Crossing is actually the toughest,its safe to attempt both,since she has nothing to lose.she will know more about it when she resumes and probably love the course she's being given on the long run,cause its not easy to repeat a particular level again though its worth it.

This is inter faculty transfer ..dept under same faculty only do same courses in part1,except for some few dept.,what they will just have broadly in Common is chemistry (chm101)....
Chemistry dept will do phy101,mth101,chm101 and der corresponding prac in first semester..
Nursing will do phy105,mth105,chm101,zoo101,bot101,so you can see there lot of courses they are doing differently...
If it has been microbiology ,zoology or botany,it would have been easy since they do almost same thing in part 1

Thanks for enlightening me..now I can understand..do you advise it will still be possible to get her nursing or she should just take another jamb next year{which maybe hard considering jamb unpredictability}?

yes she can cross in 100l but she will have to resume to part1 in nursing and not part2 since they are doing an entirely diff courses in part 1....
But crossing isnt easy and they rarely release student in d dept of chemistry except of course u have a strong connection... Sitting for another jamb is the best bet

Hello guys,Pls I need ur views on this.my sister was given admission into OAU but not her desired course.
she wanted to study nursing but oau gave her industrial chemistry instead.she is being down since then because nursing science is what she really wanted.
Now my question is,can she still change to nursing after her 100level? I mean without needing to apply for another jamb next year.is there any hope of her getting her desired course in the long run if she wish to change her course?
