There is no gain saying the fact that Buhari who claimed to be a democrat has never hidden his love for his northern section...He said he is a democrat but he just displaying the character of military dictator. The question is why would he chose be doing this, when many people who voted for him are from the South and northern Christian minorities.

How can this speech be made by a president of a whole country? Would Yoruba, Igbo, Ijaw, Tiv, Igala, Ibibio, Efik people be comfortable with it? Nigeria is really in trouble with this man as the president. His love for the north is fanatical, but he should do so in a private capacity.

Buhari being an emir, a religious cleric, would have been okay...than being a president of diverse and multi-cultural country like Nigeria.

If this is done Enugu will really go far. Enugu is the most blessed state in the South East, Enugu has the largest landmass of the Igbo states and also one of the most determined and brilliant people in the world. We also have the great capital of Igbo land(042) so there is no reason why Enugu should not be the best.

Enugu deserves a befitting city center, or town centre with high rise office spaces, residential apartments, and shopping spaces.

The picture below was completed less than 4 years ago. It used to be the residential area with blocks of one-storey apartments. I lived around there.

Regenerating old areas will enhance the city and people will start to relocate there...

Yes, the SE governors should create Diaspora Fund...The fund should be managed by investment experts for the development of the region.

In 2015, $21 billion was remitted by Nigerians in the diaspora. The people from SE make up more than 60% of those that remitted that money.

Currently, these monies are spent by SE individuals, developing Lekki Lagos and Abuja.

The wealth fund should be designed and people who buy into it would expect some profit in due time.

Wealthy easterners, who are in Nigeria can also buy into the fund.
