Traditional rulers in the South-East of Nigeria have been advised to immediately withdraw any chieftaincy title conferred on Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state for his alleged violation of the sanctity of the traditional institution in Igbo land.

Barely 10 months after Sir Jude Agbaso, former Imo State deputy governor was impeached over allegation of receiving N458 million bribe from a contractor, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has cleared him of the charges.

I came across an article on News Bearer Newspaper dated 30th September, 2013 where a group claiming to be Imo Conscience tried to throw more light on the High Chief Sandra Duru versus Prince Eze Madumere homosexuality issue and even though I have never really followed their case, I was drawn by the accusations made against this woman and that prompted me in my usual manner to look closer into the matter and find out the facts for myself.
