Hello, this service is fairly new to firstbank and the Information is not available at every branch. Your sponsor needs to go to customer service and convince them to contact FirstContact or Hq for directions on how to get the certificate. The service costs 1,000 naira. Here is a picture of the form, contact me if you still need the pdf of the form.

It takes 2 working days to process. After which the form would be sent to your sponsors email or phone number via WhatsApp.

Firstbank would do their best to convince you that they don’t do it. It is up to your sponsor to also do his best to convince them that they do. My sponsor spent 4hrs in the bank doing this and the certificate was released the next day. Good luck.

What bank is your sponsor using? It's not the same as regular. MyBankStatement is just a certificate that can be generated using the bank app. It depends on the bank and type of account. The statement of account will be sent to the embassy directly from the bank while you upload the certificate along with your application.

1. Sponsor can provide his/her SOA irrespective of their country of residence. However if the SOA is not written in English, you need to get a licenced translator to provide the information in English or French.

2. Sponsor should have sufficient funds that will cover for the first year of your studies in Canada and demonstrate his/her ability to finance subsequent year of study.

3. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) are still accepting and processing applications. IRCC has stated that it will not refuse applications for non-compliance and it will continue to process applications that are in progress at its case processing centres in Canada and around the world. The only delay you may face at the moment is enrolling for your biometrics as VFS is temporarily locked down.

1) yes doesn’t matter where your sponsor is he can provide the bank statement from his country of residence , with his source of income and also try as much as possible to show proof of relationship

2) for closing balance it should be more than your fees And add living expenses to it. For instance is your fees is 20kCAD and plus living expenses 10kCAD
He can show he has more than 30kcad at least 34k upward is reasonable. He just has to show the money Put in place for your education does not affect his well being and other expenses.

Humnmmm! Truth is bitter and unholy to the receiving entity (Applicants). Despite my connection and all the needed moves that I made, I was shocked to be informed by my link that " Sorry, the chance was so slim and I could not secure an appointment for you now. You made some statement which seem to bug me. I don't understand this country any longer. You said some position were not allocated to some region, me i seriously want to know why some people in a particular region are better suited for a particular position. If they really did that then why didn't they tell us all during the application process instead to save us heartbreak. I've really been through a lot in this country and if given the chance i would gladly denounce being a Nigerian cos there is nothing I've ever gained being Nigerian. I'm speaking from my heart

Am not here to discourage anyone neither am I here to give anyone false hope #just saying it as it is.... Might seem harsh but it's d truth. I applied with a 1st class in international relations under MFA 4rm Imo state without any connections n I wasn't shortlisted. But am waiting on batch b and this time I used my connections will let you know when my name is shortlisted.
