationship with the Holy spirit as it is the Holy spirit who takes from God and reveals to us the mind of God. The holy spirit is also a guide and a teacher.

Its like having the gift of word of knowledge or discernment as these gifts give you access to private information which your human mind isnt privy to so as the bible says " the secret things belong to God and He reveals them to those that fear Him". To fear is to rever and hold in high esteem.

So yes there is a price as God and His spirit are one. Love your enemies, pray for them that hate you and prosecute you. Living life in a spiritually different way from what the world teaches is one of the prices to pay.

God indeed speaks. It depends on the individual and which one they have decided to be comfortable with. However, knowing that it is God speaking is another thing as His words to you must agree with His word in the bible and the Holy Spirit in you must attest to this truth.

For me He speaka to me audibly or via visions and I have trained my spirit to recognize Him when He speaks.

Christians admit to their daily crimes, crimes which deserve capital punishment according to the bible. Who in their right state of mind will commit capital crimes in front of the police, only to beg their forgiveness after being apprehended?
