MikeofAfrica:You guys are so funny. NNPP was founded by an Igbo Man. Kwankwaso just joined the party last year . That party is over 10 years old . Boniface Aniebonam handed over the party structure to new leaders |
Hours after Peter Obi dumped the People Democracy Party, PDP has lost over 4k followers on their official Twitter handle .

Peter Obi strategy was so well thought of and articulated... Using the PDP platform he toured Nigeria with his message. A message that resonated with Millions and grew his popularity, now he has a firm base and structure, now he moves to become the opposition...Genius! For months he was granting interviews at news outlets...pushing his message out, telling Nigerians their problems and even condemning what is happening in his party. So many people said he shouldnt be doing this so early as party candidate hasnt been selected. He was 3 steps ahead, knew he wouldnt get it, but knew he could use the PDPs platform to profit. Political Masterstroke

Truth is, I never lost hope in Nigeria because we have old men who knows next to nothing about effective running of a country’s economy or who are too selfish to know that they’re closer to their graves than anything and needs to try to leave a legacy that will live for generations, I only lost hope cuz the youths of this country are more of bunch of morons who would rather laugh at their foreseen future of nothingness than worry about fixing a country that they’re rushing to marry and bear kids that’ll be fed to the brazen guns and machetes of the products of a failed state….. What do we see today more often? Beheaded corpses from North to South and the worst of it is that some demented fools actually take it as opportunities to say “I told you” rather than really get worried about a constant deteriorating system that begs for every manner of sacrifice and seriousness to try to stop the madness… It’s funny the mantra is “we have no power to change anything”, funny thing is, we are actually the driving force in everything that is happening. Kogi while traveling by road to Abuja, you hardly see any developments there, I’ve not really checked them on paper but you’ll readily see poverty written over the state (sorry if you feel offended, I’m just trying to make a point), during elections in this Kogi last time, youths from this same state allowed themselves to be used as tools to disrupt, kill and maim people to help rig elections in the state.. this is what mostly happens in various states of the nation especially the severe poverty stricken states and I ask, how can you people comfortably say that the youths have no hands in deciding elections in Nigeria?, Isn’t it obvious that the simple thing we need is sensitization? Isn’t it obvious that what we need is to awaken peoples mindsets to know that helping in one election unrest and rigging enslaves not just them but 2-3 generations to come each time they do it?… How can a supposed graduate support or voice support for Tinubu?, why am I even asking?, wasn’t it our glorified graduates that voted for and still voice support for Buhari?, epic failures of human beings and gross misinterpretation of humans with brains…. Make una dey mumu unaselves, if life seems like it’s running away from you, you’ll find a woman and marry begin give her belle…after all, these jagabans kids who will still stay in power in the next generations to come will need more hands they can use as experimental specimens or enslaved gullibles to replace your old and weak selves….of course like father like son, phools gives birth to dumber phools |
They don't need permission to do that . They should do it to redeem their Image . East has been peaceful till they declare that they are the leaders of Southeast |
SmartPolician:May not be popular in the North in 2019, but definitely not in 2023. His momentum has spread side . Atiku is popular in the North according to you, but when he contested for president he count get up to 3m votes . Was Yaradua popular in the South when he won the presidential election? The PDP structure is there to give anyone contesting under their platform the popularity. So Atiku should dead the talk of he got 11 votes bla bla bla. |
Reality3080:Is the North a determinant factor in winning election? GEJ won without them . BTw, differentiate the North from the North Central and Southern Kaduna. They ain't bigots they will vote massively for a southern president. I wonder if you guys even check the results I posted |
Reality3080:Remind me how many votes Atiku got when he left PDP? And by the way, why didn't Buhari become the president of Nigeria under his CPC? |
AshiwajuFoward:I don't have time for someone supporting Tinubu. I will engage with Osibanjo supporter more than Tinubu . Cos it is only an empty brain that will be supporting Tinubu |
SmartPolician:This write up is base in Atiku boosting that he should be given the ticket cos he got 11 million votes . Nah watin Dino dey use dey brag. But looking at it closely, Atiku failed woefully. Read the thread And see how I outlined how that election was decided . Truth is Peter Obi is the biggest candidate PDP have now. He has the support of the people. If you follow the 2019 election well, you will understand the buzz around him . That Buzz is still on while Atiku has died off |
