Going through yesterday's Guardian paper, I discovered an agency Samnet Resources Company- www.samnetrecruitmentonline.com They're asking for a fee& registration of the teller number online to further the application. Is there anyone who's had dealings with them or can attest for thier authenticity? Please acknowledge this, as I'm about going to the bank and probably getting defrauded.

One thing I for one, will look forward to is the networking. Do the basics first. Networking generally refers to the fact that; Never again- will you be amongst over 3,000 nigerian graduates from different communities/tribes, career line, ideologies and status. Market yourself for opportunities, to prospective employerswho'll most likely storm PLEATEU CAMP especially. Banks and other expanding sectors of the economy are competing to capture the north, in general by all means. take Clear/Neat hard copies of your resume(possibly in a flash driive, but cant guarantee the qualitee of printers there)

Tried applyin to union bank online (as most banks do, anyway). Searched for thier career portal on thier site,(as I heard they're recruiting) but found none, Looked out for an email or HR contact, but to no avail. Any recommendations out there?

How would you advise any intending applicant to start? I've tried the online career portal but it doesnt seem to work as I often get a failure delivery notice some mins later. I've been to the office and met a few staff, ojrganised, couteous, but just offered to pass my application to HR & haven't heard anything eversince, respite thier ongoing massive recruitment. ibk4real, feel my pain. My neigbour said after the test, the facilitators mentioned that text messages 'll be sent to both successful/unsuccessful candidates. WHAT i NEED TO KNOW IS IF THERE'S ANYONE OUT THERE WHO RECIEVED A MSG INDICATING FAILURE. Cause it seems everyone got the same txt.

this was also the case with my neigbour's. The text mentioned they'd get back to her in due course for an interview. What I want to find out is if there's anyone out there who got something otherwise, as not passing the test. I heard it was mentioned in an address to the test-takers that both SUCCESSFUL/UNSUCCESSFUL folks'll recieve a text.
