Destroyed all vehicles on Odalume? You don't mean it. What year was this?

That should be 2004 or 2005
Crime / Re: Rasaq Bello, Hamburger Shot Dead by Stevo30: 3:01pm On Jun 02, 2017
The first time I eared of Hamburger was during the incidence of that boy in Shogunle. Ladipo boys and shogunle boys were reported to have clashed after a football game and a boy from shogunle was reportedly killed by hambuger boys. It degenerated to a big fight with police drafted to Ladipo bus stop for days. Hamburger was reported to have ran away. I was on Odalume one day after baout six month to incident when I heard that people shouting where is hambuger. Shogunle boys destroyed all vehicles on Odalume that day.

Maduawuchukwu:
Please you guys should tell me. Was It not the Hamburger who attacked his rivals house first?

From all reports he didnt attack first. They said that there was pandemonium after the canceled ward primary election close to his place and he went with his boys before he was attacked. If you have any contrary reports beside all the reports in the media, then state it.

Odalume is his root. Thats where his mothers house is. Though his boys are mostly on Bello street and Ladipo bus stop. He moved to Shogunle about a year ago. Moving to Shogunle was a wrong move for him anyway.

Oh dear, it's getting more scary now. What's the connection of Odalume to the whole saga? Thought Hamburger lived in the heart of Shogunle?

Besides, burning property in that axis can't possibly be done by his boys, since I assume that whole area is part of his stronghold.

More info please.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Barcelona In Search Of New Coach As Tito Surfer A Tumour Sickness Relapse by Stevo30: 4:51pm On Dec 19, 2012
According to reports from Spain, Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova has stepped down from his post after suffering a tumor relapse.

The coach had a tumour removed from his parotid gland in November last year while working as the Catalan club's assistant coach.

The operation was a success, and Vilanova returned to work with Barca, eventually taking over from Pep Guardiola when he stepped down in April.

Spanish television station Cuatro reported that Vilanova had suffered a relapse and had decided to step down with immediate effect.

Barcelona have already contacted their first-choice candidate to replace him on a temporary basis for the remainder of the season and are awaiting a decision.

"Very sorry to hear the news," Barca midfielder Xavi said on his official Twitter account.

Barca released a press statement this morning announcing they had suspended all activities for today but did not go into details and did not mention Vilanova.

The club confirmed a further announcement would be made later today.

The statement read: "Barcelona announce that it is has suspended the press conference from president Sandro Rosell planned for midday. As well as that, the media Christmas lunch has been cancelled.

"Later today the club will issue a further release. Until that time we will not make any announcement about this matter.

"We regret any inconvenience this decision may cause."

Despite there being no official confirmation about the condition of Vilanova, there have been messages of support from leading figures in Spanish sport.

Tennis star Rafael Nadal tweeted: "All my strength and support to Tito Vilanova! We are with you to overcome this new step."

Real Betis said on their official twitter feed: "RBetisOficial and their professionals offer their total support for the coach of FCBarcelona-es, Tito Vilanova."

Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera was quoted as saying in AS: "I'm stunned. Is it true? Tito has shown himself to be a fighter, overcoming a very serious illness and I hope that it's going to be the same this time. He has all of my support and that of the club."

MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo, meanwhile, tweeted: "£AnimoTito (encouragement for Tito)."

It is not known when Barcelona are expected to issue a new statement but the first-team squad are scheduled to train this evening at 1800 local time.

Barca are away to Real Valladolid in La Liga on Saturday for their final fixture before the winter break.

Travel / Re: Beware Of Chachangi Airways: Their Plane Is A Molue With Wings by Stevo30: 10:07pm On Oct 10, 2011
I have been on chachangi flight many times. One experience I would never forget is one particular flight sometimes in 2009 from Abuja to Lagos. it was the last flight or so on a friday and the flight was fully booked. On that day for the first and last time i saw people taking standing inside a chachangi flight. Two guys who are probably friends of the crew stood at the back of the air craft for the one hour or so journey. I taken chachangi many times after the episode though.

Politics / Re: Lagos Gets Third Passport Office by Stevo30: 5:09pm On Sep 11, 2011
This is not new, Lagos used to have 3 passport offices. The one in ikeja around PWD and Lagos old secretariat in Ikeja GRA was closed down a few years ago. i guess they are just reopening the ikeja passport office. I hope this will result in more efficiency.
Politics / Re: Aregbesola Awards Contract To Construct Highway To Ogun, Lagos by Stevo30: 8:31pm On Sep 05, 2011
While I think this is a good development, i dont think its anything special for the politicians to make noise about. I know the road they are talking about. Its not as if the state building roads where non existed, there are roads linking the communities but they have been in bad state for long. so all the state need do is upgrade the road on the axis which I think would boost food production and forestry in the communities.

Ask me I dont see this road even when it is fully upgraded being a by pass for lagos-Ibadan express way but it will open up those osun communities. With the road you still have to link ijebu-igbo, ijebu-ode, shagamu bypass to either go through sagamu -Ikorodu (terrible road) or Lagos-Ibadan expreess way by sagamu interchange.

For the sake of those communities between Gbongan/Ikoyi (Osun) and Ijebu-Igbo (ogun) I hope this project see the light of the day.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Action Aid Interview - What's Their Pay Structure Like? by Stevo30: 9:40pm On Sep 03, 2011
When you are going for Action Aid interview be prepared to spend a night or two if you are coming from outside Abuja. The interview start in the morning with a briefing by their interview team. this is follow up with a debate forum where all the interviewee are asked to speak on a number of issues. After this session there would be a feedback for each candidate on their performance during the debate/forum. Some would be asked to go after this session. the remaining candidates will then proceed to the next stage which could be computer test/or oral interview.

They would provide accommodation in a decent hotel and pay fair per diem.

Action Aid doesnt pay that much at least compare to industry practice (international NGOs) but its a good place to grow plus most of their jobs are not tied to project duration. You might also have opportunity to travel around the country and occasionally outside too if you are a program staff.

Enjoy the interview and best of luck.
Politics / Re: About Lawma's Ineptitude And Blackmail Tactics by Stevo30: 11:40am On Aug 18, 2011
I live somewhere close to Oshodi and the case is very different. The LAWMA private operator company comes around every monday to pick refuse. There are have been time in the past that they failed to come as scheduled, i simply just called the phone number on the bill and they come the next day. If you pay for a service you have the right to demand performance. As per the waste disposal receptacles, houses use it in my area i guess they were given after paying tenement rate/land use charge, all they do is to inscribe their house address clearly on it. In my house we use refuse bags which we place by the gate every monday.

I would advise that you call the number of your if there is one or look for time and go to your LG secretariat and speak to the LAWMA psp operator there.