Reality3080:APGA is controlling his state , but he won in a landslide in the presidential election. Got more votes than Wike, Atiku got In their states . Atiku almost lost in his state. Is it that you didn't read the thread or check the results slip? You just rush to comment |
Nigeria is a diverse country in terms of ethnicity, religion, and culture. Since the beginning of time, these features have been ingrained in our political system. As a result, we are inextricably linked. Nigeria needed a shift from the APC's misrule in the 2019 general election. The PDP is the only political party with the structure to beat the APC. Atiku Abubakar was viewed as the least evil among their presidential candidates, with Northern aspirations to unseat Buhari. Was Atiku considered by Nigerians to be a capable leader capable of steering the country's affairs? Certainly not. Nigerians see Atiku, like other politicians, as someone who contributed to the country's current state of chaos. Accusations of corruption have been hurled against him. We must not forget that he was the driving force behind the formation of the APC-led government. The fact that he chose Peter Obi as his running mate changed everything. As the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi has a demonstrated track record of sound financial management, disciplined leadership, wealth creation, a passion for education, and youth development, all of which are lacking in almost all of our contemporary politicians. Peter Obi was regarded as the team's symbolic leader. He was the one who granted interviews and held debates, and we must not forget that he educated our present Vice President on a discussion for which he was dubbed Mr China. The outcome of the 2019 presidential election reveals that Peter Obi was obviously the driving force behind the voting pattern. Remember when I said something about religion and ethnic sentiments? Atiku was viewed as a candidate who may snare votes from the North, particularly from the Muslims in the Core North, but he was soundly trounced by Buhari. If it weren't for the middle belts, he'd be lost in his native state. The religious and moral feelings definitely did not favor Atiku but Peter Obi, as evidenced by the results from states where the PDP won and those where they lost but received a large piece of the vote, such as Kaduna.(Please check Result) In his home town, Peter Obi triumphed by a landslide than Atiku did in his hometown. We're preparing for the 2023 election, and unsurprisingly , the momentum has shifted to Peter Obi. It is evident with the massive organic supporters he has unearthed. Hey, from INEC data, there has been an increase in voters registration. You cant deny the fact that Peter Obi has indeed unearthed dormant eligible voters . Nigerians from all walks of life support him for president. Join the dots to the election of 2019. One would expect that PDP would have handed over the ticket to Peter Obi by now on a consensus basis, but it appears that someone in Wadata Plaza isn't thinking.

Unzerious:Penalty by CBN which is affecting the small business owners and manufacturers but not the politicians. Now ask yourself , where do these Politicians get these dollars from when cbn ain't selling to banks again. All the ATM cards in Nigeria has been suspended from asking foreign transaction. The lest has 20usd monthly spend limit. Have you ask yourself how do small businesses that depends on foreign trade survive, yet politicians spend at reckless abandon. If the cbn ain't complicit to this, thsy should be the one enforcing the law . It is barbaric what politicians are doing in Nigeria |
Unzerious:Exactly what he is lamenting. This is same thing he is saying is bad. He is calling a spade a spade. He doesn't care if his ambition is affected. Look at Tinubu and Osibanjo today, saying they will continue in the legacy of Buhari. WTF. They cant criticize him cos they don't want their ambition to be affected. But Peter Obi doesnt care. Now, ask yourself, Is this practice good or bad. What punishment should it attract. lets take it from there |
inoki247:Please name a country where you will go and spend another country currency like we are doing in Nigeria here. Just imagine the thread made by Doyin Okupe aligning how much dollars were spent in PDP primaries. Someone also said thing in APC primaries. Dollars, not Naira. Yet Banks suspended the little 20usd in our ATM card. We are really sick in this country |
Mickykarim:You already know this is a serious crime. Laws will be made, if you go against the law, you will be prosecuted. Stop crying. Get ready to move from the corrupt system you are used to |
Mickykarim:Peter Obi isn't a career politician. He is a different breed. Left givern6went back to his business. Unlike others that will go to Senate and be collecting pension from their state. Peter Obi didn't do any of these . How is it difficult to see this man in a different light? |
