I woke up as early as 5am this morning to meet someone I was directed to work as a bus conductor, I got there @ 6:15am this morning, he rejected me and said I was too skinny and gentle to do d job, I tried to convince him I could do it, but he never agreed. I left there immediately and entered a bus to national theater iganmu for a laborer job, someone here on NAIRALAND referred me. I got there 7:20am, but on getting there I explained to the security the reason I was there, he looked at me from head to toe and then shakes his head, I asked what was d problem, he asked if am sure I can do d laborer job, I assured him I will, so while were talking, a man passed by, I think its d supervisor, the security then told him I was here for the laborer job, he just bursted into laughter then I knew what he was going to say. in fact he even gave me 500naira for t.fare, he said he's advising me as a brother that I can't do the job that I should go home and look for other jobs.

When you are told you can't do something, it is a challenge to your ability. If you agree to their judgement, then you failed and it is your fault not theirs or any supernatural force.

Next time, take the challenge if you trust in your ability by telling the person to give you a trial period on the job to prove your ability. Cheers! Never let people talk you down as long as you know it is what you can do. Cheers!

You know why she is angry with you?
It is because her manipulative tendencies towards you are falling since you know how to handle the situations.

What to do:
Forgive her concerning those words but keep making sure she can't emotionally manipulate you.

mum and dad separated about 7 years ago..still living with mum...
Got admission into Uni in 2013 for a 5 years course.. completed my service year and life has been more than tough for me ...tho I graduated with a 2:2...
I'm so Broke and feel so very useless...
My immediate younger brother has millions in his account ( I don't want to talk about what he does to earn that much and I wouldn't want to get myself involved in what he does for a living--based on my personality) but has refused to set up a business for me after many appeal.....he sometimes help with 1k, 2k when I complain of not having money...
Not that I'm lazy, but I've been unable to get any job with my Certificate....it's been tough for me...
I feel very bad everytime I remember my brother can help me but he has refused to...
There was a time he even asked me to go hustle and start saving money for any business I want to do...
he said he can't just give me money for business..
not that I asked him for a million naira to start up..
just something small to start something with...
I'm very frustrated that a fam won't even help me..it's tiring.....
I've got no connections and that has hindered me from getting a job in this country...

Life's getting tiring....I've been having suicidal thoughts...
I feel so useless as the first son!...

WHAT SHOULD I DO

You don't like what he is doing but you want to share the fruits of it with him. When the consequences comes, will you also share it with him?

find something doing no matter how small and save up to start up the business you want. Also stop collecting urgent 1K and 2K from him.

Your book Cover should be genre specific and professional, and your book content must be informative if it is nonfiction and addictive if fiction, properly edited and formatted.

Its so crazy to me. No dignity, no honour. You're a married woman, yet u commit adultery to the point of carrying another mans child!!!, some women no dey Fear God o. What happens to those days you were single, you didnt have enough sex or what? seriously i don't get this? I know some mofos will some bullshit but this is just the truth,how does she want her children to look at her wen they grow up. Its no new thing that some irresponsible men though not all,will always want to go after another mans wife but you as a woman you got to give yourself some dignity

And most of them do the carrying another man's child part on purpose!