While speaking with Classic FM, Peter Obi mentioned something. I'm not desperate to be Nigeria's president. I am desperate for Nigeria to succeed. Nigeria isn't working despite everything we have. Any country's currency serves as a measure of its economic stability. Importers, manufacturers, and small business owners are all looking for dollars, but they are unable to find it. In Nigeria, on the other hand, our politicians are squandering dollars . This is really insane. It is not possible to travel to another country and spend another currency there . If I am elected president today, any government officials who spend dollar in Nigeria would be arrested and prosecuted. |
The GDP per capita in the UK is roughly $50,000. The US GDP per capita is approximately $63,000. The GDP per capita in Nigeria is roughly $2,000. When visiting the White House in the United States, you must pay for any meal you take . There is no free lunch there . In the United States, no state governor can have more than 10 cars while in office . You will lose your governorship. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has invited me to a meeting. Coffee is the highest you will be served there . You are responsible for your own lunch. However, in Nigeria, where the GDP is low, politicians are wasting public funds. This is really insane and must be stopped. This is something you must combat. Interview with Peter Obi on Classic FM |
TheNiceGuy:I will make a thread on that and tag you sir . Thanks |
TheNiceGuy:You want to derail the thread. God pass u. I am sure you know why they are hyping him. His antecedents speaks volume. Go and verify. Google his your friend Incase you have forgotten |
TheNiceGuy:You name is Peter meaning Rock. On this Rock, I will build a new Nigeria. The enemies Will not prevail against her |
Earlier Today , there were rumors of Peter Obi jetting out to UK for a meeting with Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of UK. He has just announced via his official Page that he is In UK for a meeting. I just arrived at No. 10 Downing Street, London, for a meeting. Ran into Lord Marland of Odstock—full of warmth as usual. -PO Details of this meeting is still unknown.

WINNING A DELEGATE ELECTION IN NIGERIA. Those who have won delegate elections in Nigeria over the last 2 decades fall into the following categories. 1. Those backed by an incumbent government at national or state levels. 2. In the absence of a incumbent FG; those who are supported by a majority of "Super Stakeholders". These include sitting state governors, fmr governors & leaders in states where no sitting governors exist. 3. Aspirants who are able to dispense stupendous financial resources. In the absence of an incumbent FG, a very rich aspirant can prevail against scenario 2 above. Delegate elections are devoid of conscience, rational thinking, patriotism or the principle of right or wrong. From my many years of experience, 70 to 80% of delegates vote along with the dictates of their leaders. It has nothing to do most often with their personal convictions. WHY IS THIS SO? It is so because at the end of the convention everyone returns to his state. If at the convention you refused to toe the line, most assuredly you are likely to pay for it and certainly you will not be a delegate in the next election and so will many perks and privileges elude you in your state. This is not restricted to ordinary delegates alone. Even if you were a former minister or senator or whatever, once you fail to align with party directives, be ready for sanctions from the powers that be within the party in your state. INFLUENCE OF MONEY This is a very interesting and intricate matter. Money in some cases may be the ultimate deciding factor. And in other situations where group or regional interest is crucial and compelling, it may be of little consequence. But without money or with an offer considerably much lower than the leading contender financially, the poorer aspirant irrespective of pedigree, competence or suitability, may have no chance of winning at all. Mischievously, and quite treacherously, the new trend is that each state delegation collects monies from all the aspirants and thereafter do one of to things. 1. They still vote for the aspirant they had decided on from home based on several considerations. Or 2. Divide their votes pro rata in accordance to how the aspirants have faired financially. In the last PDP convention in Port Harcourt in 2019, most delegates went home with between $8000 & $10,000. This year, the figures are bound to be higher. The big spenders are prepared to go as far as $10,000 per delegate. As I write this piece, a delegate election to elect the state assembly member for my local government is underway. Information reaching me from the venue is that one of the two contestant is offering N200,000 per delegate while the other has offered N150,000. We have 10 wards and 3 delegates per ward. That is, each aspirant will today dispense N6m for this delegate election!!! Let no one fool you. This is what goes on nationwide and in all parties. Only the stakes differ. THIS PRACTICE IS NOT SUSTAINABLE AND IS INCONSISTENT WITH A PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATIC DEVELOPMENTAL GROWTH. |
A Northern Military Personnel has taken to twitter to announce that Nigeria Military has accepted his resignation from the army. @Dawa419 took to his Twitter page to make the announcement.
